Fantastic massage!! The massage therapist , I believe her name is Lyndsey, was super professional and friendly. Deep tissue was amazing. Very quick to make an appointment. I called and left a message and got a call back within 2 hours with an appointment time. I don't think this massage therapist is the one from the other reviews. read more

I told the facialist that I have rosacea but she didn't know anything about rosacea so my cheeks got burned. I have to put cortisone cooling gel and aloe vera on my cheeks to diminish the inflammation, which will probably take a few days to recover. She didn't apologize. I asked her about other services listed on their website such as micro-neediling, cavitation and the plasma pen but they don't offer them and she said that I must have looked at the wrong website which is not true. The message therapist forgot to warm up the stones and blamed someone else but there was only 1 hairststylist and the facialist and neither one would be responsible for the stones. Taking responsibility for mistakes is being professional. Also, I didn't get a receipt for the facial. I called them to email it to me but they never did. This is the best salon in Gallup! The salon itself is small but beautiful with a calming ambience. It's very rare to find great customer service in this town. All the ladies here provided excellent customer service & were just all around friendly. My daughter is very shy & we normally go to the same salon but we decided to venture out this time & we were not disappointed. Her stylist, Misty, made her feel at ease & offered both of us refreshments while we were there. She did an excellent job on her hair. To top it off, it was only $22! The lady who did my facial didn't know anything about Rosacea. My skin was very inflamed after the facial because she didn't know how to handle Rosacea. Also, I asked them about the other services they have listed on their website such as Micro-needling, Body Sculpting, Cavitation and Plasma Pen but she said they don't do these things and that I must have looked at the wrong website. I also got a massage, but the massage therapist forgot to heat up the stones and then blamed someone else for it. But there were only 2 other people in the salon - the hairdresser and the facialist who has her own room and her own instruments. I know it's hard to admit our mistakes but it's the professional thing to do. The massage was pretty overall. I also didn't get a receipt for the facial. First of all when I called to schedule an appointment I asked for someone who knew how to cut thick hair. This is one of the absolute worst hair cuts I have ever gotten in my lifetime and I'm 47 years old. The lady was so distracted, that she only spent about 20 minutes out of the hour long appointment actually touching my hair. She hardly separated into sections to cut it, basic stuff you learn in hair cutting school, she didn't cut any layers, then she was pulling chunks of my hair from the bottom layer and cutting it. She didn't finish drying my hair and flat ironing it...and had the audacity to ask me if a hair dresser ever let me leave the chair with wet hair...I said no because they usually blow dry, flat iron and style it and then clean up the layers with it dry. When done I asked her where were the layers? She picks up my hair and says they are there. I get to work and have to put my hair back because it looks horrible and on the under layer of my hair, one side was a complete inch shorter than the other. When I tried to call to talk to someone about getting a refund, no one answered several times, then I left a message for a manager or owner to call me, no call back. A student could have done a better job on my hair. I spent several hours having to cut it shorter to fix my hair. Never go to this "salon" absolute waste of money!!!!! read more

An oasis in Gallup. Misty is wonderful. A very professional salon that would do well in any larger city.

Forgot the name of the lady who cut my hair. Anyhow she was too busy talking away to the customers and their kids to pay any quality attention to my hair and her work. Not surprisingly, at the end of the haircut there were a few problems that I had to have her go over and fix. She seemed pretty annoyed at me for having to point out her mistakes in front of the other customers and stylists. But hey, when you have an inch of hair sticking out here and there where there should only be hair a centimeters length, then its a problem. I usually pay well in tips but decided to not to this last trip. If the lady was more focused, she might have been one of the better stylists in town. read more
