After touring the Pitti Palace make sure you leave time for the Boboli Gardens and touring the beautiful grounds. If you make it to the top of the Boboli Gardens you will be rewarded with not only the best view of Florence you will also be able to enjoy the Porcelain Museum nestled next to the rose garden.
It was like hopping in a time machine and imagining grand twelve course dinners being served to the royal family served on one of kind ornate china. China with a scalloped edge, gold trimmed tea cups, and intricate hand painted designs that transcend beauty. I was mesmerized by the attention to the detail and the deep colors used.
