I found that the store had moved several door down. Up to 75 off nobody called me I love their selection. Service ‍ is amazing I bought a really cool leather jacket for my 18 yr old that was modeled by one of the staff so I could text it to my daughter she loved it. And I loved it for the price. Awesome model. So I walked into the new location they downsized. It looks really cool. Honestly I didn't get a chance to see what they had in stock. Saying hi to the staff and owner and checking out the new location. Looking really cool. I almost forgot why I went there last week. It was because I had an 18 year old daughter. I wanted to buy a faux leather corset type top with my leather pants for a Saturday night out . They had over 10 different types to choose from . The girl in the fitting room was so lovely . She helped me in and out of all of them . The one that looked the best was a size medium and I'm a small . I told her it was the only one. She said let me try to find a small and she did ! I was so happy. It fit perfectly. I love finding cheap pieces to mix with me more expensive ones . She gave me the attention like i was in high end department store. Actually even better. read more

Spanish older lady working at the front desk was extremely unprofessional and rude when ringing up my outfit that was on sale for 14.99 each. She kept implying that I changed the price when I even showed her the same pair of pants in a different size for the same price. She had to call management to ask for a price reduction and failed to acknowledge that I the costumer was right and she ended up giving me the price on the tag after wasting my time. This individual was extremely rude and never apologized, this establishment needs new employees. read more

Their hours are posted incorrectly online. I came here at 7:50pm on a Tuesday and it said they were open until 9:00pm on Google. My friend and I walked in and the sales associate working rudely came up to us and said "we close in 5 minutes". I will never ever come back here. Could have easily made another 2 sales before closing up. There have been plenty of times I have gone to a retail store a few minutes before they closed and they still allowed me to make a purchase. read more

I love Mystique. I just don't always love their pricing. They are definitely overpriced but they always have a bunch of really cute outfits. All their locations have huge stores with trendy clothes ranging from casual to party dresses. Its rare that I walk into a Mystique and don't find something I like. I usually come to this location after work because its literally 5 minutes up the block from my job and I find that to be convenient. Its located by the highway in a shopping center near the Harmon. Huge parking lot and its never an issue finding parking. The girls working here are nice, I've never had any issues. Sometimes I do feel like this specific location doesn't have as much things as the Westbury or Carle Place location though. Also, I urge people to try the clothes on before purchasing. Keep in mind that no Mystique accepts refunds. I know they do exchanges but I believe its within a couple of days. The fitting rooms are pretty annoying though. Never a mirror within the room and there's no door --- they always put a curtain that annoyingly never covers the whole opening. The floor is usually dusty as hell so beware lol they really should invest in a Swiffer. A lot of times they have sales racks with discounted items but they're really annoying to browse through-- you really have to be patient for that. Mystique Boutique= super cute trendy and fashionably overpriced clothes. But after Joyce Leslie closed down I feel like there's not many options out there. And I refuse to buy online-- I like to try things on first. read more

I've been going to this trendy boutique for years. It's definitely hit or miss and it's always packed with girls trying to find their last minute outfit. I've never had an issue with any of their locations. Tonight I walked into the Melville location to do precisely that, look for a last minute outfit for NYE. Online it says they close at 9pm so I walked in at 7:45 and within 5 mins of browsing, an employee starts making her rounds around the store making sure that everyone knows they have 5 mins left to "start making their way to the register". I was caught by surprise because clearly I had the wrong closing hours. I still had about 10 mins to look around I told myself, wrong. The urge to go home of these girls working was bizarre, the same girl walked directly up to the last few people left and asked "excuse me are you paying with cash or card?" The lady responds cash, with the audacity this girl (the employee) asks the customer if it's possible to pay with card because she's closing the register and if not to come up now. Like Whoa, we still have at least 5 mins now left to shop... the way too aggressive need to close the store was shameful. I then said no way, I'm walking out of this place, as I was making my way out, the same girl yells to her coworker, "is there anyone else left" the young girl says just one and as I walk out she says okay that it. Like who runs the store this way??? What a rude, Horrible and immature way to treat their customers. Maybe hire older people who know the definition of respect? read more

If I could rate this store 0 stars I would. I went to buy a dress, found one for a good price, when I walked up to the register to buy it the cashier told me the dress was actually on sale for $15. I said great! Then she said actually it's $40 it has the wrong tag. I asked if I could have the price of $21 that was on the tag (not even the $15 she told me it was on sale for) since it wasn't my fault that the i correct tag was on the dress. The manager rudely walked over and said it's $40 still. Will never come here again, if they can get their inventory right then maybe customers wouldn't leave such bad reviews read more

