The folks working on his behalf made numerous mistakes, causing the project to go over time (by multiple weeks) and over budget, to the point we terminated working with them and had to finish the project ourselves (which was more time and more money for us). If Joe had been on site, it may have gone differently, but in the end, it was a very upsetting experience. Looking online, I see only the positive, raving reviews, but the company has been in business for so long that I wonder where the other reviews are...? If your project is unusual at all, shop around.

Needed renovations at the house; e.g. kitchen, basement and spare bathroom…read more After doing research; e.g. reviewing the Better Business Bureau, reading reviews, etc. and getting a few quotes, I decided to go with Joe Costantino of "Do It All Contracting"; a member of the Better Business Bureau since 1997! When I first met with Joe, he was very personable and gave good advice/suggestions! Sometimes, we think we know what we want, but when it gets close to getting done...not so much! Do It All Contracting had reasonable rates/pricing; e.g. another contractor was going to charge $20.00 more per hour for the electrical work. I was very satisfied with the workmanship and the work was completed on budget and schedule!

Building my first home with this company has been a nightmare…read more They quoted us 6 months to build the house. I expected a delay but what was unexpected was when it took double the quoted time to build the house. This is not a large house, it is a 1400 sq/ft starter home! During the build they switched sales reps. The new one was a sarcastic, rude, unhelpful, jerk, who drove friends of ours away from buying homes with Homexx. I almost wish he was our sales rep, so that we had never built with them. The blamed everyone but themselves for the delay. Trades, Weather, and they apparently went through several site supers who managed the development "poorly" and they told us the new site super that was taking over was supposed to "clean up the disaster". He did not last very long and we only met him on our possession walk through. We finalized our build decisions and choices on November 2013, once we finally did take possession on October 29, 2014 the real problems started. We started dealing with their Service Coordinator. She was next to impossible to reach and when we finally did get a hold of her, she told us things were "scheduled to be finished in the next couple weeks" two weeks later when nothing had been done we would call back and she would blame the site super and say she was not the one that scheduled the trades but she would refuse to give us his contact information. She would tell us she would speak to him and get back to us but then we would not hear from her for weeks. When we got in touch with her the cycle would start all over again. "its scheduled to be completed in the next couple of weeks" nothing would get done, call in two weeks, and she would blame the site super. ARE YOU KIDDING!??? This company's customer service is atrocious. They couldn't be bothered to answer any questions you might have and it feels like a fight to get any level of commitment from them just to do what I paid them to do. It's a good thing I'm handy because I have resorted to fixing all the issues myself just so they get done at all, let alone in a timely manner. For example, it is now August 2015 and the front of our house has finally been painted. I can't even imagine what it would cost someone who isn't capable of doing repairs and renovations themselves. The only person who has ever been able to provide us with any answers was their sales manager. And getting in touch with her took a review on their facebook page and a complaint with the better business bureau. Take my advice. DO NOT BUILD WITH HOMEXX HOMES.

To: Any future home buyer…read more This is not a sales pitch, or us simply writing kind words in the form of a referral. This is me and my wife simply telling a story of how we purchased our home and why. We were expecting our first child, living in a basement with two big dogs and on the hunt for a home for our growing family. We had just made a verbal agreement with a salesman from another company for a lot in a different development, that salesman went on vacation and our lot was sold to someone else. This made us decide to buy a previously owned home instead of having one built; we simply went into the Homexx show home to get interior design ideas. Immediately we noticed the difference in Danny's approach, he simply introduced himself let us walk around and come ask him questions when we were done. The house was not what we initially liked, the lots were not what we were looking for, and so our initial interest was very low. Danny sat with us and it never felt like he was selling us, he simply explained how we could work together and customize our home to fit our description of "a perfect home". Not only is Danny extremely knowledgeable and helpful, he goes above and beyond any imaginable expectation one could have. He put up with tears, our stress, our worries (like I said a very stressful time to be building a home), and he really guided us from the moment we stepped foot into the show home until the moment we received the key and continues to the day to assist us. I never thought I could form a bond with a stranger the way I have with Danny, he has mastered not just the salesman aspect of his job, but the overall being a great person aspect that not many people have. We were so fortunate to have had Danny guide us in the right direction, his work ethic reflects who he is, and his dedication and commitment is something that will never be forgotten. He met us when my wife was pregnant and has watched our daughter grow and learn to walk in his show home! We were probably the most annoying clients, Danny showed up on my phone bill as one of my most contacted people... above my wife! But he always made us feel welcome to drop by, or call, or email. Regardless how many clients he had, or if he had prior commitments he always made us feel like we were a priority. Like I said this is not a sales pitch, if you are fortunate enough to choose Danny Perreault you will not regret it, and he will raise the standards for service in your life I guarantee that! At least 15 years ago we had our main bathroom basement…read morebathroom and en suite bathroom redone by Waterworks. We still couldn't be happier today (Nov. 2019) with the work they did. The renovation was done to our satisfaction on time and on budget. More importantly, we had a problem years later (caused by our teenage daughter) and Warren Jones quickly accessed parts that fixed our problem at no charge. Years after that our toilets needed replacement seals and no supplier in town knew what we were talking about. I finally contacted Warren Jones and within a few days, everything was fixed. They have been around a long time, and they know the value of customer service. I highly recommend this company, they recognize the value of a satisfied customer.

We are seniors, and so impressed with the upto date grab bars, shelves, and wooden fold down chair. So many tiles to choose from so nice to have help. The staff member who did a removal of bathtub, and installation of shower, was very, efficient and thoughtful. We were shown what he was doing and why. We were consulted about placement of grab bars and shelves, and shower head holders. The tile work is well done and looks lovely. The installer work a mask, and cleaned up after himself every day.
