There is a perfect amount of locomotion on the street so you'll never get bored even when your friends are telling the same old story you've listened to a million times already. The staff is usually friendly and speaks sufficient to good english. The only downsides I can see is that the place will get crowded and quite smoked-up during winter and because of German nighttime noise regulations you'll have to head inside after midnight. But that's not enough to warrant the loss of a star. Oh and yes, this place serves cider!

In the cafe, you can also sit outside near the city-wall of Göttingen. Persian food and drink is available here. The atmosphere is cosy with a candle burning on the tables. You can read a paper here, prepare for a university exam or you can just chill out. Ah, the chai teas and chai lattes are nice.

Both times they act like they don't really want to sell items. Yesterday the woman said the credit card machine didn't work. "No Visa." I said I had a debit. "No!" I said I could use American Express. She said, no. At this point in time I was confused about if the machine work or not and I was confused about why they had a machine out for everyone to see if they didn't take cards. I was about to hand back the food when she relented "fine. You can use it if you spend 10 euros." There were no signs about this either.
