Horrible Experience at WowTouché Africa Braiding Salon. The owner was incredibly rude and her…read moreunprofessionalism and constant distractions, ex: her son upstairs, who she stopped to put to sleep, and friends over the phone, forced me to cancel my work shift! Additionally, not only did she forget about my appointment on two different occasions, she asked another customer to come back. She took over 3 hours to complete a CROCHET hairstyle that normally would have taken no more then two hours. To add insult to injury, she had the audacity to charge me an extra $20 for her incompetence. I made my appointment 4 hours before my work shift and could not make it due to her unprofessionalism. Furthermore she lacked sympathy/empathy, I never receive a single apology and she raised her voice at my in front of another customer. The braids she did were so tight that I ended up with painful scabs on my scalp. Additionally, the crochet hair she put in was disgustingly tangled and matted within a week, necessitating its removal. I wouldn't recommend her to my worst enemy.

I am picky and had very picky bridesmaids as well but Denise was patient and made everyone look and feel beautiful. All of my girls loved working with her. She is very sweet and professional. She answered all of my annoying emails throughout the year. Makeup never lasts on me but it lasted me until the next morning. I can not say enough about Denise. I would highly recommend her to anyone who wants to look and feel fabulous for any occasion.
