During my last pregnancy I saw every nurse and midwife, each and everyone of them were welcoming, professional, and provided great care. My pregnancy was high risk and ended in an emergency c-section, but every step of the way I felt confident in my medical team. They are wonderful and I am so thankful to have found them. As a new patient here, I'm not sure how I feel about the office yet. Time will tell! I got there for my appointment at what was apparently a very busy time, so it felt a little chaotic at first, but once the rush died down it was fine. Yoonie, one of the midwives, was really friendly and took her time talking with me and explaining what I can expect for future appointments, which put me at ease. I can't say enough good things about Mrs Arielle. From the very first visit, I felt welcomed, cared for, and truly seen. She has that rare combination of deep knowledge and genuine compassion. NP Angela Harvey was wonderful and very thorough in her evaluation and explanations of procedures and care plans. Her shadowing NP was wonderful as well. My first visit experience was pleasant and quick; from the moment I checked in until I walked out the door it took only 45 minutes. While it was fast, I felt listened to and not rushed in any way. The office was clean, staff were all incredibly friendly even with the busy waiting room, their phlebotomist was quick and kind, and it was all-around great experience. This group is awful. From the girls up front being constantly rude and messing up every single copay to the providers. I saw Deb who I absolutely love, but can never get into. As a woman who is older I would NOT recommend this facility. There was no communication between the intake person to the woman seeing me for the first time. I saw Angela who came in, didn't introduce herself an immediately stated how she didn't know how she could help if she didn't have lab results (which I'd given to the intake gal). I have never had a negative experience at My Obgyne. I see Debra who is one of their midwives and she has been nothing but kind, professional and helpful. I'm even able to bring my young kids with me since I don't have a sitter and all the staff are very patient in that regard. Wait times are never long and whenever I have an issue I feel it's taken care of by the obygne team. Highly recommend. read more

When we found out we were pregnant with our second, I went to my previous midwife who had started her own practice. She wasn't taking new patients at the time, and her 'personal best, most favorite' recommendation was Janine Hammond (CNM) with MyObGyne. I took her recommendation and let me say, Janine has been awesome. She is super chill, personal and professional. A truly wonderful balance and right up my ally. Bonus: 1) She is great with my three year old daughter, and shows nothing but love to her. 2) She is also super stellar at responding to the messaging available on their portal; which has been really helpful in between appointments. Overall, the front office staff is cool. I've always gotten along with them, and have found (with almost any personal interaction in life), that you get what you give. The MAs are typically nice, some friendlier than others, and that works for me. The US Techs are also personable, which is a definite plus. I have my next appointment with the practice owner, Dr Poku, and am excited to officially meet her. She's always been friendly if I see her in the office, and always says hello. We moved from San Tan Valley to Chandler early in my second trimester, and decided it was well worth it to make the drive to continue care with Janine (and to deliver at a hospital that is now 35 minutes away). I am now in my third trimester. Thus far, things have been a breeze with MyObgyne. I am grateful they were recommended. read more

Everyone was so kind here! Tora was my midwife during my pregnancy and she is amazing. Very kind, empathetic, funny and knowledgeable. She always answered my questions and helped educate me when I needed it without making me feel silly. She was on top of things and helped ease my concerns. I've been going here for 3 years and have always encountered issues either with scheduling or issues with the staff themselves but this situation I'm dealing with is much more frustrating. I overpaid on my deductible 3 years ago and finally one of the receptionist mentioned I had a $500 credit on my account and I've been trying to get a REFUND for 3 MONTHS. I believe they had no intention on ever even mentioning I had overpaid my deductible and were planning to just keep the money because now that I'm trying to get a check issued they're dodging my calls, not giving me any clear answers to when I'll be receiving my money back just the "my manager said it'll be going out soon" DO NOT GO HERE unless you want them to STEAL from you and treat you like a quick payday. I've tried to speak to an office manager but I just get transferred to their billing department and continue to be told the same thing. I will be taking further action until this is rectified. read more

if I could give this place 0 stars I would. I came in 6 weeks pregnant just to establish care. I was so nervous as this is my first pregnancy. The front office girls were so unapproachable and not helpful. I was taken back and saw miss Arielle Bakhie. I was told over the phone that she was so great. I was so excited for a good experience with the drs at least after the front was so rude. Miss Arielle didn't ask me one question about my cycle or how long or even really looked at me the whole 5 min she was in the room. I tried to tell her that my cycle was shorter than the normal 28 days so I would be further along. She ignored me and kept talking about labor. not sure why we are talking about labor when im this early but ok. We do some blood work. they tell me I'll get it back in two days maybe one. I got it back three days later and Arielle was hinting that I would be at risk of having a miscarriage due to my progesterone level. She sends in a rx and I'm messaging her obviously very scared wondering why she thought my progesterone was low when it said normal. No response for 3 DAYS DURING A WORK WEEK!!!!. I went to a different OBGYN as I was freaking out. Had my blood drawn and my progesterone levels are exactly where they are supposed to be and I'm week further along then what she said because my new Dr actually took the time to listen to me. Today Arielle finally messaged me back and I told her I had gone with a different OB due to her lack of responses when it was a very serious and scary time for me as her patient. all she said back was "okie dokie have a great week" I'm telling you guys this place is a joke. do not waste your time here. read more

Currently been here for a least 3 visits and love seeing Janine! Easy to schedule appointments. Sometimes they run late but are always apologetic. I only wished they offered 3D ultrasounds like my last doctors office. They also do not do as many ultrasound's as my ob did so sometimes they only listen to the heartbeat. read more

this is my first pregnancy and dr poku has been with me through most of it, she genuinely seems to care about my situation and has a very warm and welcoming energy. the only issue i've had with her is last minute cancellations and running behind schedule at times but shes told me it's usually because she's dealing with another patients emergency, which i completely understand. i drive almost an hour to every appointment and will be making that same drive to be at the hospital she's in network with simply because she listens to and cares about my concerns and i trust her judgement with mine and my child's hospital care. i highly highly recommend her! read more

Dr. Poku and her staff are a welcome relief from this hectic world. The Dr. is gentle, friendly, compassionate and listens closely to what I say. She chats with me like a friend, then when it's time for the exam, she professional and business-like with an excellent bedside manner. I recommend her more highly than any doctor I've ever been to in my whole life, and I've had some really good ones. She occasionally sings around the office, too, and has a lovely voice. I love Dr Poku. I had a rare form of cysts that she removed and feel so much better, but still a few problems that she has referred me to a urogyno to see if I have some pelvic floor issues. I feel like Dr Poku listens well, has compassion for her patients, and is very thorough in getting to the root of the problem. And if it is outside of her realm, then she is very good at referring you to other doctors that will also be good to hopefully give a final diagnosis and treatment. read more
