The atmosphere in the restaurant is very nice. Traditional Bavarian in style with a menu to suit the locale. The waitress we had was very friendly and helpful and prompt. A great feature of these places is the speed at which things arrive at your table. The place was full with various groups celebrating Christmas events yet, drinks arrived quickly and the food was also there promptly. I had a Zweibelrostbraten for main. The flavours were amazing and the pan fried potatoes were to die for :-) the only complaint was the fried onions were too salty making me really thirsty. The Apfelkücherl for dessert was the best I have had in Bavaria thus far. All in all a great meal and I really enjoyed it. I would come back here again. Perhaps during the day to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy some good Bavarian fare. Prices are reasonable and service is quick. It's worth the trip to Ismaning ;-))

It has been here for around 100 years and the hotel looked really nice and pleasant. We ate dinner in the biergarten and sat at a reserved table under the awning in order to get waiter service. They serve Hacker-Pschorr bier and we had a couple of the Munchner Dunkel Lagers. They were nice with smoky flavors of roasted nuts and malt. For dinner I had medallions of chicken, pork and beef in a light brown sauce with broccoli, cauliflower and kasespaetzel (noodles with cheese). I think it was 19,50 Euros for the entree. Everything tasted great. The noodles were a little salty but it was my first time trying this dish so maybe that's how it always is. Service was attentive and friendly. They offer a menu in English if you don't want to try and translate the German menu. All in all a nice place for food and Hacker-Pschorr beer in a relaxing setting. I would definitely visit here if I was staying in this hotel or was anywhere in Ismaning looking for grub and drinks. Prost!
