At first I really liked the experience here but today speaking with Lupe in the billing department was horrible!! I am out of bp medication called for a refill they stated I needed and appointment the set me up with a video appointment. I e check in and it needed my co pay I pay and it removed from my account but it would not let me log on. I call the office 4-5 times and I will assume it was disconnected. Finally Lupe from billing gets on and states I owe a bill as if I was running. It was supposed to be taken out of my account plus I have insurance. But I really need my meds. She then states well they can't take your bp over video so rude and uncaring in the medical field!! I get it if you feel I owe we can work it out but I need to get my medicine which is priority. That's like going to the emergency and they say no we can't see you. I have insurance. I asked if I can file for a complaint and she said yes on the app. As I was in the process of writing and uploaded pictures of my account reflecting the payment made an error code stating my account was disabled and removed then a text saying I no longer had access!! That is so unprofessional!! All my test results a my prescriptions mamagram, cardio test everything I have no access to!! Is she even allowed to do that? I've been coming to this location for years but their customer service this time around was really disappointing. I went in for an annual physical and they let me know that I would get my results in about a week. I missed the call and the person leaving the voicemail, Heather, did not even know the call back number. In the voicemail, there were long pauses after each attempt at the number and I could hear her searching through papers for the number. I called about 10 mins after I received the call and the person I spoke to could not find what the information was so she said I should be good to go. The next day, I got another voicemail stating they needed to provide information so I called back and was told that I needed to schedule an appointment so they can give me my results. The day of my appointment comes and I get there 15 mins early and was required to pay a copayment which I asked why I had to if I was just there to get my results and the receptionist stated it was because they were going to "see me". After waiting for about 30 mins, they take me back to my room. I wait some more and the doctor sees me for a max of 5 minutes, gives me my results and said I was good to go. It was just a big waste of my time and money when they could have just told me everything over the phone. read more

I was not excited when my neurologist told me it would be 75 for them to complete FMLA paperwork. I called my doctor now, who had done the original nurerology referral, and was able to get an appointment same day and for only 25.00 (!!!). I make a quick and easy synopsis of my issues, gather up my PT appointments, OT, carpal tunnel, my tests and scans. Once I'm in the room, Solanch Tangap comes in and asks how much FMLA I want. I was baffled, no one who filled it out before has ever asked me that. The professional is supposed to make that determination. She went on, "once a week? Twice a week? Every day?" I didn't know how to answer. I can have flare ups/appointments/problems every day, some putting me out for half an hour and some lasting days. I showed her my paperwork, all the items she needed to fill out the FLMA paperwork. She took the first page of PT appointments and told me to keep the rest. When she asked if there was anything else, I asked for a flu shot, a prescription to provide my employer for an ergonomic workstation assessment, and a note to wear supportive shoes for my back issues. I was told that they would do the paperwork and the shot. They would not help with the ergonomics recommendation or the shoe waiver. She said didn't have the time to write my paperwork plus two additional prescriptions and log it all. I told her that was ridiculous. I didn't really feel like a good bedside manner was presented. When the paperwork was handed over, not even all the questions/spaces has writing. It didn't list my reasons I would take FMLA (Specific issues have to be defined, if they aren't defined and I need to use leave, my employer could (will) deny it.) I sent it back. She made the front desk person go back and forth to ask me when my condition started, which she would have known if she looked at my records She filled out more. Sent it back. I reviewed it. The questions weren't answered fully. I refused to pay for it. It would have been immediately rejected by my employer as incomplete anyway. What a colossal waste of time and terrible experience. I visited on 4/25/22 for the complaint of a swollen tonsil. The PA came in, took a quick look in my throat and said I had an absess. Never asked the question as if it was painful. Gave me a script for antibiotic and medrol dose pack. The exam took about 5 minutes. Before I finished the meds. I realized I was not improving and went to a ENT. Long story short I ended up with the diagnosis of tonsil cancer with Lymphoma. Now on my 3rd round of chemotherapy. I am also frustrated with the fact that they charged me for a Depression Screen and a Emotional/Behav. assesment, which they did not do!!!. My insurances refused to pay but they tried billing me. A minor point is that I had an appointment, waited more than an hour with know one saying " sorry for the wait." Never going back to this location!! I have never written a review but feel that others need to be made aware of the inadequate care offered at this facility. read more

