Recently had my 3 year olds birthday party at My Gym. From the moment I booked the party, the staff was helpful, organized and kind. The communication was excellent and the staff truly thought of everything. On the day of the party Katie and Jen helped set up the decorations, keep the children engaged, and made sure my daughter had an amazing party. We've been going to My Gym weekly for about eight months now and my 2yo absolutely loves it. Being a Covid kid who hasn't gone to daycare, the consistency of the classes are great for him - always structured the same way, so he knows what to expect, but never boring. He gets his energy out and gets to be around other kids, and it's so nice having an indoor option when it's super hot or super cold out. The coaches are all kind, professional, and safe. I have been meaning to leave this review for a while! My daughter is 21 months and has been coming to the gym for about 4 months. She is very shy and took a while to open up in the beginning. Coaches Jen, Katie, and Kyle are always so amazing with her, including her as much as possible but also respecting her boundaries. The classes are fun, energetic, and structured well. We had my daughter's 5th birthday party here with 10 kids over the weekend. Everything was fantastic from start to finish. Coach Patrick and Coach Anthony are so warm and engaging with the kids. I wish I could take them home with us!! Lol. My daughter truly felt like a super special birthday girl. They started with independently playing in the gym, then coach Patrick drew them in with fun floor games, then they let the kids free play again for a few min, then they had a foam ball fight, zip line and lastly they had a "parade" where they put my big girl on a "float" and she lead the parade with kids marching and dancing behind her; ending with her in the center on the float and the kids sitting on either side of her so the parents could take a pic. SO cute!! After they were done playing Coach Patrick gave all the kids hand sanitizer before they sat down for pizza and cake. (Pizza was an additional cost bc of the package I chose and I brought my own cake). My kids haven't stopped talking about My Gym since the party and keep asking when we are going back. HORRIBLE Contractual Experience in Yorktown, NY Franchise! My wife in May decided to enroll our son at "My Gym" in Yorktown, New York. My wife while speaking to the Franchise owner (Chris) mentioned that our son was going to have surgery in late July and that we ONLY needed 2 months (June & July) because he would'nt be able to participate for a while because of the healing time. My son had "testicular Surgery" so you can understand why he could only do 2 months. So, Chris accepted the June and July ONLY and my wife wrote on the contract she sign (June and July ONLY) and Chris accepted it saying "No problem, June and July only"! The Gym also never gave her a copy of the contract she sign. Well, now we were double charged in August for $96 DOLLARS x 2 and now September another DOUBLE CHARGE! My wife spoke to Chris and he's telling her that she needs to come in a sign a cancellation document and needs to give 30 days notice, meanwhile he accepted the contract for June and July only which means my wife had already given him 60 days notice. Her calls to him were met with cheerful responses, like you need to come in to cancel, or meaning they hope you don't have the time to come in so they can keep charging you. My wife wanted to show them the statement that they are double billing and ask for a fax number to send the proof and suprisingly they don't have a fax machine. I believe now-a-days all 3 in 1 printers have fax built in the printer which is what I saw when I arrived there to discuss the situation with Chris and noticed the telephone line going into the all in one! Friday I went there with my wife and we discussed the situation for 20 minutes and again with the cheerful "No problem" all your money will be refuned. I mentioned to him that on the contract it says "JUNE AND JULY ONLY" and he said your right and our money will be refunded. Now its Monday and my wife received a call from Chris saying that he will not be refunding $96 dollars because of some crap in the contract. I was planning on returning next summer for my son but after this run a round I really don't think its good to do business with this company! This morning I called HQ of My Gym in CA and spoke to a lady that hopefully will put me in contact with a supervisor or manager of these franchise owners. This Yorktown, NY My Gym turned a great experience into a bad one. Think twice before giving them your hard earned money and I hope someone from the board of directors or someone in charge reads this post and maybe "Does the right thing". Hosted my kid's 1st Birthday party on Sunday and everyone had a great time! Coach Danny and the other coach (forgot her name) were amazing with the kids and they also seamlessly set everything up before the party. Booking the party was a breeze. They thoughtfully asked about what my kid likes and incorporated it into their games. Overall great experience and would 100% recommend this venue for toddler parties. read more

