        Our club suits those of 16+ years who want to learn either Karate, T'ai Chi, or both martial arts in a calm, aggression-free atmosphere. Most of our students study both martial arts as complementary disciplines, but both are strong in their own way and can be practiced separately. Our club is not just for fitness fanatics. You will gain fitness from training, but you don't need to be fit to join! Our instructors have over 100+ years of experience between them and we have never had a student fail an exam! We are a not-for-profit club, all fees are fed back into the club for hall letting, equipment, member's travel and social events PLUS - The first lesson is FREE!

        History

        Established in 1987.

        We practiced our martial arts in 17th Kingswood Scouts Hall for around 15 years, and before that Rodway School, which was later renamed to Mangotsfield Upper School. We now practice at 37th Kingswood Scouts HQ.

        5th Dan Practiced karate since 1983, Yang style Tai Chi Long Form since around 1985 and Chen style tai chi long form since around 1989.
