Foot massage started off in the communal room on the street level in an IKEA-like lounge chair. My therapist wore a pair of loose vinyl glove for each leg that ripped as soon as he started the strong massage. My therapist was very strong and spent the entire hour massaging my foot, leg, and thighs, all while fully clothed in an open communal room. About 10-15 mins later they were ready for me which was a pleasant surprise! I did half reflexology and half body massage. For the body massage she took me downstairs to a small room with 3 massage tables. There are dividers between each table and everyone has their clothes on. I cannot speak more highly about my experience at Step In Reflexology. I even told my hotel concierge about it. Let's take a little step back.. When I was a kid we had a family masseuse and she was amazing, literally her hands did wonders to how you feel and how you look. And since I lived away from home I couldn't find that same feeling and tried expensive spas, cheap places - everything, so I was about to give up. Now, if you are like me - like deep tissue massage (I was practically raised on it) then you will absolutely love Joseph. Even I had to tell him to notch down the pressure a bit. And that never happened since I moved - I was always asking for more pressure and making every masseuse sweat with their work. The only downside is it's a bit cold inside - so just ask for extra blanket if you are cold. Sport massage for 1 hr cost £40 there - and I can't get wait to get mine again tonight! Funnily enough Joseph told me, he charges £70 for the same thing in another salon in Bank station area in the City. It's not a flashy, sleek place, it's a converted upper ground floor flat just 3-4 minutes walk from Wood Green station, but if you want cheap but quality treatment with nice staff - go there and you won't regret.

Noriko was so sweet and friendly, as was the lady who checked me in at the front (I didn't get her name). The facility is clean and cozy, offering tea or water when you arrive. The facial with products includes eminence products which all smelled and felt incredible. They also specialize in Japanese Cosmo Lifting Massages and Noriko integrated some of that into my facial, which was great and something new for me. The facial was so relaxing I'm pretty sure I fell asleep. I'll definitely make this my spot whenever I'm in London!

I was escorted downstairs to the treatment area, and given 30 minutes of chair massage. Brilliant, just what I wanted. She was very communicative and definitely helped ease the tension. I probably need one every day for a month to really work it out, but this really helped. I took a menu and will definitely be back. Really like the vibe of this place, the atmosphere (also SUPER clean), and the service offerings. Facials, beauty + Wellness massage, reflexology, Thai massage, etc. £15 (plus a bit extra for Rie) --- well worth it.
