I called in to reschedule my appointment, that's right, reschedule not cancel and the receptionist said I would have to pay $25 fee to reschedule my 5 PM appointment. Mind you it was 9 am and I was out of town.. I would understand if I was a long time client with a long list worth of cancelled ,no show or rescheduling, but no, it was my second appointment and I was unaware of such fee and rules or else I would have called with a week of advance. The receptionist voiced annoyance and zero empathy and pretty much said "tough luck we have signs all over the lobby", "we don't care about your business". Mind you, I have been in their lobby once before and never saw said sign. Really saddened to see how this business didn't care to keep my business but was more concerned about having me pay $25 and collect it. It's not about the $25, it's the lack of professionalism and the way they managed the situation and delivered the message. This place lacks tact. Overall, aside from the outrageous fee to reschedule, the massages are extremely overpriced and mediocre. Trust me, go else where! You'll thank me later.

That's what you call a real Doctor. I also want to mention before calling Peterson Wellness Center I took my loved one to the ER twice but that was a complete waste of time. The IBS flare up causes severe nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain. Needless to say the ER was absolutely no help and to be honest the lack of compassion didn't help the situation. I literally was worried for his life. Dr. Ohling gave him a bag of amino acids, vitamins/nutrients intravenously which helped. He's been back multiple times and is finally getting his health back. Probably the strange bed and pillow I've been using for the past 10 days did it. I called first thing and got an appointment with Dr. Johnson a few hours later. He was professional, friendly, thorough and absolutely wonderful! Not only did he fix my neck/shoulder issues, but he took the time to adjust my entire body, from head to toe! I've had a rotator cuff injury for the past year and even after PT and special treatments, it still causes me issues when I sleep on occasion. I mentioned this and he asked if he could adjust my shoulder. I agreed and although it was a little uncomfortable, I enjoyed a peaceful night's rest. I've never had a chiro adjust my feet and although I didn't need too much, it was nice to know I am healthy and ready to hike Bryce this week. He uses enough pressure to get a great adjustment, but he is careful to ensure that no harm is done. She responded with the following message that suggests this MA does not have patience and she needs to fix her attitude (see attached screenshot). Also, it is very hard to reach this clinic. Sometimes I call several times throughout the day and it goes straight to voicemail (very frustrating). There is no menu where you can select the option to speak to appointment desk, MA, medical records, billing, etc. The problem is the receptionists handle all the incoming calls and they definitely need a phone menu to direct calls properly. If you need to speak to the MA about a medical issue, you have to speak to reception first to transfer and you can't always get a hold of someone in reception. UPDATE: I received a certified letter from the clinic (Dr Emily Rhodes) stating that I am fired as a patient (see attached letter). As a lgbtq patient, I am disheartened to be treated this way. This is retaliatory for speaking up and providing feedback for an obviously inappropriate response from a medical assistant. The certified letter inaccurately accused me of being disrespectful, while it is the medical assistant herself who is acting unprofessional. This clinic is overly aggressive and has dealt with my complaint by firing me. It is a shame for this clinic to be called lgbtq affirming and I encourage any patient especially LGBTQ and BIPOC to avoid this clinic like the plague.
