We are new to Hutchinson and we went for pedicures and acrylic fills. We had the greatest experience here. My husband goes in every 6 weeks and was nervous because we are coming from Saint Paul and wasn't sure about getting his toes done here. They were super friendly and welcoming! I will never take my daughter to this nail salon again. She had long nails , he didn't ask and cut them very short. She asked me to write a review about how bas this place was to her. She has a pedi and mani. Her hands and fingers continually hurt. We have gone to other places and had wonderful results. 24 hours of pain...not a good place for anyone to go to. Don't bother - I will bite off my nails and do my own polish before going here. the owner was a complete jerk when we wanted to make an appointment. He didn't understand that we wanted a pedicure for one of us and manicure for the other. threw his pencil down and yelled "now I'm confused!" He shouldn't be in the service industry. read more

this place is ok for anything but acrylics. I got my nails done there, less than a week later 2 nails are ruined and one is falling off.

She can work with almost any design you give her and she will definitely leave you satisfied and happy with your nails. Very rushed and unprofessional. Wore political attire and pushed political agenda on customers. Publicly shamed 1 customer for the condition of her nails, while bragging about their own skill level. Referred to female farmers as unintelligent. One staff spent much time speaking poorly of his wife. They report they dislike customers over 70 because they are "too picky and hard to deal with". Terrible, terrible customer service. I had already heard allot of bad things about this Salon in the mall, but I work in this mall so I figured I'd go here to get my nails done to see for my self. 1st two times, wasn't bad, I personally liked the guy that did my nails, I thought he spent a fair amount of time, for pretty good work he actually did my favorite nail design that I've ever had. (Sam is his name I'm sure). 3rd time, totally different story. I go in with my mom to schedule an appointment 1 for her 1 for me, they only had a 6:30 appointment left, so only 1 of us could get our nails done, so we decided to schedule it on a Friday when they had time. On the way home, I ended up breaking a nail pretty far down on my nail bed, this was the first time it happened to me and I was pretty freaked out. I called the nail salon back to see if they still had that 6:30 appointment available, they did, and put me down in the appointment book. We go in a bit before 6:30, and the dude at the desk was rude, "I already told you I don't have time for you," is what he kept saying. My mom tried to explain that I called to take the 6:30 appointment, but he wasn't listening, and just super rude. So I explain two I told him I broke a nail and called to get the 6:30 appointment that day and to remove my appointment on Friday. I could see my name written in for 6:30 to on the appointment book. He responds with "I don't have time someone is coming in," I point to my name on the appointment book and tell him, yes that is me and showed him the matched name with the Friday appointment we had made earlier. I was calm explaining, even through he was rude with unreasonable anger toward the situation. "No, we don't have time, we have an appointment," is what he kept saying no matter how many different ways we explained that this appointment was made via phone by myself, and that the name is me, and that no one was coming in for the 6:30 appointment because it is MY appointment with MY NAME clearly written in the book. After 15 minutes this I just say "Fine, we will take our business elsewhere," and we leave. Nothing even remotely as rude as he was being to us. I let it go and just didn't go back there to get my nails done, but I work at this mall and my 7 year old daughter wanted to get her nail's painted (an at most 10 minute appointment she got them done for 5 dollars and it took 5 minutes at Di'Va Nails in Walmart) they had 3 different employees that were customer free at the time we came in, and that same dude quickly and without even looking tells me he doesn't have time for a child paint. I look around the almost customer less salon and wonder if he just has a problem because this is my daughter wanting her nails done, I figure that's probably far fetched considering how many customers they anger in a single day, which I hear throughout town all the time; until my friend tells me that while she was getting her nails done, this same guy stopped doing her nails to talk about me and how "rude," I was, he tells her that I blamed them for breaking my nail, and went on about me apparently for a good 10 minutes while not doing my friends nails who just wanted him to do the manicure (she has had bad experiences there two, they blamed her for breaking a nail and were super rude about discounting her nails when her nails came off a day or two after she got them done multiple times and they barely even gave her a discount and were yelling at her while she was just explaining why she was there). I never blamed them for my nail breaking, I called and successfully made an appointment at 6:30 and came in early for them to tell me they couldn't do the appointment, even though it was scheduled right in front of our face. I was calm, my mom was calm, and all I said was "Fine, we will take our business elsewhere." The only reason I kept going here to this salon, despite the stories I'd heard from people I knew, was because the employee Sam, did a good job on my nails, and was never rude to me. I'd recommend promoting this employee, or another Nail Salon hire him, I'd hate for this review to affect him in anyway. But I'd NEVER recommend anyone go here, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, and my friend has had 3 or 4 bad experience with not just the customer service, but the work that was done to her nails as well. I accept that they didn't want my business, I certainly didn't want to go back for acrylics on myself, but to take your anger out on my 7 year old, is just ridiculous. And terrible service. Da'Vi Nails in Walmart is AWESOME, they have GREAT customer service, their nails are flawless, and they are amazing with children (and kids get 20% off of acrylics). They interact well with kids, they remember what they've done in the past, and who you come with, and give great advice. The best Nail Salon Hutchinson has to offer, my 9 year old sister loves them, and my daughter and her best friend do as well. read more

They were terrible! Both me and a coworker went. Out nails weren't fully painted and it cost a lot for a gel pedicure. Somebody else had come in while I was there to get her nails fixed. They charged her $5 to fix something she had done the day before. read more
