The epidemy of elegance is how I would describe this museum. We came here with our guide Marco as one of several historical landmarks we set out to see today. There was only one other patron in the museum, and much to our shigrin, we learned that Sundays there is no admission at all. This museum really focused more on paintings and less so on sculpture art. Our guide Marco was pretty familiar with the museum already, and he led us around to the most interesting sections. Indeed everything was interesting to the two of us, and much of the art was so local to the Mexican county, one would be hard pressed to find anything similar in the United States. I would recommend this museum to any tourist in Mexico. The cost of admission is well worth the experience. read more
