I got a manicure and the European pedicure. I opted for the gel manicure for $10 more per the website. Online, combos are listed. When I asked why I was being charged $70 and showed the price listed online as $60 ($50 for basic manicure + European pedicure, add $10 for gel) he said oh no... and refused to honor their website. All that aside, they keep their tools in a plastic container and I didn't see anyone use barbicide. A few days later, and I have a painful seemingly infected area on my toe. Worst nail salon I have ever been to! I came in with hard gels understanding that they might have to switch to acrylic. But they could not understand what I needed. If you can't understand English, what are you doing running a business where you have to deal with the English speaking public! Now on to the actual manicure. The man that did it had no idea what he was doing and had to continually ask what to do. Carol (the owner) actually did the acrylic part. But he kept nicking me with the drill so I have little bloody marks on most of my fingers! And when he filed he did the same thing. Ouch!!!! One pedi and one mani took 3 hours. 3!? People without appts were taken before ppl with appts. My dipping powder had to be re-done 3 times because top coat was not drying and continued to stick. Cuticles were cut too short and bled. Overall a stressful experience, not relaxing. Sorry! :( read more

Most aggressive pedicure I've ever had. First time I've been in pain while my nails were filed and my legs exfoliated. She didn't trim my cuticles either (which might be a blessing in disguise). The hot stone massage was maybe a minute - I'm frustrated I paid an additional $10 for the upgraded pedicure. The girl was in such a hurry - there were only two of us getting pedicures (both by her) and two other customers getting manicures by other employees. It wasn't busy so I don't understand the rush. Pedicures should be enjoyable and relaxing. This was anything but. Facility is clean, although I don't anticipate I'll be back. *Update: My pedicure didn't even last a week. Tried this new salon because there were some cute reviews but sadly my experience wasn't what I would've hoped. I received a pedicure and my toe nail was clipped too short causing me to bleed and have a sore swollen toe for days to follow. What should be a relaxing pleasant experience was painful and now I worry I might get an infection or an ingrown toenail. read more

I went to nail Palace for for a pedicure and manicure, the lady who did it was named Lana, she wasn't very nice. And She filed my nails down to my flesh and it's red now, she didn't do a very good job with my nails she didn't even cover the entire nail. I do not recommend this place. it's very expensive, but if you do go don't have Lana do you nails. read more

came here for the first time and will not come back. came in for 2 pedicures and 2 basic manicure. It started with soaking our feet for 30 min before anyone came to us. Grant it there were only 3 people, no problem. Then the lady that worked on my mom's feet and hands was nice and did great. But her nail polish for her hands never dried even after sitting in the chair for over an hour. Which we ended up having to take her polish off her hands. Her toes dried but it was also a different color. Now the lady that did my feet started off good but once they had 2 other customers walk in she rushed through my pedicure and moved on to them. Then another lady did my nails which should have been a basic manicure with gel polish and the lady who ended up doing my hands did a horrible job got polish on other parts of my hands. and the polish was very caked on and not shapped. walked out pain over $150 just to have to go to another nail salon for them to redo my nails. read more

This place is not as bad as some of the reviews on here allude to. Let's be honest, all the nail salons in the CDA/Spokane area are pretty terrible compared to other cities in the country, it just is what it is. My nails look fine, my manicurist was polite and worked at a speed that was quick enough to where it didn't take forever but also not so quick that the quality turned out low. I would recommend the salon invest in a few more brushes to remove excess polish from around the cuticle since that's what usually ends up looking bad. I will definitely go back though. read more

Both my self and my daughter received a HORRIBLE pedicure and full set of acrylic nails. One technician didn't know how to add a tip to a toenail and if you look at the photo, it was very POORLY done. Very sloppy and disinterested in doing a professional job. Daughter had cuticles ravaged and dry, left 2 cuticles bleeding and all of them burning, technician sprayed hand sanitizer on her fingers, which made them burn even more! Technician didn't even apologize! THEN we were overcharged for the acrylics, which it was clearly noted on the menu of services. Menu said $32.00 but was charged $50.00! Complained to owner - Carol, but she was not at all willing to make the customer happy or even apologize for the terrible service. She also needs to speak better English, if she wants to be understood. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY!!!!! Better places out there. read more

This was probably the worst place I've ever been. I'm not going to name any names but my nail tech was rushing the entire time, going so fast that at one point he burned me with the spinning tool. In the pictures below, you can see what I wanted vs what I got. It looks so sloppy, for the lines aren't even whatsoever. I told him I wanted the line lower, and he said," no it looks good here." I have anxiety so I just kinda went along with it, but I didn't expect the lines to look THIS bad. At one point, he randomly tried to put grey glitter on my nails and that's when I said no. I never even asked for it he just randomly put it on? Regardless, I paid in full and still tipped him a generous amount but DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU HAVE ANY DESIGNS THAT MIGHT BE REMOTELY HARD. Walked in for a repair I had awesome nails but had been out of town and could not schedule with regular nail tech...OMG only one nail was lost and I needed a new one but..without a word CAROL took the nail cutters and grabbed a hold of each nail still glued on and cut them TORE each of my nails off cutting the edge of each and then twisting the nail until it tore lose of the nail bed...VERY PAINFUL...she had no color to offer other than a pale nude pinky color....went back in to my reg tech..she said that that was an old Asian trick..so I got a whole new set of not needed nails for 45.00 with a lousy rude nail tech...what was worse...I was getting ready to write a ck and she grabbed a hold of my checkbook and riffled thru the checks telling me I had miss a ck...in the meantime quizzing me as to whether I was writing a bad ck or was that really my checkbook or my account..etc etc read more

