This Quarter consist of 1) the Titanic museum, which is probably the main attraction and gives the area its name 2) Film Studios - where Game of Thrones is filmed. On the tour bus, when we went past the studio, our guide pointed out the castle turrets, so I got to see a bit of King's Landing set 3) an Arena - our Belfast Black Cab Tour guide talked about how the Arena hosts a lot of musical acts and also is the home to a local ice-hockey team. The ice-hockey team was a way to reconcile Northern Ireland Protestants and Catholics via sport, but it's mostly American, Canadian & Russian players on the team. He also mentioned how when a name was being chosen for the team, there was a lot of suggestions for them to be called the Belfast Bombers!! (That Northern Ireland ironic wit slays me!!!) note - the teams official name was ultimately chosen to be Belfast Giants after Finn McCool 4) historic maritime landmarks like the only other surviving ship built by the same company that built the Titanic 5) my fave landmark in this area however are the Harland and Wolff shipyard's giant yellow cranes! The local name for these is Samson & Goliath. Also the H & W symbols on them, the locals would say those stood for Hate & War in the pre-troubles area. Now they are called Hope & (I cant remember with the W stood for, but again just another great example of the ironic local sense of humor) One tip - if u need loo facilities while visiting the area, the Bathrooms are on the lower level of the Titanic Museum! I made a mistake on an online booking and booked right dates in the wrong month. Could not be fixed from the web site. Called immediately. Guest Services were closed at 5:30 pm. Called the next day, waited 45 minutes on hold, talked to Ann. Told I had to talk to Guest Relations but they were closed. The next day, waited 35 minutes on hold, got Guest Services who put me on hold for 25 minutes, to put me through to Guest Relations. Told that nothing could be done until it became a "Past Booking". The day it became a "Past Booking" I called, and was on hold for 40 minutes, spoke with Robert who said: "you can not receive a refund, nothing can be done". Spoke to Mega, one of the managers who said: "the terms of our online agreement do not allow us to refund you. Asked to speak to her manager. Said her manager was "Ellen but she's not really my manager, she just sort of oversees what I do. She's not available to speak to you." I spent almost as much, on long distance hold, US to Ireland, than the reservation cost. I travel for my living. Have never had worse customer service.

I have not had much experience with these guys apart from taking a jaunt into their offices whilst passing by. Their office's are a little bare, but its the style of most agents offices now to look kinda of minimal. They were quite friendly to me when I enquired about a property, although they did get a little pushy when I said I'll come back later. I had only come in to be nosey (and grab a sneaky Yelp) but I ended up giving them my mobile number to just get back out of the door! I have heard of some people having problems when they're rented accommodation was being managed by Property People, but who doesn't have a gripe with those people who take your money off you every month!

All the staff were huddled together at a computer giggling eating and making us feel uncomfortable as if we were wasting their time. 3 staff members in the office and when we asked to see a suitable apartment I was told they could fit us in next day at 2 as they were too busy. Went to other agency and got sorted with viewing same day and have happily got sorted. Worst experience ever, no customer service at all. AVOID UNLESS DESPERATE.

Have been with University properties now for a year and intend to rent another flat with them next…read moreyear. Like any estate agents if you ring ahead they will are more than accommodating to find you a suitable house/ flat. The flats we live in currently ( 8 friends live in two separate flats in the one house, 4 to each flat) are a bit smaller than most houses you will find in the Holy Lands, however the kitchen fittings are modern and clean compared to most kitchens I've viewed.. and we have went to over 15 viewings in the past. The flat is big enough for what we need and makes it easier to heat. Rent is a bit pricy for the size of the flat but the location of most of their flats/ houses are perfect as they are just off Botanic Avenue which is VERY close to the Botanic Train Station and Uni Link to Belfast and Jordanstown campus. Lots of shops, cafes, fast food outlets and restaurants around these flats. We come into contact with three members of Staff at University properties, Paul, Margaret and 'the handyman' (Think his name is Brian?) all of whom are very friendly and down to earth. If there is any problem they usually get back to us very quickly, even out of hours.

We went for a viewing of an apartment right round the corner from the place we were meant to move in to with those Northern Property glipes and this place was in immaculate condition! Every fraction of the place was sparkling. There was a brand new mattress on the bed, sofas etc as advertised. It was massive and £25 cheaper for better quality (see my other review on that). We had our own furniture though but because the guy who owned the place was now living abroad he couldn't take the things away so we put them in the spare bedroom and my partner used it as a man cave lol the only thing was we had a few insignificant faults that we contacted them about and a guy came out to have a look and log them but nothing was ever done about them in the year we were there no matter how many times they came out to look at them. The maintenance manager is a lovely guy and the girl Sinead we were dealing with was brilliant, they're all so friendly you could happily talk to them all day! The only reason why we left was we were expecting our first baby and there wasn't the room for the nursery because of the owners furniture but I would recommend this company to everyone!

Property Link was one of many estate agents I visited along the Lisburn Road. I had a fairly specific idea of what I wanted and they were brilliant at trying to meet my needs. They didn't try to just shove any old house onto me, they did just try to keep to what I wanted. Whilst I didn't go with any of the houses they offered, it was a pleasant experience dealing with these guys and I wouldn't have a problem going to them again, whenever I need a new place.

"Because we aren't 3 doctors", who got the offer. We were 2 doctors and a PHD researcher... Not good enough to live on the Malone road apparently... But good enough to "hold" our deposit for 3 weeks. We only found this information out when we phoned them to move in. They held 2 £1200 deposits for the same house, hardly ethical. Now homeless, starting a new job in 1 week.
