I'm not even sure where to start. Horrible experience from the minute me and my girlfriend walked through the doors . We were told we would be able to get pedicures done together, only for my friend to wait until the very end of my pedicure to even have hers started. My nail tech was one of the rudest nail techs I've ever experienced. Saying things to me like "I've been doing nails for 20 years I've never dealt with anyone like you", "your nails are crooked" , "your toes are crooked" - when i asked her to fix the uneven toenail or polish ... snatching the toe separators from my toes saying "oh my God". Well the nail shop I usually go to was booked. We found this one on Google. Well, I'll try to be as polite as I can while being true to my review. The shop was setup ok. It want too too bad. My nail tech was a very nice lady. Ok with that let's begin. I requested the "Pamper Me" pedicure. It was suppose to be a nice long pedicure with a long massage, hot wax, hot stones and hot towels. The massage so so short I wasn't for sure I had one. And thinking about it. She put the lotion on my legs and then rub it in. That was pretty much it. The hot wax that goes on my feet barely had any wax in it. I wear a size 10.5 shoe and it almost didn't cover my foot. It was even hot, I was lukewarm. The hot stones were cold. Well, not cold they were lukewarm as well. Hot heat to relax me. Nothing. Was more annoyed than anything. And the same goes for the hot towels. I was so mad because I paid $70 for the pedicure oh and The Mrs. got the same thing as well. And it was a mess. We both were highly disappointed in the service we received. Not the people but the quality of the pedicures. I was suppose to get a manicure and The Mrs. was going to get a full set we just left after our pedicures. We will never be back here. read more

I only heard good things about this place so I really wanted to go!!!! I love trying new nail salons but this is the last place I'll ever go to. I don't know who did my nails but this man didn't do good at all. He was rushing even though there was no one in here, he didn't even check to see if my nails were the same length (they aren't) my ring finger nail is shaped odd (see picture) and I can just tell he didn't want to do my nails. I feel some of the reviews on here are misleading for this place and some hit it spot on! I called ahead. I know it says walk-ins welcome but calling ahead is a great courtesy to show them you mean it!! They have an Instagram and you can see the beautiful work of Kieu. #1 - she is amazing. I gave her an idea of what I wanted and she blew that out of the water to something even better! #2 she is creative! And an artist. Something I can truly respect. So a little hesitant only because I haven't had solar nails in 6 years! And not gonna lie her work and the rest of the salon do very detailed awesome work but I wanted simply and soft so I didn't know if that was going to be something they would care to do. But I was so WRONG Eileen was fantastic! We talked about the set and what would be best since I've been out of the loop. I was in town for the weekend & had a couple hours I needed to kill Saturday morning while my husband was at a meeting. I asked a girl at my hotel where she went to get her nails done & she recommended Tina at this salon. I went early & was able to get in pretty quick. Tina was great. Very friendly. Very efficient. I really wanted to like this place. They do have some remarkable work displayed on Instagram and clearly have several talented nail techs on staff. Perhaps it was because I just wanted a simple Shellac mani and NOT an elaborate, more expensive nail service? My first experience there was okay. Shellac mani, but found it odd that my nail tech didn't apply any lotion or cuticle oil to my very dry hands and cuticles at any point during my appointment. My shellac lasted almost two weeks, so I thought I'd give this place another shot since I typically have bad luck with shellac, as it usually chips or peels within the first week. Fast forward three weeks to Valentine's Day. I decided to stop in for another Shellac manicure. I am helped by an older woman who appears to be very nice. Everyone in the shop appears to be family, which I love and appreciate as my family owns and runs a small business as well. I pick my color and sit. I should have known I was in for a bad experience when the nail tech kept checking her phone and answering each time it rang, which is cool, EXCEPT that my hands were no longer a priority. She cut up and scraped out my cuticles to the point where three of my fingers on my right hand were bleeding. My flinching and my "ow" expressions didn't help, and neither did the Bactine that she squirt onto my open and cut up cuticles... That stuff burns! "I don't know how that happened" She said and continued her very important phone call. I've had several shellac manicures in my life, so when she skipped the top coat, I of course asked, and she said it wasn't necessary. Really lady? Well, neither are the bubbles that you left on my nails. Or the cuts on my fingers. What really wasn't necessary was the 20% tip I still left you because I get that tips are helpful to those in this industry. A disappointing experience and disappointing nails. Sheesh, if I wanted a bubbly paint job and butchered cuticles, I would've just done it myself! read more

