I came and got a tap gel overlay on my very long natural nails at the beginning of January. T did my nails and she was great. I was charged $70 for the service and was very pleased. I just moved to Texas and was excited I found a clean place that was affordable and did good service. I came back today and got a tap gel fill. I had cut my natural nails down a few days ago very short because they got too long to manage but I didn't have time to come in yet. So I showed up with very short nails and I asked to shape them and do French again. I was charged $75. I asked the front desk about the pricing and she told me $55 for the fill, $5 for shape, and $15 for design, which I totally understand. I'm just not sure how I paid $70 for medium length, coffin shape, white French full set in January. And $75 for a short, almond, pink French fill in February. Tiffany did my pedicure today and she was amazing, such a sweet lady. I just wish they were uniform with their pricing, it's very misleading. I probably won't be back. read more

Nail Spa Allure has a spacious, inviting, and clean atmosphere. My nail technician was Lin. I specifically stated that I wanted a thin layer of acrylic. This was not done because she utilized a powder with deeper color which I did not ask for and my appointment ticket clearly stated Acrylic with Gel Nail. The addition of the Gel Nail Polish created even thicker layer with the thick base she laid. This deeper color acrylic powder does cost more which is sometimes done in these nail salons, finding ways to create add-ons to an already expensive service. During my nail service there would be 3-4 people walking by staring making things very uncomfortable, decreasing my confidence in this highly recommended nail technician. Lin did have great techniques and skills while doing the manicure, cleaning, and clearing previous acrylic layers. I then showed her the design that I wanted for my nails. She proceeded to actually take my phone to the front I guess to ask the manager cost for the design. This is very unprofessional to take a customer's phone out of sight. I thought she was going to take a picture but she took my phone as this has never happened to me. This is my first time this shop, I don't know this woman or these people. She came back 1-2 minutes later, stating the cost for the design would be $40. Mind you this is one of my favorite designs although on 4 nails, it is rather simple. By my previous technician, would charge $20 at most for literally white lines on one nail, polka dots on another, and a straight line of rhinestones on the 2 other nails. But I figured things may have changed over a year and I really wanted this look. She dragged out the rhinestone design (15-20 minutes) like she was painting a mural. I was getting sick from the number of times I had to go under the UV light. I'm not sure if it was lack of skill or expertise, but no way are you charging this type of money for such low level of skill. Another unprofessional incident that occurred during my visit was after the completion of my pedicure service, I guess her friend who would come around, stare, and make comments constantly - tried on my sandals, asked how much they cost, and put my bag on her shoulder. First off, only my nail technician should be holding or securing my personal items. Additionally, I brought my own DND Gel Polishes because in the past nail salons don't have the colors I like or the polish is old, thick, and goes on clumpy. Lin would not listen, creating such a fuss, and wanted to utilize their products which were DND but not the same color palettes. Customers have a say so in what they want for a service they are paying full price for. It was not like I asked for a discount because I used my own products or nail design jewelry. This place gave me such off, ick, and creepy vibes. I do not feel this place is for me and I will not be returning. read more

I had been going to this salon for now 5 years. Some times I get basic sets, and others I like some design. I used to only have one person do my nails, but recently I let anyone do them. They were all good and I normally can get 8 weeks out of one set. I moved 2 years ago and was driving 45 minutes one way to get my nails done from here. My last set was a fill, and I wanted French tips with a Mickey Mouse on two nails. The nail tech did four, and added things I didn't want (the eyes and bows, picture below.) That was fine, be creative. My problem was that this fill costed me 90.00 out right, no tip. I've never once spent 90 for a regular set, let alone a fill. I find it hard to believe it was 30 dollars worth of designs. Because of this, I will be finding a new place in my town to do my nails. If you want sets that will last, this is the place to go. Just beware it will be pricey. read more

Tried this place out cuz my normal guy is currently between shops n this place is close to my house. It's Very clean and the ladies all seem to know what they are doing. Even though the shop is on the smaller side I was impressed by how well maintained all the equipment is. Each station is quite close together on the Pedi side of the house but again everything is kept immaculately clean so it was not an issue for me. There were also a LOT of colors to choose from, both regular polishes, powders, and gels, which I liked, And there were many different spa treatments to choose from. I also liked that thery didn't charge you for every little thing. Ms Tina (I hope I remember your name right!) took really good care of me and did a bang up job of cleaning and trimming my toes and cuticles. She took her time I think since it was my first time there and she wanted to make a good impression, I also threw kind of a curve ball at her by bringing my own 3D decals for her to apply but she picked it up quickly and did a fantastic job with them (see pics)! Wow, what an amazing pedicure! Coming inside- Everything was so serene in here. A really cute front desk area with pretty tile work on the counter sides, and an iPad to check yourself in on (walk in or appt!) The pedi area was very clean and calming. The crystal chandelier was cute and made it feel very glam! The music was soft and spa like, and the place was comfortable and quiet. I got a deluxe pedicure and my nail technician was so kind. The polish came out perfect, and my foot & leg massage was one of the best I've ever had with a pedicure! She helped me get my sandals on the make sure I didn't smudge my polish (what sweet care!) and they had a toenail polish dryer station, something I haven't seen in this area in other places. I love it here because they are so sweet and accommodating! It's really close to my house which is very convenient. And whenever I come in they usually get me situated really quickly. The place is packed like sardines. No social distancing at all. Most of the techs had on masks but some of them didn't have them on correctly. None of the customers were wearing masks. I have been vaccinated but choose to wear a mask in public anyway. Very uncomfortable feeling as COVID cases in Bell County are increasing daily When I got ready to check out the girl told me my shellac mani was $55 which I was shocked by. She also told me my pedi was $28 which was a very basic pedi. So my total with a 20% tip was $99! She ran my credit card and then said she made a mistake that my nails should have been $35 so she gave me a $20 bill. However I added my tip based on a total that was $20 higher so even though she gave me a twenty I felt like I got ripped off because the tip would have been significantly less.