I have a hard time writing this review as I have been treated by some good providers however there is one provider that I continually run into and it's finally time I review her. This provider is Glory Budhu she lacks bedside manner. She does not take the time to listen to her patients, when I tell her my symptoms and complaints she then tells me no this is what your feeling. How would she know what I am feeling she is not in my body. I have spent an hour or longer in a room waiting to been seen by her and when she comes in she has spoken or treated me in a five minute period. She is horrible and I do not understand why she is still a provider with Mydrnow. Also lord forbid you need a copy of a payment or something because I have called billing six times for the same bill and have never received it. Don't get me wrong they do have some amazing providers such as Nicole Johnson she is detailed talks about a treatment plan and is real when she communicates. It's just the run ins with Glory that leave a bad taste in my mouth. Please address her as she is rude and lacks care for her patients. This was the worst experience ever. I went in with flu like symptoms after going into a hospital last week. I was tested for strep last week and it was negative. I went in for a follow up and to get further testing . This doctor didn't even have a flash light to look in my throat. He then did testing and stated that the result had a very very faint line and so he "assumed" I have strep throat (even though I don't have a cough) I requested to have lab work done seeing as though it's the beginning of the year and this could be anything and this provider tells me "maybe next time" ..... how could you deny a patient lab work knowing your strep test results were inconclusive and you didn't even LOOK at the inside of my throat. This was a waste of time. I don't feel like I have strep. I feel like I have something bigger going on and this provider at this office didn't listen to a word I said. I visited the location in Laveen (51st Ave and Baseline) where I saw Nurse Practitioner Solanch Tangap. I originally went specifically for Vyvanse which is used for help with binge eating disorder (BED) according to the Vyvanse.com website. I brought this up to Ms. Tangap who stated this medication is not intended for BED. I asked politely for her to please look it up because it says right on the website that it is in fact use for this disorder. She became unpleasant refused to look it up and instead left me with a diagnosis of depression, ADD and anxiety and prescribed Welbutrin and proceeded to scold me about working out and eating healthy. After her diagnosing me as crazy, I thought "well she's the professional, maybe I have these issues" (I really don't care what the diagnosis is as long as I can stop binge eating). So I tried the Welbutrin but it made me absolutely sick (light headed-ness, stomach cramping and couldn't do anything but sleep it off). I filed complaint with My Dr. Now via their online survey system, via phone and through an email provided to me by the staff. I believe she was actually being retaliatory because I questioned her almighty knowledge about what Vyvanse is for or not, and I came in for BED help and she gave me some wild tangent of a diagnosis all in 10 min when really a psychologist or an actual doctor would take more time to make such a determination. I was told I would receive a follow up email after messaging a specific email address, but got no response from her superiors. Her willful refusal to look up the drug and her demeaning comments about my life summed up that she was having some kind of bad day and taking it out on me (ie: I said "I might be doing too much in my life" because I am in a master's degree program, work full time and a mom and I use food to often calm my anxiety about deadlines to which she said "there's no such thing as doing too much" and proceeded to scold me about eating right and exercising more). I don't believe my 10 minutes with this lady gave her enough information to diagnose me with depression and ADD (anxiety yes because I did say I have been anxious about all my deadlines). I never once mentioned I was depressed - she simply wanted to refuse prescribing Vyvanse because I said she was wrong in assuming it wasn't used for BED and asked her to look up. She let her ego supersede her objective as a professional. I am also filing complaint with the Nursing Board because people like this can seriously hurt people. That Welbutrin made me feel completely ill and I also don't feel I should pay for a visit where I came for help and only ended up walking out with a flippantly patched together diagnosis and medication that made me ill. I don't recommend this company as a whole if it protects conduct of its staff who do things like this so I'd recommend trying your luck elsewhere. read more

