I have been to this stadium several occasions now and find it to be very good. The view is unrestricted wherever you are seated in the stadium. It is not that old and this shows in its seats and toilet areas. It is one of the cleanest stadia I have been to and I have been to a lot. It is well served by the local road system and there is ample parking. I used the petrol/fast food joints parking area opposite and had no problems getting in or out. There were many buses going past also. Probably the best way to get there and back, if you are staying locally, is by bicycle. It is free to park your bicycle and helps to keep you feeling fit!! The main thing is that the bicycle is king. The pavements and roads work in favor of the bicycle...and I have already mentioned where you can hire them!!! read more

The people there are really nice and you always feel welcome. Recently there was a rumor that the really talented and respected PRO will stop at Alvesta GK, which is a downer, as his replacement is known as not being proactive. Crossing my fingers for this development to be good for the organisation. When you are near, hit the driving range for a bucket of balls or just stop by at for a lunch at the restaurant.

A small and owner run bike hire business. It could easily be missed if you are walking on the wrong…read moreside of the road!! Once you find it you go down a little drive to get to the actual shop. The owner has some English (which is better than my Swedish ;) ) and is happy for you to test the bike first and help to adjust the seat to your desired height. The actual cost of the hire is very good especially when I think what it would cost in the UK to do a similar thing. In order to head off on your bike you need to leave a credit card/driving license as your deposit. Whilst I am very positive about this bike hire venue as it is less than 5 minutes walk from my hotel the only reason it does not get 4 stars is that the bikes could use a good clean and a service. Other than that it is a good place to hire a bike if you are in the Växjö area.
