He was very helpful, friendly and accommodating and offered us both a bottle of water as well as some extremely helpful information. Mr. Lightle also gave us some other people to call (brokers, other appraisers) which we appreciated a lot. One of my favorite parts of this job is talking to people and Mr. Lightle was very friendly. He provided us with thorough information about some land sales in the county and was extremely engaging and attentive the whole time we were there. His office is very welcoming and unlike any other appraiser's office I've ever been in. It was like an extremely professional living room. If you are an out-of-town appraiser doing work in Searcy (like me), go to the White County Courthouse and Tax Assessor's office first. Everyone is super friendly. We allowed the sellers to remain in the house for 5 days after the closing date. Our agent from River Valley did not show up to the walk through, nor to the actual closing. Apparently, she overslept. When we arrived to our new home, furniture, trash, food, clothing, bedding, boxes, etc. were everywhere. We don't plan on selling our home in the future, but, if we were to do so, we would never consider using this agency. NEVER.

Find a realtor that is better suited for working in the information age.

I don't think if you advertise your number out in the public & are in sales, you should treat people in that manner that are trying to give business to your company.
