I had purchased a session on groupon , so i had already paid by credit card for my services. To…read moreget an apointement I had to wait 1 month , and finally on august 16 , my apointement was for 09:30. I get there 15 minutes earlier, and the owner who was in her office with another employee seemed to be complaining about something , she sounded irritable . that is when she saw me standing at the reception, she was not happy I was there and said ."You are too early, I m not ready for you", .I was stunned by such a pleasant morning welcome. That s when I said. " Y ou know what , if you prefer I can turn around and go back home " ( My response caught her by surprise , because she seemed lost for words ).
"no, its just that I have some calls to return, so sit and I ll come get youat 09:30...", was her reply.
She then took my groupon certificats and went back in her office. She made all but two business oriented calls , then she called a personal friend and was complainingon how her granddaughter kept her up all night long . How she was tired from not sleeping all night and so on. She then realized she was loud and closed her office door.
She came get me at 09:45, this is fifteen past my scheduled apointement.
Strange behaviour, especially when it s from the owner of the spa.
Maybe she s above the clientele, and does not need the business to keep her spa running. Weird atttitude overall.
When she finally did come get me she asked I remove my sandals and put on her slippers. I followed her into the room where I was told to undress and wrap a towel around my body , and to lay down till she came back.
It is now 09:50am, she noticed I had my phone and told me to turn it off , and was taking the phone from my hands when I said to her, "I ll turn it off but the phone stays here with me," ....( when I initially purchased the plan , it was for a two hr session, which she renigged , saying there was an error , but my certificate stated the two hrs, maybe she did not want me to keep track of the time with my iphone, and that may be the reason why she was upset when I refused to give her my phone)
That angered her. It s obvious she was in no mood for customers this morning. And all things considered I was uncomfortable with her by now, and dont I m comfortable with her even touching me.
She then said that with my lash extensions and the steam facial I would lose my lashes. (Another reason not to provide me with my prepaid services) I was unaware of this , had I known I would not have purchased the session. I asked if she could do something else , and she was not willing to be accomodating. That is when I said to her....
"I think we started off on the wrong foot, it is quite obvious you are in no shape to receive me or any other customer today. You seem to be very hormonal, and I don t really appreciate you working on my body, and invading my personal bubble. You are a negative vibe and I do not think I will enjoy being tampered by someone who s negative today."
She immediately let me know I will not be reimbursed , and that she would call Groupon and tell them That I refused the session. I told her , she was out of place and that was untrue.
I said I will call my credit card and ask for a charge back and she can bet her sweet nappy I ll get reimbursed.
That is when she started to yell at me and say she did not want to dothe session , that she was cancelling ....and without refund.
On my way out I asked for my certificat, ...she refused to give it back, and isaid I would not leave unless she gave it back. She gave me one document , I asked for the other three. She said she recycled , I said thats not true , give me back my papers now! She wentand get them in the trash bin and handed them back to me.
It was 09:55 when I called groupon and got my credit card refunded.
If you have been to other spas , you appreciate being pampered , not beat up. This lady needs some anger management course it is clear she lets her emotions overtake her common senses. I would not waste my money nor time here . Very abusive towards clientele
