I've been dealing with itchy bug bites from our camping trip and decided to finally get them checked out. I was greeted by the receptionist who was sweet. No one was in the waiting room and all the paper work was done by using the link they texted me with. There was a lot of questions and surveys to complete in order to check in so beware of that. Without insurance I paid $99 to be seen. The nurse practitioner listened to all my complaints. Overall, everyone was friendly and helpful!

At first I really liked the experience here but today speaking with Lupe in the billing department was horrible!! I am out of bp medication called for a refill they stated I needed and appointment the set me up with a video appointment. I e check in and it needed my co pay I pay and it removed from my account but it would not let me log on. I call the office 4-5 times and I will assume it was disconnected. Finally Lupe from billing gets on and states I owe a bill as if I was running. It was supposed to be taken out of my account plus I have insurance. But I really need my meds. She then states well they can't take your bp over video so rude and uncaring in the medical field!! I get it if you feel I owe we can work it out but I need to get my medicine which is priority. That's like going to the emergency and they say no we can't see you. I have insurance. I asked if I can file for a complaint and she said yes on the app. As I was in the process of writing and uploaded pictures of my account reflecting the payment made an error code stating my account was disabled and removed then a text saying I no longer had access!! That is so unprofessional!! All my test results a my prescriptions mamagram, cardio test everything I have no access to!! Is she even allowed to do that? And she has access to all my personal information and documents. Unhinged people should not work in helping fields!!! Now my bp is really high having to deal with that type of behavior.

I was not excited when my neurologist told me it would be 75 for them to complete FMLA paperwork. I called my doctor now, who had done the original nurerology referral, and was able to get an appointment same day and for only 25.00 (!!!). I make a quick and easy synopsis of my issues, gather up my PT appointments, OT, carpal tunnel, my tests and scans. Once I'm in the room, Solanch Tangap comes in and asks how much FMLA I want. I was baffled, no one who filled it out before has ever asked me that. The professional is supposed to make that determination. She went on, "once a week? Twice a week? Every day?" I didn't know how to answer. I can have flare ups/appointments/problems every day, some putting me out for half an hour and some lasting days. I showed her my paperwork, all the items she needed to fill out the FLMA paperwork. She took the first page of PT appointments and told me to keep the rest. When she asked if there was anything else, I asked for a flu shot, a prescription to provide my employer for an ergonomic workstation assessment, and a note to wear supportive shoes for my back issues. I was told that they would do the paperwork and the shot. They would not help with the ergonomics recommendation or the shoe waiver. She said didn't have the time to write my paperwork plus two additional prescriptions and log it all. I told her that was ridiculous. I didn't really feel like a good bedside manner was presented. When the paperwork was handed over, not even all the questions/spaces has writing. It didn't list my reasons I would take FMLA (Specific issues have to be defined, if they aren't defined and I need to use leave, my employer could (will) deny it.) I sent it back. She made the front desk person go back and forth to ask me when my condition started, which she would have known if she looked at my records She filled out more. Sent it back. I reviewed it. The questions weren't answered fully. I refused to pay for it. It would have been immediately rejected by my employer as incomplete anyway. What a colossal waste of time and terrible experience. Upsides: every other person in that office was pleasant and professional, and my flu shot didn't hurt.

When scheduling, I was told that an asthma test could be done. However, after waiting several weeks for the appointment, I was told in the office that "there is no such test" and that they could not evaluate her in the way I was originally informed. This is even more frustrating because at a previous appointment four weeks ago, I was told only one issue could be addressed per visit and that I needed to schedule a second appointment to handle this concern. I followed those instructions, made the second appointment, and still received no answers or proper evaluation. My time was wasted, and the appointment felt completely unprofessional and unorganized. Families deserve accurate information, proper communication, and respect for their time--none of which I received during this process. I hope the office improves its communication and scheduling practices so other families do not experience the same issue.

They kept saying "it's just colic". I changed providers and that one suggesting trying different formulas and wasn't making sense or listening to me when I said we had already tried cutting out allergens. I was also concerned because my baby was bruising easily and quite pale, and I was severely anemic at the time of delivery, I thought maybe she was too. They kept refusing to draw blood and then they finally did and told me "hemoglobin is within normal range". I didn't believe them and asked for the number. 9.0. I ended up utilizing some online resources that suggested my baby 1- had silent reflux or GERD, and 2- was definitely anemic as hemoglobin of 9.0 is not normal. We ended up changing to the Park West location and I really had to twist the doctor's arm to prescribe my baby famotidine or omeprazole as a trial. That doctor became nasty with me and said "if you're willing to chance the side effects then fine". My baby was in severe pain, not sleeping and losing her voice. The famotidine prescription changed her life. She was no longer in pain and turned into a happy baby. Additionally WIC suggested enfamil AR - pleasant peds never mentioned this - and that helped immensely as well, plus the anemia subsided. At our final visit the doctor suggested we allow our baby to scream and cry inconsolably for a night or two to make her sleep thru the night and told us not to feed her until morning even if she wakes to eat. She was an infant at the time. We walked away and never looked back.
