Typically I always wash my car as I am a detailer myself. But I just did not have time, so I decided to get a mobile car wash this time as I cannot stand my car being dirty. So I contacted MVP AUTO DETAILING as they have 5 star reviews. To start of with the pros: they were very fast in response time, flexible with scheduling, super simple to pay, and showed up on time. Now for the cons... he finished my car in 40 minutes, which I knew it wasn't going to be a good job as that is just super fast for 1 guy on his own. I observed him wash my car during the entire process to see how well they were going to wash my vechicle. When it came to the shampoo part, they used the same sponge on the entire vehicle without Wringing it out, not even once. The proper way to wash a car is the 2 bucket wash method to constantly wring out all the dirt and grime to keep from scratching the paint from swishing around the dirt on the sponge all over the vehicle. I could not stop but cringe as I saw him soap my car up. Next when it came to the drying process he was drying in every single motion possible. This is how swirls are formed on paint. He should be going side to side in one direction to help avoid this. Next, was the vacuuming of the inside of the vehicle which was a good job, no complaints their. I ordered the "deluxe wash" which states it comes with exterior wash, door jams, rims, and tires, windows, vaccum, interior wipe down, AND exterior wax OR interior mat shampoo. He did not ask if I wanted the wax or mat shampoo, so I assumed he would just do 1 or the either, which I did not mind. But he did not do the wax nor the mat shampoo!!!!! When he was all finished he let me know, quickly gave me my keys and left so fast!!! He did not even ask me to inspect the vehicle to make sure if I was satisfied with the job. So once he left, I inspected the car and it was still very dirty! Dirt and grime in the door jams, by the bottom of the vehicle, their was literally still dead bug guts/grime on the headlights, and wheels were filthy. Not to mention the vehicle was still very wet all around. Not sure if he uses soft water, which most detailers do. But if he doesn't this is how hard water spots form. I quickly grabbed my own towels and liquids to finish cleaning and wiping down my car from the remaining dirt, which is absurd as I just paid $65 to get my car a "DELUXE WASH." If you are someone who loves your car and takes care of the attention to detail to preserve the overall paint and body of your car, I cannot recommend this mobile car wash. It is a perfect car wash for those who do not care about the detail to their vehicles, and simply just want a fast wash to help make it look somewhat clean. Overall this experience was very upsetting and seemed like they do not care about the customers car. I was not expecting the best car wash in the world, but for the price definitely was expecting one better then the once I received today. Def needed a big car wash..... esp the inside. w 2 toddlers and a dog ( husky )... the inside of my car was pretty destroyed. Plus with the pandemic... haven't cleaned it in over 2 years. ( eeks ). Anthony and his partner came right on time and did a fantastic job!! I just got a regular outside wash which they did add a light layer of wax to afterwards... but the inside... SO clean! Ash and his coworker arrived on time, and after a quick intro, I handed him the keys and they did their thing. They washed the cars as they were parked on our busy street right in front of our house. My car was a disaster. It's a small car but it was so dirty I couldn't even really see anything. I went on MVPs website, booked it for the next day. I got the cheapest plan they had. So no bells and whistles. Two guys came at exactly 11am as promised, and my car looked like a brand new car in 20 minutes. Inside and out. They said they might have to clay the car because it was so messed up, and they did it without any extra charge. These guys are amazing and I would HIGHLY recommend them.
