I adopted a dog from this shelter and the staff were very rude to me.I took 2 days to visit the shelter and decided on one.She was n a cold room with a bunch of big dogs and she was only 22 pounds.No blankets to lay on the water to drink was so dirty and the place smelled so bad.Dogs laying in walking n their own feces was horrible.The director said they always have food out for them to nibble on thats a lie.The little dog I chose was n the corner and was so quiet and looked so scared.They released her to me be for she was spayed because the Dr couldnt make it due to the weather but had to take her back a week later to get spayed.1 week later I took her back to get spayed and the staff member took her out of my hands and was n a hurry to get me out of there and I had questions and she said ask the questions when I return to pick up the dog after spay.A few hrs passed by I got the call my dog was ready for pick up.I got to the shelter and again they were n a hurry to get me out of there.No paper work for after surgery care no dog tags and I said I want to talk to the Dr who performed the surgery.They said he was busy.They gave me no information on this procedure.I feel this place was not about the animals but the $$.See how many strays they can get per day and cha ching on the $$.If you adopt from this shelter please be prepared to be treated like crap.I did this to save a dogs life not to put more $$ in these peoples pocket. read more
