The staff is overly friendly and they know their bussiness. You can also buy wine here. The owner is actually swiss who produces wine in Argentinia. And imports it here in Switzerland. He is kinda famous the owner (he used to be a singer). This place has a story and you feel it once you enter it. In the evenings you can also eat here. Never tried it. But I have to try it. Pay attention, only 5 tables or so. Really really small. Just go and have a glass of wine.

It feels very high class. The service was great and so knowledgeable. The coolest part is they let us try a bunch of the whiskies to decide which one we wanted to take home! Their prices were very fair, especially for some of the rare bottles they had. Highly recommend, we would be regulars if we lived in the area, but we settled for a bottle and a couple pocket shots.

Ask the staff to try a spirit and they'll gladly oblige. What I most liked was that even though this shop is in Niederdorf, it wasn't over-run by tourists and had prices that were either commensurate with other shops, or slightly less expensive.

Bartender was friendly although not chatty. Drinks were well prepared. Small tray of nuts, etc to snack on. Nothing in Zurich is cheap but this wasn't eye popping by their standards. I'm picky about cocktails and was on a stopover after a two week holiday where I shied away from ordering them because nothing seemed worth ordering in the area I was visiting. This menu was overwhelming, though--so many creative and thought-provoking options that it was hard to choose. We each selected one and it was utterly delicious, making us wish we had time for a second! We weren't sure what to wear and were surprised to see quite a mix, from people dressed in smart casual up to elegant attire. So it's not super prescriptive in that way. Also worth noting--my partner is celiac, so we need strict gluten free food with no cross contamination. At least one of the drinks was elaborate enough (featuring lacto-fermented strawberries) that we thought it was worth double checking with the server about cross-contamination. He took it seriously and advised us confidently (as the other hotel staff had done in our hotel experience with the Widder), and my partner stayed safe. A call to Simona at Brancaia led to an offer to hold the bottles for me without charging my card and confirming this with an email. Now I know I will be there just after I leave the airport for a consultation with this wine.

There were plenty of different wines to taste, and each of the different vendors were happy to share their knowledge.
