It doesn't look like much from the outside, but walking in it's actually a really spacious spot. I would HIGHLY recommend calling to make an appointment ahead of time to avoid a long wait. The ladies in here were always working on someone every time I came in (3 times now). This isn't a shop you go to for a relaxing, spa-like experience, but it is somewhere you can go for a nice and casual girl chat and good service. They always play more modern hit music on Pandora here which sets the tone for a pretty fun experience. I've seen three different nail techs here for a gel removal, and gel manicure and pedicure with an ombre or special design and each time the job is done as expected. I've paid between $85-$90 for this service, which is pretty standard to what I am used to. As I search for my go-to shop I will likely be back because I can rely on good service here. I've been looking for a place that can give me the designs and quality I want and also not have to worry about language barriers or being forced to try different services. I think I've found it. I pass this place all the time and thought I'd give it a try, since the mail places I've been goi g to have fallen short on actually LISTENING to what I want. So glad I did! I called ahead and got an appt, first thing in the morning. When I got there, I was greeted immediately with a smile and brought to my tech. She was awesome. She asked if I had a pic of the design I had in mind and she picked all my colors for me. She was conversational but not too much. The ambiance was very cool and relaxed. Along the way, she always checked in with me to make sure everything looked the way I wanted or if she needed to make adjustments. I recently moved to Hampton and I've been looking for a new nail spot. I read all the mixed reviews about this location but the picture looked cute so I figured why not. On my first visit yesterday, I arrived after the cut off time for a full set. I called prior to but didn't make it known that I was on my way or what I wanted so that's my fault. However, they kindly helped me set up an appointment for the following morning as soon as they open up. It was very simple. I was looking forward to returning because all the women seemed very friendly and I loved the ambiance. My appointment was set for 10am today. I arrived 20 mins early and there was one nail tech already there. (If you're reading this I'm sorry I forgot to ask for your name!) I told her my appointment was at 10am and she assisted me right away. She did a GREAT job on my nails. I love them. This is now my new nail spot. I made it a point to post the prices as well. I was looking for them myself and couldn't find them anywhere. If you're considering visiting, I would HIGHLY recommend it. Call and make an appointment right now. This place is a little gem. My gel manicure peeled off the same evening I received the service. The young lady that performed my service was talk to texting on her phone the entire time. She was not an experienced technician. She had to ask another technician what their Journey service even was which tells you she's inexperienced. Did not know how to file nails well. I had polish all outside of my nails. Completely unrelated I know, but that and the fact that this place had good reviews definitely aided in my decision to come here to get my nails done. I called weeks in advance to book my appointment as I was preparing to be a bridesmaid in my cousins wedding. Even still I waited about 15 mins after my appointment time to have me full set started. No biggie. I originally booked for a full set and a pedicure. At the time of booking I was told that there may not be availability. So I opted for only a manicure. At the time of my appointment they were taking walk ins though?? Anyway, my nails came out pretty good. Atmosphere isn't the most professional. The girls there are fairly young and talk more amongst themselves than to their patrons. The young lady who did my nails was very friendly and she did well. I only needed a basic almond nude nail. The shaping could have been a little better but it was decent for what I needed. I'll continue my search for the perfect nail salon but if I'm in need for another manicure I would def consider coming back. read more

