My friends and I who have been here multiple Times had a disappointing experience during our recent visit to this salon's VIP room. Although the room had been reserved in advance, the moment we arrived, we sensed something was off. Several staff members kept walking back and forth, eyeing our group and engaging in hushed, animated conversations in their language, which made us uncomfortable. It almost felt like our presence was unexpected or they were scrambling to adjust to our group of six--possibly because a bridal party which we had seen in the room had just finished and ran over time. Without confirming our service choices, the technicians immediately started our pedicures--soaking feet and trimming nails--which felt rushed and impersonal. They continued conversing in a tone that seemed frustrated, so much so that another staff member came in and told them "shhh" with an angry gesture, confirming our suspicion that something was wrong. On top of that, there was confusion about the service menu. The women on one side of the room (my side) were given the regular menu and chose their services accordingly, while the men on the other side received the VIP menu--something we weren't even aware of until later. The techs proceeded without issue, never correcting us or mentioning a different menu for the VIP room. But mid-service, a man who appeared to be a manager or owner interrupted to tell us we couldn't use the regular menu because we were in a "very special room." When we pushed back, explaining we were never informed about this policy during booking, at the front desk, or by the techs (who clearly didn't follow it either), he eventually agreed to honor our selections "this one time only." Still, it felt like a bait-and-switch--especially since the regular menu was already on our side, likely left by the previous party. Afterward, we all agreed that this experience felt disorganized and possibly exploitative, especially for a large group. If there truly are different prices or services tied to the VIP room, this should be disclosed clearly at the time of booking and again at check-in--not halfway through the service. And the staff should know this policy and not allow us to pick from the routine menu. Unfortunately, we won't be returning. I hope the management considers being more transparent about their VIP room policies, perhaps charging a separate booking fee instead of quietly enforcing a more expensive menu. We also noticed a $10 price discrepancy for the same pedicure (lemon drop) between the two menus, which adds to the inconsistency. Also, please consider asking your techs to speak English when around clients to avoid any discomfort or misunderstandings. I've heard of salons implementing similar practices this helps decrease the thought process that your employees are talking about the clients. I too speak another language but when around my patients my coworkers and I only speak in English. read more

Decided to treat myself and go with acrylics with French tip...I asked when I sat down how much it would be...and estimated like $40-50 and she laughed and said no...it's $60 just for acrylics but $15 extra for French tip- so a total of $75! This seemed super pricey to me, but I was there and just went for it...I mean it's a nice place and they do a good job, but I didn't even get a hand massage and my lady kept commenting on my hyper hyperhydrosis (constant sweating on my hands- medical condition). On the plus side, this was the first time I was told not to use lotion or sunscreen on my nails bc it would turn them yellow, so appreciated that info and always wondered about that. She was also very good about double checking on me and if I was satisfied with length and shape... I ended up paying $67 and tipped about $7 on top. I like the spot, but I feel I could get the same work done with better pricing and service elsewhere. I came in to get Gel X nails and within 12 hours, 8 of them had completely fallen off (I have been getting Gel X nails for the last year at many different places and they have always lasted for around a month). I came in the next day and they redid my nails with Gel X again, performed by a different technician. Somehow by the end of that same day, my nails had started falling off AGAIN. Extremely frustrating experience. I went in to ask for a refund (not wanting to sit down for another hour and a half to fix my nails again), and they instead offered me a gift card equal to my original purchase plus $10 to compensate for 3 hours of my wasted time. Today, my usual pedicure technician was on vacation, which was no problem at all--everyone deserves a break! I was scheduled with another technician, Tracy. Unfortunately, my experience with her was not up to the standard I've come to expect from Nail Palazzo. Tracy was disengaged, rushed through the entire service, and seemed completely uninterested in the outcome. The result reflected that lack of care, and it was honestly one of the poorest pedicures I've received, despite my generally easygoing nature. What prompted me to write this, however, wasn't just the service itself--it was the response (or lack thereof) when I politely expressed my concern. I mentioned at checkout that I wasn't satisfied with the service, not to receive a discount or a redo, but simply to share honest feedback. To my surprise, the person at the front desk didn't even acknowledge my comment. When I asked why, she simply said Tracy is one of their "top technicians" and that I was likely just used to the other technician's service--as if my experience wasn't valid. This lack of acknowledgment was disappointing. Feedback--especially from long-time customers--should be welcomed, not dismissed. I'm still deciding whether I'll return, as I've genuinely appreciated the quality of service in the past. Her nail tech was very rough, rude and wouldn't listen to her. The gel powder was so dirty, she had to drill off the chunks of whatever was in it. She drilled and filed her skin past her cuticles to the point she bled on every finger. The nail tech had to wait until the bleeding stopped to finish.
