Munson's is a CT treasure of chocolate shops! I unfortunately don't live close to a store, but my doctor would be thankful as their sweet treats are irresistible, and so decadent! This visit I tried a milk chocolate caramel coconut covered pretzel that was just the absolute most delicious sweet treat I've had in a long time! Also loved loved loved the dark chocolate lemon candy, ahhhhmazing! The service is always stellar, back in the day we used to do an Easter fundraiser with Munsons for our PTA and they were easy to work with there too. Quality products, my daughters love the chocolate covered potato chips in boxes and they are super tasty for a salty, sweet, crispiness you can't find anywhere else. read more

Stopped by here to pick up some goodies for my staff members during the holiday season. The store was very packed but staff were great at getting to everyone. It's a bit disorganized in that customers were standing around and it wasn't clear who was up next. Regardless, I didn't wait too long and was able to get some pre packed chocolates and a mini four pack for myself. I have been a life long CT resident and can't believe I just discovered their chocolates now. They've got a great variety and something for everyone. Their prices are in line with other fancy chocolatiers but well worth it. I got some truffles to go and quickly ate them on my drive home. Will definitely be back! read more

They had a lot of freshly made chocolates at the front and some prepackaged ones to sell as well. I got a few of each and everything was delicious! The chocolate is the best chocolate I've ever had. My favorite is the dark chocolate turtles. The flavors are well balanced. I haven't found another chocolate shop like it. The best on the east coast. The staff is always friendly and helpful and the stores are open and welcoming. It's a little pricey but well worth it. I highly recommend stopping in and having a taste. What can I say about this place? If you love chocolate? This is the place that you need to go and get some truffles , gifts & treats. I got some truffles for my wife, she loves them. They offer different options of truffles like dark chocolate, white chocolate. Also they have pretzels with chocolate. Their staff are friendly and helpful. Prices are by pound. The flavor is surprisingly like See's, so it hits all my nostalgia buttons hard. Wham! Have a chocolate-covered marshmallow. This is not where you go to savor single-source 98% dark chocolate. It's for your favorite fillings (caramel! jelly! nuts! creams!) covered in chocolate with a friendly, familiar taste, at an affordable price. It's good-quality chocolate the way a farm-market apple pie is good. The store is bright and clean and pretty (also very See's), and I found the staff reassuringly pleasant. My go to chocolate place for any occasion. They have delicious, high quality chocolate and plenty of assortment of different flavors and fillings. My only gripe would be that it is difficult trying to order at the counter. Especially on a holiday like Valentine's Day, you can't really see what your choices are until you are up at the counter and it is your turn order. I credit the staff, because they did not try to rush any of the customers, but, I could definitely feel the pressure from the people waiting in line behind me! read more
