Awful customer service and communication. Do not waste your time with this company! Had them come out a few months ago to review work needed to be done and provide a quote for the work. They came out and let me know when to expect this quote. I called them a week after that date asking about when I should expect it but was not given any information or details on what was going on. Asked if I could speak to someone on this and they said no but they will have them give me a call which never happened. I called twice more (once a week or so after that call and then one more recently which was a few months after they came out) and each time I was given the same bs from them with no follow up. We hired him for 3 jobs and regret doing so. One was reattaching a shower door hinge to the wall. He did, but a year later the repair failed. The second was to repair a faucet and sink pedestal. His painting and grout work was poor. The third task was a 3 way kitchen wall switch. He tried but couldn't fix it so he just left halfway through, leaving the switch hanging and project undone. After receiving my package and being super excited, I realized that I had absolutely NO idea how to install a new showerhead without breaking the current one (I currently rent so that would have been a terrible idea). Michael from Nailed It has been to our house 3 times. The first visit went well, the second ok, and the third poorly. He was unable to complete the scheduled jobs during the third visit and left two electrics repairs unfinished. He cancelled his follow-on appointment with us on the day of service, leaving the repairs hanging, and now won't return calls or answer texts. A real shame and a poor showing. The jobs he did well were the repair of a leaky shower handle and mix valve, and a shower door hinge that was coming out of the wall. The fair job was the replacement of a faucet that required moving a pedestal sink. The sink was put back in a different position, loose and leaving discolored marks on the floor, and we had to ask him to caulk it. He did, but it's appearance suffered. The incomplete jobs are both electrical, a multi-way kitchen light switch (lights operated from different switches) and a ceiling fan wall switch. After a month of unanswered texts I hired an electrician who completed both jobs. For the basic plumbing and hardware jobs, his work is satisfactory and can be recommended. For electrical jobs or those that require more demanding aesthetics, I cannot recommend. They offer a one year guarantee, but that has little value if the person that gives it won't return calls. read more

He made an appointment with me to show up and give me an estimate. He selected the day and time. The appointment time he quoted was "late morning afternoon" When I asked for clarification on that, I received no response. By 2:00pm on the day he was scheduled to come, he still had not shown up, nor had he texted to say when or if he was actually coming. When I sent a follow up text asking for a timeframe, or if he was still coming, I received no response. Needless to say its the next day...I'm still waiting for a response as to when, if ever, he plans to come. I'm not sure how someone does business this way.
