This is more based on the dog park that's on the same lot as the Children's Park. This one uses…read moreturf, which i find has it's benefits on the days after a rainstorm since it doesn't get muddy. There are four big pine trees with separate retaining walls around three of them for owners to sit down. With it being so close to the bay, there's often a nice breeze that goes through the park. There's no divide between small dogs and big dogs, so it's best to just keep an eye on your dog, and many owners around here are usually respectful. The street parking immediately adjacent to the park is free, however, it has a limit of 30 minutes, and the parking meter workers are strict on it if they're around. I bring my dog here around lunch time because those who live/ work in the area tend to bring their dogs during their break time and my dog gets his socialization time. They close 8am-11am MWF for maintenance/ cleaning. Currently, both gates are broken so it's not as secure as it should be, and who knows when the city will actually fix it. There're a few agility structures and a water dispenser. The children's park itself looks pretty cool for kids with a lot of structures with slides and swings. There's also another separate area with fixed exercise equipment that looks well- maintained. The water feature in the park is a water feature, not a pool.

After the SD Writers Festival and then grabbing a slice and a beer on the main strip, I strolled over here to enjoy the last rays of the day. It is just gorgeous and breathtaking. I sat far back today, sitting on some rocks, ear buds in listening to my favorite playlist and just meditating while Mother Nature put on her beautiful sunset show for us. Come out here and enjoy the fun shops and restaurants nearby and spend some time with nature. Your heart and mind will thank you later.

There are spots all along the strand with paid parking, but you can find some free parking too, and it is not that far of a walk. The beaches are pristine and the views are second to none. Great spot to take visiting family and friends who want to get a taste of San Diego. They also get to experience the Coronado Bridge if you are driving over there. Highly recommend visiting if you get a chance.

We show up at the designated time to get the Jersey before the first practice (today) and the Jersey has been taken out of the bag and given to another child. No replacement, just too bad and you'll get it next week. A couple other children in the second group experienced this too. So our children suffer because the first game group parents ordered the wrong size and the owner gave our child's jersey away. Not a great start! Unacceptable!

One of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. We booked two jet skis for one hour…read morefor four people, but only one of them worked properly. The other was practically unusable -- it wouldn't go over 7 mph and continued to lag even after we passed the green buoy by over 200 meters, just as we were instructed. When we first arrived to check in, no one was there. Around three separate groups, including us, stood in the sun for 15-20 minutes with no staff in sight. When someone finally showed up, the employee who helped launch us was polite and gave clear directions -- the only positive part of our entire experience. He even said, "If the jet skis slow down after the green buoy, call us for help so you don't waste your time coming back." We followed instructions exactly, but the jet ski still didn't work properly. We tried calling twice for help from the water -- no answer. After wasting over 10 minutes trying to troubleshoot on our own, we had no choice but to return to the dock. Once again -- no one was there. The dock gate was locked, and we had to wait another 15 minutes until my husband ran all the way back to the office to get someone to assist us. When help finally came, the staff member dismissed our issue and showed us the jetski's GPS screen, claiming we "never passed the buoy," which was completely false. Why would we lie and purposefully waste our own time? He admitted they were short-staffed, said he could give us a new jet ski, but only for the 20 minutes we had left -- no refund, no time credit, and no apology. He kept trying to shift the blame onto us, when clearly their equipment and lack of staffing were the issues. We asked for his name, and he ignored us twice. He told us, "The owner Tyler will contact you today," but no one ever reached out. We even called again before they closed -- still nothing. Also -- being short-staffed is NOT the customer's fault. Maybe manage your scheduling better so customers don't end up stranded or waiting for basic help? No one was available at the front desk, no one answered the phones, and no one was at the dock when we needed assistance. You wasted so much of our time and money, and this is by far the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I'll definitely be contacting my bank to dispute this charge. This was a scam, plain and simple. I looked at past reviews and it's clear we're not the only ones this has happened to. Avoid Luxury Jet Ski Rentals at all costs. Save yourself the stress.
