Service was good, billing extremely questionable…read more Setting up the appointment was somewhat easy. When Dean returned my message, he first stated he didn't work in our town it was too far. He then asked what neighborhood we lived in, and I told him. He then did a 180 and said for your neighborhood, we make exceptions. Fine. His employee showed up on time. He was able to diagnose our problem, fix 2 heads and installed a new wifi control box. I received the bill a week later. The labor charge for the installation of the wifi box and 2 heads was listed as one charge, the 2 heads listed as the second charge and finally the wifi box as the lay and final line item. I immediately noticed the cost of the box seemed elevated? I researched multiple stores on web stores and the cost of the box was 1/2 of price he was charging me. He charged us $250 for a box that retails at MSRP at $119 (most stores had them on sale for about $100). I asked Dean about why the cost was so high and he pretty much told me it costs what it costs. If you need irrigation work, get a quote ahead from them and do your due diligence. The work was great, and they showed up on time. Their billing practices are questionable.

We were in a bind and needed help quickly. Two companies who were working on installing cables in…read morethe area really messed up our irrigation system near the backflow device and our main water line. While this wasn't intentionally done, and they tried to do some things to help restore our water, unfortunately the people who did the work lacked the expertise to complete the job. We needed someone before the hole was closed and work completed. The backflow device, which by itself is an expensive piece to replace, was toast. Our irrigation system was completely cut off. We called our plumber, All Hours Plumbing, who referred us to Blue2Green. Micheal and his associate sized up the situation and not only replaced the backflow device, but also rerouted the pipes, simplifying the arrangement and adding a new cut-off valve. His charge was very reasonable, considering the effort involved, all the parts, and what he did to straighten out the problem. What I ended up with was in my opinion a work of art. I will continue to use him for all our irrigation needs. I highly recommend his services. If you need a professional for any irrigation problem I suggest you contact Blue2Green. I don't think that any of the other companies I've used in the past for irrigation problems could have handled this so artfully, efficiently and timely.

They replaced the controller and repaired two leaks, which I approved. My issue arose when I was billed an additional $295 for a separate drip line repair that was never quoted, discussed, or approved beforehand. Throughout the service call, estimates were being provided by text and I was approving repairs before work was performed. In fact, I specifically asked for estimates before any repairs were made. When I questioned the additional charge, the company could not point to any communication showing that the $295 repair had been quoted or authorized. Instead, I was sent photos of the completed repair and was told (threatened) that if I did not pay for it, they would return and remove the repair from my system. And, I was informed they would not be warrantying any of their service because I would not pay them for this unauthorized/unapproved repair. To be clear, I do not dispute the service call, controller replacement, or the two leak repairs that I approved. My concern is solely with the separate $295 charge that was never presented for approval before the work was completed. The irrigation system is functioning better than before, though still making some noise. I cannot recommend a company that performs additional work without authorization and then bills the customer afterward. The handling of the billing dispute was disappointing and unprofessional.

Third job: (Last fall) paid for manual pulling/removal of Bermuda grass from garden beds, plus weed control and mulch. Emphasis on manual removal - explicitly was told they would pull all the Bermuda out manually to get all the roots out. Took a bit of chasing around to get them to actually get it on the books, and then when they did come they just buzzed everything with a string trimmed and sprayed weed killer over that. We agreed to still pay the full price on the condition that Gairy would send a team out in the spring once the Bermuda woke up and inevitably came through the mulch since it wasn't removed. He agreed, and we left it at that. Flash forward to this year and has completely ghosted us and been non-responsive. Even tried asking about having a bunch of other services added so that it wouldn't be a totally free trip, but still No luck. We finally gave up on any hope of getting the promised services, hired Mr. Outdoor Living, dropped like $4K on services with them instead and will be sticking with them next year when we do a sprinkler system and stone retaining walls.
