Me and a friend went for oysters. the price was great the oysters not. Hers (steamed over done) were not even the size of my little finger. Mine (raw) were covered in Ice when they are supposed to be on top of ice and were not loosened. Never again read more

Stay far away from this place. You get frisked when you walk in the door, and literally every server and bartender ignores you. There used to be a Murphy's Law in Myrtle Beach that had amazing service and fantastic wings. This is not that place. read more

Cheap drinks, decent service, a bunch of TVs and a jukebox. What more can you ask for? Place is a breath of fresh air after walking the strip. Definitely a locals bar but we were fine. Kept to ourselves, ran the jukebox and had a few mixed drinks. Nothing to write home about but we'd come here again for sure. read more

As a local, I have visited Murphy's Law on multiple occasions, and not once have I received AVERAGE service and wait times. Although they seem to be understaffed, there is no method to who get served next -- just randomly be in front of the bartender when he finishes the last customer and maybe you'll have a shot to get served. My friends and I had to split up over 3 separate spots to have a chance at closing our tabs. You will wait at least 30 mins for anything and watch people who got there after you get served. There are plenty of other spots to go, so just do yourself a favor and find another place! read more

Murphy's law was awesome! Irish sports bar, perfect combo!! Nice tv's everywhere with all types of sports on. We ordered a bunch of food, from appetizers to entrees. Everything was delicious. Good place and good people. Food is okay; the burger is simple but fantastic. I have a singular incident that upsets me. They have TouchTunes. I played a song to remember my mother after she passed and the bartender didn't like it, so they shut it off. if I'm paying for overpriced drinks and okay food, at least let me hear my song. read more

The steak for $13 on Friday after 5 was not worth my money, the sides are limited, they don't even offer a side salad with the steak! It was way more fat on my steak than there was meat, the waitress was nice but clueless, not going back for steak, not even gonna get into the fish and chips!! read more

I've been here plenty of times I'm a local. We came tonight cause post Covid it's one of the few that's open past midnight. We got our first round of drinks and watched a cook come out and literally finger a waitress. The cook then walks back to the kitchen to continue cooking. Stopped in for a beer and wings on a Friday nite, watch some NCAA b-ball. Had quite a full crowd, but I found a spot at the bar. Nothing interesting on tap, they had most of the standards. I had a coldsnap, it was very cold and quite fresh- no stale beer here! The wings were kind of skinny, but tasty. From my seat, I could see 15 TVs and I know there were about 15 more in different locations. Great spot to watch sports! They also have video games, pool, darts and other fun things to do. We came here for lunch on a friday, my first time here. At first there was no one else here, but then about 8 people came in. They have a good menu, lots of sandwiches, some fish etc. no steaks. The same menu is used for lunch and dinner. They have some lunch specials. Service at the bar was great from a friendly bartender, Donna. The food was good and drinks were good. They have a huge bar, maybe sits about 20 people. The interior is pretty large. They have trivia nights and karokee at 10. read more

Every time I go there, you would think I was invisible. Tonight I sat there for 25 mins and had to change my seat to the other side of the room to get someone to ask me if I wanted to order something. Of course by this time I was 5 mins into the "late night" menu and couldn't order what I wanted. Paid for my drink and went to McDonalds. If McDonalds has better food and service than Murphys Law the owners should be embarrassed. If I could give 0 stars , I would. First, the place was more or less empty , except for us and a few "regulars". Second, the wait staff completely ignored us as we sat down. We had to walk an ask to get our menus. The wait staff completely ignored us for more then 10 minutes. Finally, we went up to the entire group of wait staff just laughing with the regulars ..we asked politely for our server. About 5 minutes later, a young man nonchalantly walks over to us. He casually whispers to himself " what you all want "? We ask if he is our server . He says "uh yea". We order and he snatches our menus from us as we hand him them them all together. After a minute, we decide to cancel the order because of how we are treated. As we go to cancel, they are talking badly about us wanting to order food. We quickly leave and will not return. I have never been treated so poorly. The service was terrible. read more

I went to this bar with my daughter yesterday, Sunday 9/16/18. We got there about 4:30pm. When we got there. We chose a booth, I asked a waitress near the booth to please turn on our football game on the big TV near our booth. We sat there for 16 minutes (timed it) and we never got waited on. We got up and left. Terrible service!! Plenty of bars around to watch our games, we will not be back to this one! read more

Used to love this place but past 2x we have been there service has definitely gone done hill. Took forever to order food and my fiance ordered a sandwich with a side of au jus only to be told they were out of it as food was brought. Then no silverware or condiments were offered. Walking in, place is about 3/4 full... thought that was a good sign. I ordered a bacon cheese burger well done with curly fries and my girlfriend ordered a reuben with refular fries. My burger some how was burnt on the outside and literally raw on the inside, but my curly fries were good. My girlfriends reuben was mediocre she said, and her french fries oddly seemed as though they were microwaved rather than fried she said so i tried them and they were gross, which like i said is weird because my curly fries were on point despite the raw burger. I have never returned a food item but i had no choice but to do so here. I returned my burger and ordered boneless medium wings, i think the cook tried to be funny because i asked for crispy and they are so well done you would break a tooth if your teeth have any weakness to them... and they are beyond mild wings even though i asked for medium, and are laying in a lake of oil. The bathrooms are the worst i have ever seen, my girlfriend looked like she had seen a corpse when she came out of the ladies room because the condition were so deplorable. Pretty much have nothing good to say about this establishment other than the server was nice and the sound system sounded okay with the football game on. Do not go here... If you actually get service the food isn't bad.. But it is not worth the horrible service. I was a regular till tonight. After enduring waiting 30 minutes per drink order at the bar witch is normal regardless of how busy... I precede to leave the bar and as I walk out the server/ bartender who usually wears the New Jersey hat, curses at me for accidentally almost running into him as I turn around... Complete accident and he F bombs me... I run one of the largest complexes in the area and I will no longer be including this establishment on my restaurant list. DO NOT GO HERE. NOT EVEN FOR A BEER. If there was a minus option for this review... That is what this place would receive. It's not because of the service or the hospitality. The servers and bartenders here have been nothing but great the very few times I have been here. The owner on the other hand, is an absolute pig. I don't care if he is drunk or owns the hole in the wall of this establishment. When you are sitting with customers of your business and are hearing the apparent conversions around you..... Then you have the nerve to disrespect a couple who is there by hitting on a woman who is married and much younger than you and could probably be your daughters age. Shame on you.... And congrats that you have managed to grow the balls to talk to a MUCH YOUNGER WOMAN after you have been drinking. Will not be returning here.