I had no issues with MyDrNow until recently when they changed providers. I had to see Solanch Tangap and my experience has been a headache ever since. I'm diabetic and rely on my medication, but I'm going on a week without it because of her. She decided to change my prescription to a different medication without properly checking if both my primary and secondary insurance would cover it. I even told the MA to have her take a second look to make sure because I didn't want to run into problems, but yet here I am. I've called MyDrNow plenty of times since then and I just keep getting the run around. I can't speak for the other providers at this location, because I've had a few that were great, but I'm definitely looking for another doctor's office ASAP! read more

In the world of the 15 min visit, It seems very rare for a doctor to actually be able to understand how you truly feel when you're hurting or be able to diagnose your symptoms in such short time. That's why I've always felt like going to the doctor was a joke and really didn't take my health seriously because I didn't think that I would get much help other than meds to be prescribed. However, I am so happy to admit how wrong I was about "ALL" doctors! Not all doctors just look at you as them doing they're jobs for a paycheck - I know this because I was blessed with an angel by the name Dr. Valerie Miranda! I first stumbled across My Dr Now on Halloween day 2017 looking for a doctor close to my home that was in my health insurance network. I went to the location on 51st Ave & Baseline maybe an hour before they were to close rushing there from work in Tempe with a massive headache and dizziness. When I arrived, not expecting much because It was a small office I was greeted by a nice young lady whom told me what to do since I was a walk-in, what paperwork to fill out and told me that someone would be with me soon. I was called to the back within 20 mins if I'm not mistaken. I was taken to the back by another nice and funny lady (I hate I forgot her name) whom took my vitals and asked me for the reason I needed to be seen. I was then introduced to Dr. Miranda! From the first sight of her I knew I was going to be taken care of because she just has that look about her. I spoke with her for sometime and from the start she was very nice and helpful. Like most doctors she did prescribe me some meds however, she started a plan with me as well starting with a follow-up appointment and going from there. Since then I have been seen several times by her (and I only want to see her) as well as I have seen several specialists from her referrals that has been great as well. She is helping me try to get to the bottom of what is going on with me and I appreciate It with all my heart! Because I am allowing these professionals access to my most important possession, my body, I need to feel a personal connection to the physicians I see. There must be trust between both parties in order to form a partnership that will lead to a satisfactory plan to improve my health. I value, trust, and feel comfortable with Dr. Miranda both personally and professionally. I count on her for ongoing advice, expertise, help, and medical guidance. I can appreciate the time It takes to see her because I value the time she spends with me to make sure we have all bases covered in my health plan (15 mins can't do that). In closing, I know that there is a lot of negative reviews out here about My Dr Now but let me be the first to say that Dr. Valerie Miranda is definitely by far a true blessing to me and most definitely an asset to the My Dr Now Family and I hope they know this. If you want a doctor whom actually cares and you need to see It then you need to see Dr. Miranda with My Dr Now!!! She has set the bar so much higher for all doctors that I can't and won't accept anything less!!! Thank you Dr. Miranda and your team! Y'all are the best! :-) read more

Doctor spent 7 minutes in the room with me. Prescribed me medicine and walked out. Received a $190 bill from them weeks later although the front office explained that the visit would cost me $0 with my insurance. If the front office told me that even $20 was due at the time of visit, I would've walked out. Not because I don't want to spend money, but only because I I hate spending money for something that's not worth it. They don't know how to treat sick patients and they definitely don't have great doctors. If you're sick, don't come here. If you're a recent med school grad with 0 years of experience and absolutely no care for your patients, apply here for a job. read more