My daughter, 5, started coming her at 13 months old. My son, 2, started coming at 6 weeks old. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place, management, owner, coaches and over all program. My kids look forward to coming every week and to all the free plays. The attend PNO and camp here when available. My 2 year old does the warm up at home and the puppet shows. My 5 year olds physicality and confidence has grown because of the encouragement of her coaches. They teach sharing, taking turns, listening, balance and so much more. My daughter has had every birthday (her choice) here since she was 2. My son took his 1st steps at the gym. We feel like part of the family and look forward to many more years of fun! read more

My daughter has been taking classes at My Gym since she was since months old. We love the classes, we have seen my daughter grow so much each week she comes to a class. For a while she was timid to do things. Now with the encouragement of the great coaches she tries everything! My daughter is so comfortable at My Gym we decided to have her 2nd Birthday party there. So glad we did! From the minute we arrived Jen, Danielle, and Rosie were helping us bring things in, and set up. Jen and Danielle's enthusiasm through out the entire party was amazing that the kids didn't want to leave!!! After ownership change it's an amazing gym for my 2 year old son. He loves going and enjoys all the new weekly programs they have. Every week we go the gym is transformed and layout changes. It's fun for both parents and children. I highly recommend trying it out. I travel over 45 mins away just to bring my son here and have recommend friends who do the same. read more

I just had my son's 4th birthday party there on Saturday. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Had 8 friends and a handful of parents with smaller kids (my 1 year old included) EVERYONE HAD A BLAST. Coach Anthony, Patrick, and Arthur had full control of of the kids and kept them engaged with high-energy games and as promised my son was consistently "the star." After all the activity they had pizza ready for the kids and the adults and finished with the cake I brought. Everyone left with a cool airbrushed tattoo on their arm and they even bundled the presents and put them in a bag for us to take. PARENTS- This was by far the most reasonably priced that I found. The only thing I had to bring was juice boxes, water bottles, and a cake. They took care of everything else. It was the perfect amount of time and my son won't stop taking about it. read more

My son won a free trial at My Gym and I was skeptical because I had been to birthday parties here in the past and they had been poorly run and the owner was obnoxious and rude to the women. HOWEVER I found My Gym to be under new ownership and my son absolutely loved it. The owner Mr. Anthony is nice and works very well with children. They have a lot of equipment but do not keep it all out due to safety reasons. The kids have activity stations and are equally grouped with teachers during each class. There is always time for free play which the kids love and I've seen them manage behavior appropriately as well. After the trial session I signed my son up and he has enjoyed it for the past few months. Now my daughter is going to join him and the sibling discount is awesome too! Definitely not the old My Gym!!! Worth the revisit!! read more

Located near shopping plaza so u can get some quiet shopping time while kids are working out (we deserve quiet time too). Coach Chris is great with the kids, very engaging and energetic. His policy is great with siblings and being able to attend more than one class a week. The facility is also very clean and safe. I'm writing this review based on going to the "open gym" I called the day of and asked if I need an appointment and the lady on the phone said no. It is open gym from 2 to 4 and 10 dollars each child. I drove 40 minutes to get there to a absolutely mad house! I knew it was president's day and people have off, so I expected it to be packed. But this was out of control! We got there around 2 and by 2:45 it was so packed .... kids were starting to tumble over each other has well has the parents. Becoming difficult to keep on eye on your child. Even if you were right next to them! I ended up leaving around that time! The girl at the front desk seemed "ok" she ran off all of a sudden has I was paying and I didn't know if she was coming back or what? She didn't even say hold on or excuse me.. she just ran off and I could not even see where she was. She came back and said "I seen someone doing something that they should not been" soon after my daughter wanted to use the glider. She seen a child using it and was waiting patiently for her turn when the same girl who checked us in said "I'm sorry but I had to shut it down". "I'm the only one here and I need someone else for that!"My daughter was upset she was waiting and excited to use it. Also bathroom no paper towels to dry your hands. The worst part I think is the no child proof gate. It did not work right and most parents where leaving the gate open. My 23 month old ran out three times! Luckily I'm right behind him always. Some toddlers reached the actually door out!! It is right around the corner from the gate. They need a child proof door! Where most places like this do have! That way once it shuts it stays shut! Kids or toddlers can't get through! Very unsafe.. I will not be returning. read more