I went to Nail'd it for a full set for my graduation. The "boss" lady did my nails. The salon was pretty, the atmosphere was sort of like you walked into a classroom where everyone knows each other but you're the new girl lol. They talked amongst themselves and I had a few laughs. I wanted the nails in the last picture, but I just couldn't bring myself to pay over $100 for a full set. Maybe I'm old fashioned. So I got one nail in the "unicorn" powder and just decided r forego the expensive jewels. In total, it cost me $63 plus the tip that I left. Which to me, was still over priced; but again, maybe I'm just old fashioned. The shape of my nails was awesome, however, once painted, I was super impressed and I was a bit underwhelmed. I haven't had my nails done in years and decided to treat myself. The shop is minimalistic and very clean. My technician was polite but the entire time was spent in dead silence. While conversation is not required, it did make the experience slightly awkward. My nails were ok. The paint didn't last as long as I would have liked. At least for the tips. The base paint was fine for the most part. I only like having them done twice a month at most and after a week I'm needing them done again. I don't like that they didn't ensure the nails were the same length. I'm finicky that way. I also came home with acrylic all over my hands. I was picking acrylic off my fingers for days. I don't do any hard labor and I've been off work since Wednesday at noon. My days has been quiet home on sofa so for my nails too be chip/cracked up is unacceptable for $45. I got the hot wax pedicure & basic pedi. Houda was the technician who did not get my cuticles, I have hang nails both hands & feet. My feet are not smooth an when I share that with her she was more concerned with me splash water verse making sure my foot was smooth. I am so happy to have found this little place in my neighborhood -- on one of the more recent spring weather days I decided I wanted a pedicure. I called over to the salon to see if I needed an appointment. They informed me they take walk-ins, but they'd be happy to schedule me as well. I went over later that afternoon. I've definitely been to fancier nail salons - all posh and zen. This wasn't that - more of a hip, functional vibe. My stylist was quick and efficient, letting me relax and enjoy a half hour of perfect peace and quiet (so rare with a toddler!). It's now a good two weeks later and my polish is still perfect. I came with my girlfriend and had a phenomenal experience. We both got the spa pedicures & manicure and the massage chairs were amazing. Very clean as to every single station used was sanitized heavenly after each customer. Staff extremely nice and informative during the entire process. Gentle is an understatement when we are talking about the level of care given when cutting dead skin and cuticles, they were on point! I usually flinch and move and often experience pain in a form or bother but not here! My girl really enjoyed her self and the level of professionalism and care everyone took that she encountered. The girl that did my pedicure was a sweet heart but she couldn't get my corners good so my big toes were still bothersome when she finished. Very casual kind of place if that's your thing, I'd rather get in and out with a tech who's focused on me. Went here for the first time on 10/23 to get a fill in, cut down, and reshape of my acrylic coffin nails. I called the evening prior to ensure they take walk ins and to inquire about what time they opened for business. The woman on the phone was easy to understand and she was super friendly! I came about 1400 and had a wait of a few minutes. The other worker was out and about but coming back in. One lady started my nails grinding the polish off until the other came back. They were super friendly and spoke to everyone who came in as if they knew them for years. I really liked the way they cut my nails down.. instead of clipping she used a drill to bring them down which was much more comfortable for me. She shaped my nails in the perfect coffin.. absolutely perfect that no where I've had a fill has gotten. I opted for no polish/design because I was running late for a wedding.. that is my fault not the fault of the shop. I came in later than I had wanted. I put on nail wraps after I got home. Overall for a fill in, cut down, shaping, and repair of 2 nails the total was $20. An hour and a half into it and the girl just started putting color on my daughter's nails. Update - the nails were so/so. I paid 57 for a set and eyebrow wax, before tip. The next morning, one nail popped off. The whole nail. How do acrylic nails just pop off?? We didn't have time to return for them to fix it, so she had to use nail glue and actually glue it back on. 2 days later, 5 nails have nearly come off. This is my updated review. Nail'd It has become my go to spot to for my mani/ pedis. 1. It's clean, important if you're putting anything near my nail beds. I want no fungus! 2. The staff is friendly. I have interacted with many of the technicians and while I may have my favorites, I can honestly say they were all proficient at their job. 3. In my initial review I was concerned about detail, well that has been put to rest. I have found overwhelmingly they are meticulous about getting the finish correct and the one time I had an issue with the way the polish was being applied the technician corrected it with no problems. Also, their nail art is stunning. Not a service that I get but I've seen it done on others and it is good work. I have brought back a few off my family members and recommended them to a friend.
