I am not a local and moved here about 3 years ago. I have very thin nails and they break or split if I don't have nail dip on them. I went to several different salons in the area and mostly had disastrous results. Like I said, my nails are thin, so you have to be very careful on how far you sand them down because it doesn't take much to take too much off and cause pain, also I have the added bonus of not being able to do the UV light because it causes a reaction on my cuticles causing blisters and horrible itching. No one can tell me why. Anyways, after many horrible experiences I landed here and from the start I told them all of my issues hoping I wasn't sounding like a Karen customer, but they listened to my issues took them seriously and have been taking care of me ever since. First, I want to say that my friend and I came in as walk ins on a Sunday. There was a bit of a wait, about 45 minutes because of that (which we didn't mind since there is a dollar general nearby). The manicure and pedicure both took a little while to do, more than normal, when I only got a regular gel pedicure and a detailed manicure. Overall, it definitely took longer than an hour so not the place to go to if you're in a rush. And my gel manicure and pedicure turned out to be $90 too which is much more expensive than I was expecting. However, everyone was friendly, and despite being busier than normal and it being a holiday weekend they were able to squeeze us in which we appreciated very much! Inside, it was clean and light music played so the atmosphere was nice as well. That being said, the nails turned out great and we will be going again! read more

they were accommodating for a walk in. i asked for regular mani, the tech used a brand i was not familiar with although i asked for OPI that they had. the top coat was wrinkly when dry, the application was not smooth and my nails were left smudgy and chipped les than 24 hours later. not sure i would come back. read more

Warning do not get lash extensions! Getting my nails done before Christmas. I saw they offer lash extensions so I tried it. 4 days of the lashes poking me in the eye. It felt like I had sand coming out from all the glue that was used. Big chunk would come out. Just Horrible!! I tried to stem them off and remove with coconut oil as suggested on line but there was too much glue. Now a week and half later they are finally falling out. However so are my real lashes. I have one eye with not one single lash... now I will have to go to a REAL salon and get extensions just so I can have lashes till they grow. I had several people telling me that they don't hurt when you get them done and fall out naturally without damaging your lashes! This is not the case here don't get them!!! read more

Went here to get sns dip powder nails. Had to wait over 30mins because there were only 2 nail techs that did this service. I also asked for a simple flower design and the nail tech was unable to do this and painted a very weird design on my nails and laughed stating "well it's something different." 6 days after getting my nails done 3 of them chipped. Often the measure of a business is how it handles customer complaints. I have been to this salon many times with no problems. However, recently a pedicurist was rougher than I'd realized. I got home and there was a sore on my heel from the abrasion of the pumice stone. When it was still hurting after a couple of days I went in and talked to the manager. She was so sweet and apologetic and even thanked me for letting her know so her staff could improve! And she offered a gift certificate for another pedicure. This showed both class and professionalism. I will definitely go back, especially since they always do beautiful work on my nails on both hands and feet. read more

Initially, I was skeptical about visiting this place for a fresh set of a French manipulate and pedicure. Boy, am I happy I ignored that intuition. This place is amazing. The woman who assisted me is very skilled. She has a steady hand, so the curve of the French tip is flawless. Each white strip is in perfect unison, and she had me out of there in less than an hour. From New York, I never thought I would experience a better nail salon; but this place triumphs. Additionally, my mani/pedi set lasted oozed a month. Despite my work in a field that requires constant use of my hands, I did not have a problem with the duration of my manicure. Lastly, they gave me a complimentary and sizable hand lotion container. Health Hazard! I would give a 0 if I could. I had a mani & pedi here to relax after a 6 day work week. The pedicure was incredibly painful as the tech was tearing my cuticles straight off the nail. I winced and yelped and she giggled. Well for those who don't know, your cuticles are there to PROTECT your skin. So post tearing them all open, I ended up with two INFECTIONS in my big toes. They were incredibly painful and I had to see a doctor and pay an out of state co-pay. As for the manicure, I told her I had a very important event this weekend where people would be looking at my hands and I wanted a nice design on a nail. I had just seen the work of a male tech and it was gorgeous. I asked her if she could do something like that and she said yes. She did one nail with arcylic art paint which seemed odd on a gel manicure. It was not what I wanted or even close to what the gentleman did, but it wasn't awful. She tried to do the same design on the left and and could not get it right. It would be wiggly and sloppy and I restated how important it was to me that they look good. And then she told me my nails were too short to make the design. Which she should have said before she tried it. So I said please just leave it plain, I don't care for it. I asked her to remove the design on the other hand so the two hands would match. She told me no, it was too late because she had put the top coat on. She told me I was fine and it's no big deal if the two hands didn't match. I was furious and just wanted to leave so I didn't argue. The design promptly CAME OFF in the shower. To top it all off, they refunded the pedicure due to the INFECTION but then nickled and dimed me on the manicure refund, and I ended up with just $10 back. After paying a doctor co-pay and missing time at work to get treatment and the overall miserable experience, you would think they would just do the refund. But as it's clear throughout the experience, their customer service and satisfaction are NOT their priority. Save yourself the pain, trouble, and MONEY!!! read more

Went to get my nails done with a friend and asked for gel and came out with acrylic... so I had to pay $40 for something I didn't even want. The man made two of my fingers bleed. He also made my nails super long and the shape was terrible. They are so bumpy and uneven. He put so much cuticle oil on my nails it made everything greasy. Definitely never coming back!!! read more

She left in September with no warning so Tammy started doing my nails and now she left with no notice today someone I never saw and there did my nails and I was not happy at all I the polish already chip the design is horrible I am not pleased at all now I had to find a shop tomorrow to get them fix read more

I have never been one to spend money on getting my nails done. Several months ago I went in prior to going on a vacation. I requested a French gel manicure. Tram performed the manicure and Daniel painted my nails. I was thrilled with the result. They were both very kind and gentle. I have been going to the salon regularly since that first manicure. Today I took my daughter for her first pedicure while I had my manicure. As the previous reviewer mentioned, we were also offered a beverage and a small candy item. My 9 year old felt very special by the treatment and very much looks forward to going back. I have now had manicures by 5 of the technicians at Nails & Spa. They have all been super friendly and created a lovely product. We will be back and I would certainly recommend them to others. read more