I left feeling that my customer service was less than par or deserved for the paid price of $45 for a simple mani and pedi. I recommend if you are choosing to have your nails done here that you make a reservation. As a walk in I was moved three times from my original spot to accommodate others that were coming in. I would also give a word of caution that you must be a mind reader to know they do not accept credit cards.... Of any kind. But you can use the ATM and be charged the nominal fee or buy something at the store for cash back...as recommended by the shops owner. I visited Nail Palace today and everything was going great until a customer showed up without a mask even though it is currently required to wear one. A second customer showed up with a mask and saw the mask less woman. She then said to her 'I'll join you' and took off her mask. The employees at the salon did not enforce their customers not wearing masks! I paid for a deluxe service and was not able to enjoy this because I just wanted to get out of there ASAP. My friend called Nail Palace while I was there and specifically asked the employee who answered the phone if everyone was wearing masks and she said YES!!! At this point there were 3 customers not wearing masks. These women were incredibly disrespectful and rude to expose the employees and customers to Covid 19. Unfortunately, this has caused Nail Palace to lose at least one customer. read more

Prices are great and not too pricey. Came with some girlfriends for a wedding party and our nails turned out great. I'm visiting from out of town and went in today for my second time! (Went last year when I was visiting too) They were lovely! The wonderful lady that did my nails did a fabulous job. (She sat in the first chair when I entered...but I didn't get her name.) She talked through everything with me and made sure that everything from the shape to the color were right for me. I was impressed that she was making sure that the other customers were able to communicate clearly with their technicians and able to get what they needed too. I've always had a good experience whenever I've been here. I got Sue my first time here, and she did a great job, so I've continued to book my appointments with her. She pays great attention to detail and makes sure I leave happy every time. She makes light conversation but not too much. A manicure is $12, a pedicure is $20. I was iffy to try this place because of the reviews on here but quite honestly I am not sure why there are such reviews. I have been here several times now. Probably around 5x. The usual I get is pedicures and gel manicure. It has been a lovely experience thus far with everyone that has worked on my nails. I have found everyone to be very friendly and sweet. And best of all and most important they do a great job!! My gel ALWAYS last a good 3-4 weeks! And that says a lot for a mother of two who is constantly washing hands, doing house chores etc. I also find their pricing to be very fair and comparable to other valley nail places. Yes it's true only cash or check which can be a little bit of inconvenience but because of their great work and friendliness I am okay with and will continue to go here. Last of all, one time we went in with my sister in law and our 4 nieces. It was close to them closing and we called in prior to ensure they would still take us and they gracefully did! I used to love coming here for pedicures. I don't live in the area anymore - the last pedi I had at Nail Palace was a year and a half ago, but I was visiting my mother and we decided to go on a whim. I didn't recognize any of the techs, but got right in on a Monday afternoon. Unfortunately, the gal who was available was rude, harsh, and very quick. She barked at me, spent about two minutes on each procedure and asked me in a disgusted tone, "are you sure you want this color? It doesn't look like anything!" I was actually shocked. I assured her it was, thank you. I am an innkeeper and know that it is exceptional service that can make all the difference. Maybe something will change to make them understand this? I used to love to come to the Nail Palace and chat with the warm techs who worked here. I will not be back. On a side note, my mom had a very nice young woman who was more attentive. read more

This is a top notch nail salon. In the five plus years I have had services there, I have never even sat down to wait. I just call a day ahead. Carol is a first class act that manages her technicians incredibly well. I have made appointments with Cathy for three years. The value I have received from her is beyond any other salons. The complimentary wine -what a plus! They treat you well, and my pedis can last up to six weeks. They are welcoming and my feet have never felt better-it is so worth paying for the spa pedi - you will have the same relation effects as a full body massage! read more

One star is generous. I took my 7 year old daughter and her friends here for a spa party. What a joke! They made the young girls sit in the waiting room chairs instead of the nice pedicure chairs. I don't know about you, but when it comes to a birthday party with 7 year old girls, you don't want the people you hired to paint their toes snapping at them and making them feel less than welcome. If I could give a zero stars I would. I had been previously and had a good experience but clearly they've changed. We didn't have appointments and were walk-ins, they acted like they could fit us in but took 20 minutes just to get to us. I wanted acrylics and was the first of my party to be helped. Which meant I was also the first of my party to be tortured. The tech was rude and made snide remarks to me; asking if I had ever had nails before because I pulled away when she filed the skin on the tips of fingers instead of my nails and when I mentioned that I wasn't used to the tips of my fingers getting filed she told me it was my fault because I wanted short nails. Yes, blame the customer, that is a great business tactic. In addition to cuts on the tips of my fingers from her filing, the nails are not straight and are at an angle but I couldn't handle anymore filing so I didn't as for her to fix them. I was also surprised that she didn't push back, cut, or oil my cuticles. One of the others in my party got a pedicure and the tech literally used a cheese grater, like a for real from the store grater for food, on her foot and didn't stop when she asked as it hurt her. Her foot now very much hurts and she's having a hard time walking. The other in our group was not interested in more waiting and didn't get her nails done. If you ask me, she is the lucky one. There is so much wrong with this location, we should have read the reviews and gone elsewhere. I would recommend going somewhere, anywhere else. read more

They don't take cards. Of course they don't tell you that until you're done so you have to run to the bank to get cash off your credit card. They kept running in and out to their cars, bathrooms, storage rooms etc and the. Would just start touching you without washing. Too busy talking to each other to pay attention to their customers. Super rude. Left nail polish all over my hands and feet. The amount they left on my finger tips is so thick it's causing my skin to crack and so she tried to sand it off using a sanding burr so now my fingers are all inflamed and I have my wedding tomorrow.
