It is…read moredefinitely in a very touristy area and has plenty of touristy drinks and treats, but honestly, what we had was really good. I got a lemon mojito, and we also got the lemon sorbet served inside half of a lemon. Both were cold, refreshing, and exactly what we needed on a very hot day walking around Capri. The lemon sorbet especially felt like the perfect thing to get while you are on the island. The shop itself is basically built into the wall along the path and is shaded by vines, so it actually has a really beautiful little setting. The workers were working hard and spoke enough English to make ordering easy. There was a pretty long line when we arrived, although it seemed to come and go pretty quickly. The biggest downside is that the line can block a good portion of the walkway and create a little bit of chaos with everyone trying to get through. It is definitely a bit of a tourist trap, but sometimes touristy things are touristy for a reason. Everything we got was good, refreshing, and fit the whole Capri lemon aesthetic perfectly. We were told that this shop was the original that created the famous limoncello that Capri is known for today, and the flavors of their limoncello were unreal! Fresh juices, perfectly balanced with sugar and finely crushed ice made for a true refreshing drink. We also tried some of their sorbets, and selected the Lemon and Watermelon from their vast selection. Again, the quality here is unmatched by anywhere else we've tried in our lives. We were pleasantly surprised by this unassuming roadside stand off the beaten path. The workers here are hard-working and friendly. They spoke some English, which made it easier for us to order. If we ever visit Capri again, we'll for sure come back here!
