I am writing this on behalf of my husband. He has been going to this pharmacy for a few years now. Over a month ago, he picked up his prescription, from his Dr, that had 5 refills on it as he sees his Dr every 6 months. My Community Pharmacy has been filling this script for a while. When he finished the first month of his 6 month supply, he went on the APP to have his script refilled....it then said processing. He went to the pharmacy to pick up the second month supply, 2 days later, and was told that there were no refills. He looked at his bottle, and sure enough, written on the bottle were "0" refills. He complained and was told..."Sorry, you have no refills". Did they not have the original script to refer back to? My husband had to take time to then call his Dr and go to their office to pick up a new script, for the same medication. The script once again said 5 refills after the script is filled. Today, we went to My Community Pharmacy, with the new script, and waited for it. We took the bag outside and before we drove away, my husband looked at the bottle..."0/Zero" refills!!!!! AGAIN...THE SAME MISTAKE. He went back in to how them of their mistake, for the second time. They looked at the bottle..."0 Refills" and looked at the script...."5 Refills" Not even an apology. This is very concerning....their pharmacist is not on the ball. If this can happen on something so simple, then mistakes can also be made with prescription strength, mislabeling or even the wrong medication all together. This is the only prescription he gets filled there as he likes this one particular generic brand, that our other pharmacy does not carry...otherwise, he would not go back. In the future, he will be making copies of the prescription and checking the bottle before he leaves the store....I suggest you do the same if you also go there. I hope the owner also reads this review and makes sure other more serious mistakes are not being made by those that work behind the counter. read more

Extremely poor customer service I called Community Compound Pharmacy in West Palm Beach to ask a simple question about a prescription. The person who answered said I'd need to "find out," then put me on hold. I waited an unreasonable amount of time and was eventually disconnected by a recording saying the mailbox was full. I called back four more times. Each time the call went straight to hold music -- no greeting, no staff member, no opportunity to leave a message. They simply do not answer the phone. If you need reliable communication, this pharmacy is not dependable. Very frustrating experience. read more

Well, HOWARD IS GONE . Anyone who stopped coming here because of the Howard the pharmacist can start coming back. The pharmacist would say things about me asking for my script of Xanax. I only get a small dosage and when I would call to ask if a my script was ready he replied "Sounds like you need one now" and that was just rude. After reading some of the other reviews here it seems Howard was a bit rude to many people. I went back in here and they have a lovely pharmacist named "Orna" who I happen to know from another pharmacy. She is such a pleasure! If you had a bad experience in the past - come back, The staff is wonderful and typical mom and pop pharmacy. I walked in after not being there for a few years and they remembered and greeted me by name, got my script, figured out the little glitch with the cell phone number and I am happy to be using a Mom and Pop pharmacy. read more

This is a great pharmacy to get your medicine. They aren't a large corporation with employees who gave up long ago. Their staff cares. Their owner cares. The prices are excellent too. I have been filling the same Rx at this pharmacy for YEARS. Suddenly they will not fill this Rx unless I fill another Rx here also. I asked why this has suddenly changed after YEARS. I went in for the first time on Friday morning. I was in quite a bit of pain due to my knee. The gentleman, from pharmacy area, was helpful. I explained I am scheduled for a total knee replacement 9/13, but I'm really having difficulty with walking and pain until then. He picked 3 braces/knee support items for me to try on. I ended up with the most expensive one $72.99. I left, went to CVS and Sprouts. By that time my knee was throbbing and quite swollen. I removed the brace, spent the weekend icing, elevating and Monday morning 1000am took the brace back. At this time I was informed there is a No Return sign posted. I never saw that sign because my focus was on the person assisting me as well as it was on my knee. Furthermore I would NEVER have purchased something knowing I could not return it because I'm on a limited income and don't have money to throw away especially $72.99. There was no attempt to remotely help me in any way. To think they call themselves My Community, certainly not MY community! read more

The worst customer service experience. They make you feel less than and rarely say hello or acknowledge you when you come in. The owner Yana will not give me my pain meds. I gave her all my monthly meds 6+ as requested and she will not let anyone fill them. She keeps the meds in a safe locked up and only she can fill. Still don't know why. How can someone think it's ok to play God with my well being. What kind of pharmacist does this? I've had a fatal car accident, many falls, injuries, rotator cuff injury, injections in knees, caregiver for my parents for 5 years. I'm hurting and she don't care. Stay away from this pharmacy! The Pharmacist Howard Diamond is so nasty & mean. He made me feel like I was a POS! I told Johnny the owner & unfortunately he could care less. On top of that, one of the folks who were working there yelled out my name & prescription names! That's a HIPPA no no! I didn't report them but now I really think I should've. Buyer beware! I have been a customer there for many years and have ALWAYS been treated with the upmost respect from everyone there. And yes, I do get pain medication prescribed to me and not once have I ever been treated differently because of that, unlike CVS and Walgreens. Actually, quite the opposite! I walked in and felt like I took a step back in time in a good way. They greeted me immediately even though they were pretty busy. They filled my prescriptions in less then 20 minutes ~which is unheard of these days. I was also treated as if I were a regular and felt very comfortable. Everyone there couldn't have been nicer. When I had to drop off another RX the tech was so kind, I told her I could come back tomorrow and she said why make another trip..."what" I was so pleasantly surprised when she said it will only take 5 minutes and it did. When you are not feeling well and people treat you like you matter...well I can't say enough good things about a place, kudos! read more

