In 2019 I had to pack up my home and put it away in storage for awhile. The same year while I was away there was a major flood that came through the area. Hearing of the flood, and that even cars had been flooded and were in need major repairs. I was concerned to say the least, that my belongings in storage would have major water damage. To my surprise they were still as good as new upon my return. The facility is well trenched and if that flood didn't damage anyone's belongings there I don't for see any water damage happening in the future. My advise to anyone storing sensitive items, anywhere not just here, that you do your do diligence and properly prepare. Keep electronics away from the floor and saran wrap furniture to prevent humidity from getting into them and causing that funky mildew smell from effecting them. Over all, I'll be storing there again in the future.

They confirmed that the contract ended on 11/1 yet I still got billed. I finally just paid it to…read moreprotect my credit and get rid of them. But I rented it in my name for my mother so they had her information and mine. They they auto withdrew payment from her account and accepted payment from me so they got paid TWICE for a month they never should have billed for. I called to straighten this out and the woman said they have no records of any transactions anymore and to talk to new owner. (Again, new owner has no access to Kwiklock records) They seem to have great units but very poor management. They took no responsibility for these issues. Additionally, the woman who answers the phone is rude, interrupted me, would not listen. She was very patronizing to my mother, who is an older adult. I rented on my mother's behalf because she is legally blind and could not see the contract well enough to complete it. I told this woman at Kwiklock that and she talked to my mother as if blindness meant she was cognitively impaired. No understanding of disability at all. Again, do not recommend.

Mind you I used several storage spaces throughout my whole life I grew up in foster care so the only home I really had was a storage for my belongings. I paid my first payment and moved in. I was pregnant with my son and my young daughter. I had so many sentimental and memorable things in my storage like my dog's ashes my high school diploma pictures of my mother and I that she gave me and she no longer can replace. Even though I missed my second payment only my second payment of being there they immediately auctioned off my storage without even giving me a payment plan or a chance to pay it off. I will never ever recommend anyone going to this storage and I will make sure I let everyone know what they've done to me and my children and they stole my property and they sold it to someone else. Everyday I cry about my personal belongings that these people just threw out and didn't give any care in the world. I will never forgive them and I wish nothing but bad for their company and business. Just like they didn't care about me I certainly will never care about them. They worked with me to find the smallest truck that could still go the rest of the way and reserved it for me. When I couldn't find a ride to where the Uhaul was located, the person here called multiple people, including her own son, to help me out with a ride. When no one was available (including taxis), she drove me herself out of the kindness of her own heart. I was so touched by the service I received here. Thank you!