After driving to Houston from San Antonio to get my nails done for 6 months I got tired of the commute, so I took to Instagram to find a nail salon in San Antonio. After several searches, I ran across Nail Flower. I was excited because the nails displayed were creative and "looked" like they might have been on the lines of what I was use to. I went to see Danny and the looked ok....and just ok initially. I was stunned cause a full set and a pedicure was $75. Now this is what I usually pay at home....however when I walk out the door my nails are stunning! The salon is upscale and they shove wine down my throat the whole time! Not the case at Nail Flower! I called and made an appointment with Keiu after being referred here by my hairdresser. When making the appointment I made it clear that I would be traveling from New Braunfels to get there. I got there at 9:25 and I sat and waited for Keiu to get there... at 9:45, the front desk receptionist called Keiu to see if she was on her way to the shop. I'm assuming she told him to ask if I could come back because I heard him say, "she came from New Braunfels ". He then told me she was on her way but that Lilly would start on me and she'd finish when she got there. My first instinct was to say "never mind", walk out and drive the 30 miles back home without getting my nails done but I didn't. I allowed Lilly to do my nails and although they're not designed how I showed her, they still turned out very nice. Attached is a pic of my toes and nails done by Lilly. Even after getting discouraged this morning, I'd say this was a good experience. I'd recommend Lilly to anyone who wants their nails done good. This salon does not even deserve 1 star. Let me start off by saying that I am not one to complain at all but the result of my mani and pedi I had to write a review. I received a dip mani and a pedi not even 7 days ago and all of my nails on my fingers are already chipping! I went back 40hrs after my appt to get a nail fixed as I saw that one was already chipped. The technician graciously re did the nail and I went on my way. Not even 5 hrs later 2 other nails began to chip. Might I add I paid $45 Dollars for a dip mani and I have NEVER paid that much for a next gen mani. I am only writing this review as I wish I had known of the poor quality as I would have saved money elsewhere. Un fortunately my nails look so bad now that is $45 dollars down the drain. I recently moved to Austin and still come here religiously for my monthly eyelash extension fill with Ailena. She is AMAZING! So professional, friendly and answers any and all questions I have about extension maintenance. If something is uncomfortable she will go out of her way to make sure you have a positive experience and you would not believe the amount of compliments I get from her extensions. I get my nails done here as well! My dip powder manicure lasted over 4 weeks! The only reason I took them off was because my nails grew out. Lastly, Kieu, who is also the owner/manager, does my eyebrow waxing and it is perfect every.single.time. Got my shellac manicure done Monday. Three nails chipped by Tuesday so I went Wednesday to get them fixed. Today is Thursday and both thumbs are chipped again. I thought the first time it might be because a bubble formed but I'm thinking it must be the actual polish. I pay over $100 every time I get my nails done, mind you , not to include toes. If my daughter comes with me we spend $200 or better. I had 4 nails done with foil design. Within 2 days, the clear "acrylic' on 2 of the nails completely popped off I returned and was charged to fix those 2 nails. I then asked manager what about the other 2 remaining nails, as they were feeling loose. The owner/manager Q, then said no they should be fine. Well that night and following day they too also lifted from the foil. So now again, I have to return to get them fixed. I paid to get 4 nails fixed that were not broken by me, (manager said they had problems with product with others) by the time I made it the 3rd time the design is ruined from the initial $125 set, I have to pay for broken nails, and a whole new design. So I have to pay because nail tech is "trying" out designs they really don't know how to do then charge me to fix it. So ok, I go in to get my nails done again, I get dirty looks, and am told every one is busy and to come back Monday. Well, I guess they make so much money they don't care about losing a customer. I will never spend another dollar of my hard earned money in this nail shop. *******UPDATE************** my response from owner for review. For your review of: Nail Flower Salon Just a FYI you were never charged on fixing the only things your were charged for is changing out your designs. While you waited over 3 plus weeks to come back. You didn't make an appt and we still took you in also when you enter the door you treat like like we are your slaves no likes to be talk to like that, so yes I definitely wouldn't mine that you do bring your business somewhere else. I want you realize how much people are charging out there for all the set and designs that you do here and what we have to put up with. If you want a file of how much you were charge I can give you a copy you don't get charge as much as you mention. Thank you for taking your business somewhere else. I've been a customer since 2014 and this place is my go-to for ALL special events and my vacation nail spot.
