Poseidon is the VERY BEST Aquarium Service we have ever had. They deserve a 50 STAR Rating. Jaren and his people are so knowledgeable professional and provide outstanding service. From our first contact with Felicia, the office manager you realize the difference in quality and professionalism. We have had our saltwater tank for over 12 years, therefore we have had a few tank service people. We had been having problems with our tank regarding losing all our corals and red algae. The last company we had was a retail store in Long Beach that does tank service. Over a 3 month period and a few hundred dollars in filters chemicals, water changes, the tank was as bad if not worse then when they started. Jaren who is extremely knowledgeable came in and within 1 visit diagnosed the problem, told us we did not need the filter the other company sold us and fixed the problem, within 1 week our corals came back. He also went and obtained the correct snails for the tank and took the time to bring them over to us and set them where they needed to be to eliminate the algae and did not charge for a service call. He is very quick to answer questions and his employees are knowledgeable enough that if they don't know the answer they will find out and Jaren will call us. As I stated, we have had our saltwater tank for over 12 years and Poseidon is the Very Best. I need to echo one of the reviewers, "It is rare to find an honest service person that you can count on." Felicia answered my inquiry promptly, I needed to get some work done on my tank fast and she organized for Jaren to come out the same day ( even though it was not promised, they tried their best to accommodate me and make it happen that same day). So this Jaren guy comes to my house. Spends hours here. I think everything is good. Then the next morning All my SPS coral is dead and my fish died. This guy ALK spiked my tank and I had to call my LFS to come over in an emergency that cost me $300 dollars. This kid has no idea what he is doing. All my coral is dead and 2 fish.
