The floors upstairs had not been cleaned and we found a dead mouse in the house on the second morning. Completely gross. The grounds are not maintained. Completely lacking in any spirit, so against he grain of a town like Crestone!

After having to look ourselves I checked in the bed sheets of the room that we figured was ours by a key just being in the door and the only room unlocked, (something you should always do..) I found mouse feces and urine on the white bed sheets, that was the last straw, after letting Anne (owner) know that we were no longer going to stay she refused give me a full refund stating that we didn't let her know soon enough but she never stated that there was a time frame for cancellations, and for weeks ignored my phone calls and emails to discuss this matter, I am still waiting on a refund!!!! I recommend staying else where in Crestone, Co that is more accommodating and has clean bed sheets!!!

All of the animals are well taken care of and added to the overall wonderful experience. The hosts are very friendly and offered a delicious breakfast. There is also a well-marked trail on the property, for those who wish to commune with nature. Cheesemaking classes are also available. We purchased some of the goat milk lotion, it's made on site (I believe). Wonderful product for the dry Colorado air. I would definitely recommend!

Since we were in the family suite, we had our own private entrance, so we never disturbed other guests, or vice versa. It was a bit warm the weekend we were there, but there is a small window unit and some fans to help circulate air. Only drawback is that Westcliffe is a ranching-heavy community, so expect to smell field manure...depending on wind direction, you may not want to keep your windows open!

I contacted Barb the owner to ask for the wi-fi password and she emailed me back right away. The suite was so nice but the screen in the windows needed to be replaced and the one looked like it was going to fall out the window. Overall it was great with a beautiful view of the mountains. Thank you to the owners we loved our night.
