Items are a little more pricey, but there's such a great variety and such quality items that the prices are worth it. Plus, the lady gave me a good deal when I bought four items. :) You'll find a good variety of clothing, books, videos and DVD's, knickknacks, dishes, etc. I found an adorable miniature china dog--an unusual little white one, not your typical granny-knickknack--that I think one of my sisters will love. I also found a row of little hedgehogs that were all different, but sold together. Perfect for another of my sisters who collects hedgies. The ladies here are very friendly, chatty, and entertaining. It's one of my favourite charity shops so far, and I highly recommend it.

Just as you the round the bend next to the Grand Hotel you'll find yourself exposed to the sounds that time forgot, or on occasion some corny and unknown Irish comedian belting out unfunny jokes. They specialise in CDs for people who still think of the Beatles as being new fangled rock and roll so there's little of interest for me at the moment, but hopefully if I manage to survive another thirty or forty years then who knows?

They do a lovely range of wooden toys, puppets and Doll's Houses and some retro toys from the past like Paddington Bear or old fashioned Teddy's and Dolls. Whilst they may be considered as expensive, the toys are of excellent quality, unusual and rare - so in my opinion worth the extra money. Its a fascinating shop for both Children and adults - The Window displays are always very professional and anyone walking past would be hard pushed not to stop by and have a look in. Great for unusual gifts or hard to find toys - and a lovely place to spend time on a trip down memory lane!

She has even spent time showing me how to make models for the layout. It was a nice surprise to find her when she opened in the local town as I had spoken to other craft shops who although they sold the raw materials didn't seem to know how to use it. One of these days I plan on buying one of her models that she makes, I have my eye on a fairy door that she has in her shop window but although it's not expensive I need to be able to justify the money. I've edited this review as it asked me for additional details about parking (don't know why) so There is a large free public car park at Glasdir, the local business information centre, which is about 100-150 yards from Nikki's shop. I always park here rather than try for the parking spaces in the market square as it's much easier to find a space.
