This company sent to me two (2) licensed and experienced plumbers. The company honored my request for extensive plumbing in 2 bathrooms of my old house. They were pleasant and professional in their estimated price and the description of the job to do. The plumbers obtained the supplies that they needed and began extensive work for hours being focus on efficiency, rebuilding, refurbishing, installing and improving pipes between the walls until the project was finished to my satisfaction. They were very kind to me, and the company was paid in full. We called Smelscer to come out for a second opinion. Brett was so kind and easy to work with. He explained what needed to be done and treated me with the greatest respect. Also, the bid was much more reasonable than the previous company. They were here a couple of days later to get us fixed up, which they did with a very professional nature and all in one day. We will definitely be calling them again when we have another occurence.

She did take it from 1 1/2 hours to 1 hour, making it $253.28. Still high, but not way overpriced. I had to drive to get my original check and give them the new check. I added photos showing the hose bib sticks out more, and the cleanout didn't get screwed down. With a little cleanup on the threads, it will be fine. I guess I have to fix that myself. I'm keeping this review as is because that was my experience, and I still will never use them again.

I hired Shelton plumbing a year ago to install toilet and move plumbing inside the wall. I called the emergency Shelton plumber and home insurance came out and fixed it at that time I thought. Let's fast forward to a year later. My toilet started leaking at the bottom on the flower. The Shelton plumbing forgot to install the nut to bolt the toilet to the floor, which caused it to shift, leak, and severely damage the subfloor over time. I'm now stuck with expensive repairs again thanks to their careless mistake. The total amount that they have cost me over $3,000. I talked to the president of the company his apology came off very disingenuous. He was trying to get off the phone very quickly. He never offered to claim the damages with their insurance to help me pay for the cost.

The man who called me and talked to me like I was his ex-wife who may have had a side piece and got the house in the divorce, asked me if I would take this review off if the company fixed it. I said I only put down what actually happened. I didn't embellish, exaggerate, lie, bad-mouth. I stated facts. They charged me twice. He kept gaslighting me, saying no, that is not what happened. I just didn't understand this type of home repair. The company charges $90 for the estimate. I said I had already paid. He said, no, it's different. I just didn't understand. I felt like we were dating. And he still didn't tell me how much it would be. He would not commit to coming out until I agreed to take this review down. We hung up. Another lady called back about 2 hours later and said that DAZ would be happy to come out and complete the work. I still didn't get a quote. Wow! Can't even escalate well. NO THANKS! Charged 2 times and got 2 completely different estimates by 2 different people for the exact same job. The issue: hot water runs from the kitchen faucet when the water heater is on. So I mostly leave it off. I've had a lot of work done on my house. It's 100 years old and I've replaced or repaired just about everything in it. So, I know if you want the work, you have to pay a price. The first person who came out quoted me $300. I just needed to buy my own faucet because they don't sell the one I need. This trip and estimate = $89.95 GOT THE FAUCET. The second person, as soon as he gets here asks, "What did they quote you?" I told him. He said, "No. It's $389.00. But I might be able to do it for $300 if it's just the faucet." Turns out, he says he'll have to get into the wall, it might be $400, $500, $600. He won't know til he gets in there. Whoa! So...double what I was quoted? MAYBE? I told him I couldn't afford that now, thanked him. Asked him what i owed him for coming out. This trip and estimate: $89.00 He left without giving me a receipt or written estimate for what he just quoted me. Everyone was perfectly nice. But it left me asking: What was the first estimate for?
