Mass service was typical as Catholic Churches. Inside of the Church was much bigger than I was expected and all seats pretty much were full. I will come back to join service mass again.

It is St. Isidore's Roman Catholic Church and Cemetery. A group of pine trees acts as a shield to what almost looks like a little English cemetery; very European, very quaint, the type where people might visit on a daily basis. Lots of little benches and bird feeders; very personal and perfect for our friend, now there. We know why he chose this spot. I give the Diocese, and the council of St. Isidore's a lot of credit for melding the old with the new. The property extends back to more current church and burial facilities. But the real charm is in that old time section with some pretty intricate stone work in its statues and carvings. Very serene, classy, and calm; a perfect place of peace.

They did away with Saturday…read moreservice completely and basically said if you move to Sunday 10:30am great! - if you cant , get out. They never discussed the change with congregation. The new leadership under Pastor Jay, just said we are doing this! you are a broken church, you have no choice. For people who worked on Sunday, went to Saturday service. not anymore. There was no discussing this issue. It was basically - too bad. This crushed alot of long time members. They were out. We are now looking for a new church home.

Right after our first service there, we were invited to lunch and had an opportunity to meet some fantastic people. We were welcomed into the Young Adult group right away. We look forward to coming every Sunday. The wedding ministry is very graciously helping host our wedding this October for free and we are so thankful to them for that. They even provide a pre-marriage course, a financial help course, and beautiful decor for our wedding.
