We have used Myrtle Springs Septic for going on 5 years now. They were pretty good when it came to the monthly inspections but we have some sort of underground issue that they were unable to resolve. We paid for it to be fixed atleast twice but the problem was not resolved mind you, this has been going on for years. I called about 3 weeks ago and told them that the problem still wasn't resolved and that I needed to have someone new come out to try to fix the issue. I did not hear from anyone so I called back last week and was told that someone would call me and noone did. I called again last night and said that it was getting ridiculous only to receive a phone call this morning to say that they are not renewing our contract because we were rude to them. I have not been rude to them. It comes down to this, they don't know how or don't want to do the work to fix the issue. We have paid for this to be fixed twice but it was never resolved. Do Not Use! Poor customer service, rude office staff, scam your money. Unfortunately, signed a contract with them, staff stated they would accommodate work schedule but do not. Setup appointment took off work for inspection, technician was a NO SHOW/ NO CALL. On next inspection, they sent a very young man, who didn't know what he was doing, he stated my unit was broke and turned off system. Only to have another service call with a different technician to say nothing was wrong. He sprayed sealant and turned the system back on and charged $150/ service call for 3 minutes of time. I left a voicemail Thursday asking for them to call me for a quote and possible appointment to inspect a septic system. They called me back Friday morning and stated they would be out there to look Friday night or Saturday morning. My fiance called an hour later with a few questions. The secretary said he would be out Friday night or Saturday morning and that he would call us back to answer the questions. She also said she would have him call us an hour before he went out there since we expressed an interest in being there. Well...Saturday at 2pm came he still had not arrived. He did not answer our calls or emails. I left a voicemail AND an email firing them from the job at 2pm. I then get a call at 5pm Saturday evening from the home owners stating that the septic guy had just arrived. I was furious! I called him and no answer! He then emails me the report Sunday morning and calls me 20 minutes later with an apology....he didn't see the email cause he didn't go to the office Saturday....he didn't get the calls because he was at a funeral....he didn't get the calls because he forgot to turn his phone back on....he didn't know he was suppose to call us and meet us there. He did however keep stressing that he did the work he said they would (about 20x). I emailed him Sunday night after talking to a realtor, my fiance and a lawyer...they told me to ask for $ off the bill due to his mess ups and the fact that between 2pm and 5pm Saturday I had already hired another company. He wrote me back Monday morning with more excuses, claiming he did the work he said, he wasn't aware he'd been fired, he didn't know he was suppose to meet us there and he was nice and gave us a discount cause usually he charges more on weekends (that's funny...this is the first i am hearing of this weekend charge...and he quoted me Friday the same that he charged me). Now it is Thursday (he sent the bill Monday) and they are calling me asking how they are going to get paid.... sounds like this has happened to them before. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY. read more
