This Speedway doesn't seem so speedy to raise their fuel prices…read more I'm not sure I would recommend this place or not. Since the demolition and remodel, I haven't been in the store. I buy a tank of gasoline and go next door to Rally's for food. In fact, I've probably never bought anything inside the old store because it was so busy and crowded. Their strength is their Speedy Rewards program. You get points on purchases and discounts and coupons on the other side. The company is quick to raise prices on gasoline, but this location out of the three in town is the slowest to raise prices. Maybe, this one has more business because of I-70. The good thing is that they have so many pumps and the pay at the pump works just fine, even asking for your Speedy Rewards card before you buy anything. Also, I've never had to go inside for a receipt, as the paper always seems to be sufficient. Competence is a virtue, right? I've been in the store several times now and they're very pleasant and try to help. The place is clean and the food is okay.

It is a huge bank of rollers, almost every one of them full of rotating meat. That's a large difference for being supplied by the same company. I stopped at this one today to pick up a polish sausage and a VitaminWater drink, as I had a coupon for the drink. After the pizza, I thought that they might have really bad sausages but Oscar Meyer is a good brand and it tasted just fine. The bun could have been steamed or toasted or something because it wasn't helping. I suppose I don't have the convenience store gene because I was making a mess trying to get the mustard out and once I got it into the bun, it ended up all over the place. I have the best luck. The employee at the register was friendly and tried to sell me some candy for extra points but it wasn't time for that. The store seemed okay inside and out, but the lot is just big enough to avoid an accident.

Prices are always in line with the rest of the world. But, recently there was an accident; a couple of cats drove through the pumps. They've rebuilt however they neglected to rebuild the roof/canopy over the pumps. So, I still go here, but not if it's raining! Who wants to pump gas in the rain? Not I!
