Maya is very very patient, supportive, professional and always cheerful. It's a pleasure to have her work with my daughter. TL;DR: Under-resourced and unsafe. I took my two…read morepreschool-aged kids here for a trial class with the intention of signing them up for weekly classes. My initial impression of the gym was that the space seemed small compared to the amount of equipment in it. There also appeared to be many kids and few adults. 10 minutes into class, I took my 3 year old to the bathroom. I came back to find my 5 year old bleeding from a head wound with the teachers holding tissues to her head. She was struck in the forehead with a trapeze bar and needed stitches. I was completely dumbfounded as to how this could have happened with two adults supposedly teaching the class. Clearly, if there was ANY danger of someone getting hit by a swinging bar, there should have been an adult present to ensure the kids waiting their turn were a safe distance away. Obviously, at the time, I was focused on getting my daughter out the door and to a doctor, but I was never offered any type of bandage, ice, gauze, or medical assistance. My husband went to Flippers the next day to express his concern about the situation. He asked where the first aid kit was and was never shown it. He also spoke with the owner on the phone, asking what type of changes might be implemented to prevent this type of thing from happening again. The owner apologized for what happened and offered additional free classes but was wishy washy on what, if any change, would be made. At one point, she chalked it up to a "freak accident" and essentially blamed my daughter because "she wasn't used to the routine."

When she doesn't want to participate in a certain activity she is never forced or critiqued for not doing it. If you want to sign up for an intermediate boys class only to have it cancelled a few sessions later and have to go back to Level 1 because there's no other option, go to Elite. If you want your classes to change days/times/coaches multiple times, go to Elite. If you want your child to be pushed into a level he's not ready for because the coaches need to fill the classes to make enough money, go to Elite. If you want your son to exercise, have fun, and learn new skills with coaches that care, look elsewhere.

Love this dance studio! They are so great with the kids and make them feel valued. My daughter…read morecame from a studio that was over crowded, didn't teach proper technique and would sometimes make her cry. Dance image studios has been there polar opposite of that experience! The teachers and owners are so invested in all of the kids and truly see to care. They laugh and joke with the kids and make it fun. Their competition teams are awesome, and they treat their recreational dance groups as if they have just as much value. Everyone there feels like they matter, and I haven't seen this at any other studio locally. They also do hop hop for boys, tumbling, and a special needs class that is completely free. I loved that they did that special needs class, and they do not boast that they do it - but when a mom of one of the special needs kids told me it was completely free for them, I was even more impressed. It speaks volumes of the kind of people they are. They even include them in the recital which I love! I HIGHLY recommend this studio. My daughter absolutely loves it and it's been a stress free and happy experience.

This was perfect, the kids got to run around and play games. The price for the party packages are completely reasonable. We got the package that came w the instructor it was absolutely worth it. You get the gym and two party rooms. The only thing I didn't love is I showed up and didn't know where the room was and there was no one at the desk to assist me/answer any of my Qs and I didn't want to waste time, as I only get 15 mins to set up prior. There is plenty of parking in the back which is THE BEST. I also loved that we didn't have to pay anything the same day. We could just head straight home and they email me for payment arrangements the following day. I suggest you keep a list of the kids that come and play on the mat, sometimes it gets confusing for the instructor to know which kids are under 2yrs old (free) vs the rest of the kids and they charge you for it, but they are easy to work with when you go over any hiccups! I think this is the best place to have a party for the kids! Especially if you want to sit and relax for a moment while they play.