Literally NEVER coming back here again. I returned alittle over 100$ worth of items a few months ago and they gave me store credit since they don't give refunds. They said I should keep the receipt but if I did lose it they would be able to look me up in the system by my name or my number or address or any of my information. Just came back to the store today and they said they don't have the same system and they don't give store credit anymore. They said there was nothing they could do, my 100$ was just gone. NO "I'm sorry", NO let me get the manager. I obviously was upset at this point since all they managed to do was shrug their shoulders. To top it off, the fat bitch behind the counter laughed at me & made some disrespectful remark as I walked away. read more

I have shopped in both the Melville and Manhasset locations since they opened. I have 5 girls ages 13-24 and have spent thousands of dollars there buying both clothes and gift certificates. I have watched them be disorganized and so slow at checkout that I have thought about throwing my hands up and abandoning my shopping load. I've been subject to waiting an hour for them to locate keys, boxes and managers to make gift certificate purchases to help bring new customers to their store. With my last purchase ...I stress LAST... I spent $1300 and when I made my first return of a pair of boots that cost $24 a few weeks later, I was told they would not accept it because they stopped selling shoes. I was beyond insulted and although I attempted to reason with the manager about how it isn't my fault that they decided to stop selling a genre and that I was a really good customer, he sent me on my way without blinking. I will never return. I will spend my $7000 a year with someone who cares about my business. read more

Very disappointed in the service. The manager Nancy was very rude and unhelpful. Someone who is a manager should be respectful and helpful to their customers. I stopped in at 11 AM to buy a shirt but I didn't have time to try it on. As the manager Nancy rung me up she never once mentioned to me that it was final sale. I then came back a couple hours later the same day to exchange the shirt for something else. She then proceeds to give me a nasty attitude and tell me that there is no way that she will be able to exchange the shirts. I will never return back. I bought two dresses (full price- 44$ each) from mystique in Melville. I was in a hurry because I was on my lunch break, so I bought both dresses without trying either of them on. When I got home I tried the dresses on and neither of them fit right. I went to return the dresses with the receipt and realized on the car ride there that the receipt says they have a 14 day return period. I didn't think it would be a problem because it was only the 16th day (2 days over the return period cut off). I get to the store and the young lady at the register was very nice and understanding- but she couldn't do anything because she wasn't a manager. She told me to wait here while she gets her manager. The manager comes out and walks over to me with the nastiest look on her face. She doesn't even say hello or give any greeting whatsoever- instead she stares at me without saying a word. I then chose to say hello and ask her how she was, she ignored me and started off the conversation by stating their return policy. I explained to her my situation, and how it is only 2 days late- and asked her if she can do anything at all. She had zero interest in helping me or even caring. She responded by telling me she can give me $10 credit- keep in mind my dresses cost $88 total and I had the receipt in front of her. This manager was completely rude, had zero customer service skills, and was not willing to help me in any way. I left the store with zero progress and still have my dresses with the tags on them and the receipt. Totally unacceptable. My friends and I will not be going back to ANY mystiques ever again. read more

This is the worst boutique I have ever been to, it does not even deserve that reference. Aside from the fact that their merchandise is low quality, even worse is their customer service. This was my first time shopping here, purchased a few items and decided to return them the very next morning. THEY HAVE A NO RETURN POLICY?! Who would think, as there are really no stores around anymore that do not allow you to return items, especially the very next day. I asked the manager of the store if she could return my purchase this once as it was first time shopping there, and at the time of my purchase, the employee who rung me up never made it a point to tell me "NO RETURNS". That would be good customer service and I guess they don't believe in that. I had no choice but to leave with my purchase. I proceeded to call the corporate office and spoke to a male supervisor. He was worse then the store staff. I told him the circumstances and asked if he could waive the refund the one time as I was not notified and the items were in my possession less than 24 hours. He proceeded to tell me that he could but would not as there is no state law that requires them to tell the customer about their no refund policy. He even had the nerve to blame my saying " well why didn't you ask"! Who would think to ask, when everyone has a return policy. He then refused to help me and hung up the phone on me. I don't understand why, as a business, you would want to sacrifice a return customer for life for 1 purchase. I will never return!!! Nothing like cutting off your nose to spite your face.