I went here after I was bitten by my cat. Receptionist was friendly and helpful, and I was taken back to a room within 15 minutes of arriving. However, once in the room I waited over 30 minutes to see the doctor. This wouldn't be a problem, but I could hear him flirting with the nurses and swapping nurse stories the entire time. What a supreme waste of my time to listen to him brag about how the female nurses love him, while I'm waiting to be treated for my medical issue. Once in the room, he told me I needed the wrong antibiotic and had to "double check" before giving me an Rx for a different one. The nursing staff is the absolute rudest i have ever encountered. Roberta was my sons nurse as i took him in to get a covid test. I had called ahead of time to verify the procedure of the test to which I was told that the q-tip was not inserted as far up into the nostril as it was for adults to ease the pain for children. Roberta had ZERO bedside manner and her whole attitude and demeanor made it seem like she hated her job. Just a miserable person. My son is 8... the first words to him were " step on the scale." No "hi, how are you?" No nothing like that. No smile, no pleasant tone. Just a very direct " step on the scale." She asked me a few questions regarding my son, but would interrupt me and speak over me while i was answering the questions. After being seen by solanch, Roberta returned to administer the test. She came in and all she said was "pull down your mask". ( to my son) grab the qtip and shoved it up his nose which made him jerk back. She reacted as if she was Annoyed, and just stood there with the qtip. No reassurance or encouragement of any type to my child. Did not even address him. My son was like shaking his head no so i kindly asked Roberta "is there any way that you could use the sample that you have there? " She huffed, shrugged her shoulders, put the qtip in the container and said "well we're supposed to get both nostrils but whatever I guess you're done then." And walked out of the room. How was i supposed to know that as she did not explain the process of anything to me or my child. I just sat there for a minute like wtf just happened here? To make matters worse, my son had an earache in both ears for the rest of the afternoon because of her abrupt jabbing with the qtip. I have fostered over thirty children and have had my fair share of doctors visits and have NEVER been treated so rudely. Normally doctors will explain the process of what they will be doing to ease the patients anxiety. Roberta acted annoyed and miserable for the entire duration of our visit and because of her lack of communication, i dont even know if the test is even valid. I will never go back there. Just to note, i have been there several times because solanch has been our doctor for years and we appreciate her services, but the entire nurse staff is rude. Ive noticed it for a while but continue to go to see solanch. However this was the last straw. I will take my business elsewhere where we are valued as people and treated with kindness. Terrible! Office was not clean. I had to wait 25 minutes to meet with the NP (I had an appointment) because she was talking to one of the doctors who does house calls. He was getting supplies and I could hear the entire conversation in the waiting room. There were no other patients there. After I met with the NP, she left the room to make copies. I could hear her telling the Other people about my issue and how it's likely that I have cancer. She didn't say anything to me, just to the others in the office. All I can say is run now, and run far. You never see same provider twice, they don't read your chart. My husband went in with symptoms that couldn't be explained, he was diagnosed anemic, at 50 and otherwise healthy. They told him to go home and eat a steak. After multiple visits back we finally demanded a referral to a GI Dr, that doctor heard the symptoms and immediately knew what it was. I think the staff needs a definition and a good class on what good customer service is. For example, when one has an appointment and one has been waiting 1 hour, it is customary for a member of the staff to inform the patient the status of their wait time. After waiting one hour I left. Don't Go. My mom went as we are newer to Arizona and haven't found a PCP. So she went. They aent her for test...etc...she went back to get her results...they would NOT see her! WHY? They had sent out a bill the day before...and it hadn't been paid yet...my mom hadn't received it...so can't pay a bill you haven't gotten...she had full plans on paying it the following Friday... her payday...nope wouldn't see her! They never did give her the reaults. She went to a better DR and they got the results for her. (because inaurance covered that part 100%) We had an appointment with them. We were early...ended up waiting over an hour before we finally said screw it and left.. Sitting in their small waiting room with 3 kids... If you care about your health...go elsewhere. read more

I'm giving four stars to Dr. Williams because I like him. He is a good listener and offers sound feedback and good care. I live in Laveen, but normally drive to Scottsdale for health related matters. However, as funny and cool as my Scottsdale doc is, and the fact that he treats celebrities, it still doesn't make up for the 1.5 hour round trip and the 2 hour waiting game in his office. I finally got fed up with it and found Dr. Williams, who is literally 3 minutes up the road from my house. I've not been happy in the past with some if the practices at MyDrNow (like only getting one month scrips so they keep you coming back in each month for chronic issues that require meds), and I haven't always been happy with some of the care providers, but this guy is a good doctor, and very likeable so I don't see any reason not to book appointments here for unexpected/new issues that require immediate care. I use their app and I easily get appointments, usually for the same day, and I preregister, check in and pay on the app, too, so it's easy. The young lady at the front does her job well and she is cool and nice to me. The tech is professional and kind. The whole place needs a deep cleaning, but otherwise it's acceptable, and it's nice not driving 45 minites to my longtime doc in SD. read more