A 1 star because I had to pick something ‍Covid tests are being gouged. 40$ each. My mom just came from radiation for cancer. We came in for cream. Were charged for 2 bottles instead of one. (No biggie they returned $ of one) then handing out COVID TESTS. After saying he had to many. And sitting boxes in middle of store.As though they were cheap. Owner said he was going to send his boxes of them back! Upon getting my mother home. And looking at reciept. I noticed she was charged 40$ ! each (3 boxes) total 120$. I Called immediately, left a message! Because her husband found them at sams for 14$. And we wanted to return the 3. Upon going in less than 24 hrs to return. I was told they couldn't take back because of the heat. In car with mother & myself for 5 minutes to pharmacy & 5 minutes back next day. they weren't in heat or I wouldn't of called getting home shortly after! But he can return them?! Price gouging! And taking advantage of cancer pacient. During a pandemic.Was a 120$ loss at Christmas. Horrible thing to do!! never again! read more

I have shopped RX prices and was very surprised to find them to be cheaper than any other pharmacy including Costco. Which is important to me due to no insurance coverage. As you can see from other posts on Yelp that Mr. Howard Diamond's obnoxious retorts, if you are on pain medication from a legitimate doctor, even a doctor that refers you to him, Mr. Diamond will treat you like garbage. First he will make sure you send all your scripts to him, then tell you he is out of medication or does not feel like filling said scripts till whenever suits him. He does not care about his customers at all. Just read the other posts. We all cannot be saying the same story and lying. Six herniated discs, two bulging discs, sciatica, nephropathy in both my hands and feet, and on disability for it. I do not need to feel worse about taking pain medication then I already do. No thanks. You are rude to your customers, your staff and it is just wrong. Yes, your customers have to go somewhere else when you either refuse to fill said scripts due to your own laziness or out of that medication. Some people cannot wait passed 30 days for their medication. Sorry but not sorry. And saying I know who you are and saying something rude just proves your heinous actions to persons with disabilities. Shame on you sir. Update: I am filing a complaint with the Florida Board as an administrative complaint for retaliation and discrimination against persons with disabilities. read more

We do use them for almost everything unless I am having filled at work (hospital with outpatient pharmacy). Meds always ready, they will fill our prescriptions without us even calling then we get a call that they are ready. This is great service- the hometown feel. All of this and you would think I would give 5 stars. Reading other reviews, Howard also stands out as an issue. Sorry Howard, but you left a lasting impression. 5 years ago, our daughter had her 3rd back surgery @ 23y/o. ICU for a week, on a ventilator for 2 days. Went to fill her Rx and his comment was "Why does someone so young need so much pain medication?" I told him -not that it is any of your business but she had just had her 3rd surgery from T4-S1 and would appreciate it if you would just fill the meds. I understand the agreement they have/had re: dispensing of narcotics due to previous issues at the pharmacy but your job is to help the people coming in, not treat everyone like they only want the meds for the recreation. One bad apple should not affect everyone else who works here. Patient, polite and professional for everyone else. read more

The absolute worst experience I have ever had with a business. They treat you like a criminal even if you have your prescription verified multiple times. I even had my doctor take time out of his day to call the pharmacist directly, and they still would not fill my prescription due to a new "policy" that was put in place to discriminate against minors with adhd. Even though I had filled my prescription as recently as a month prior, they refused multiple times to refill my prescription unless I "had another prescription to fill". Unfortunately for me, I only have the one illness, so I didn't qualify for their new discriminatory policies. Whatever you do, stay far away from this place. The owner does not care about his customers, and told me in so many words to go love myself, and that they didn't want my business. Well, if you don't want my business that's fine, but hopefully this review will help others avoid the same issue. Schaefers drugs right down the road has fantastic customer service, and were able to help me with no problems. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS Update: I never came in to the store, this entire conversation happened over the phone, so clearly the owner is not only a shady business man, but a liar as well. Made myself a note late afternoon yesterday to write a review on this fantastic Community Pharmacy. I was in a bit of a rush yesterday and I wanted to give this review it's just this. This Pharmacy is exactly what every Community should have. I've been attending for about 5 years now and since day one I've been addressed by name, I receive phone calls when I am taking too long to pick up prescriptions, they've been proactively helpful when I've had issues come up with the way prescriptions were sent by the doctor's office, and notice that the owners are big into contributing to their community. Anybody in the Wellington and Royal Palm Beach area should give this Pharmacy one chance and you will see what I mean. My husband and i have been customers of Johnny at my community for about 8 years. They have consistently yreated us like family. About 5 yrs ago they got a pharmacist, Howard Diamond. He has made any business we have with the pharmacy, a pleasure. He's kind smart and on top of his game. If we need something that they don't have, he will make sure you have it by noon the next day.He looks put for you telling you what you will need and has it ready for you before you even know you need it. We now live 45 minutes away from the store and still visit monthly for our mamy medications. This has been my pharmacy for the past 4 years. I have met all of the staff and they have all been the same guys since the day I moved over from Walgreens. I can't express enough how outstanding they all are. They all know me by name and are always on the lookout on how to save me money.
