Came here on a Sunday afternoon after calling to see if they had availability. Fortunately, they had had availability for two pedicures. Staff was friendly and corrected a miscommunication quickly (my friend wanted regular polish, but the nail tech started putting gel polish on). Salon was clean and prices seemed reasonable. My only reason for this review is to hopefully help someone not have the same experience as I did. So let's start with how I wasn't asked for water or any kind of beverage my entire pedicure. Mind you, the pedicure I bought which was $63 said it included a drink, but was not asked once. Not even for water. The young lady doing my pedicure cut my skin on both my big toes. Never apologized, but did put some kind of antibiotic liquid on it which burned like hell. I will include pictures of my toes. I had to REMIND the nail tech 3 times to cure my gel. She kept forgetting to do so. Overall worse pedicure I have EVER gotten. I don't do this often & when I do I look forward to a good experience. This was the complete opposite. Sadly I will not be returning to this place I used to always go too. Beware please, the young gal didn't seem experienced or licensed for that matter. Who the hell forgets to CURE GEL?!? I never write negative reviews for things unless I truly believe what I'm writing, I have been coming here for a while and have been satisfied with how my nails came out everytime. Only this last time, I was left baffled. I had my usual French tip gel manicure done, only he kept asking me to hold the UV light myself?? I did it without saying anything and thought it was really weird, especially considering the high price they charge. They're also very rough when it comes to cutting and filing! I ended up bleeding once with polish applied directly to the cut. Nails came out okay but I hate to have to find a new place; but after that, I don't want to come back. read more

Omg Tommy was so sweet! He checked in twice to make sure I was okay with the scrubbing of my legs and nail cleaning. His attention to detail is awesome, and you can tell he cared about the services he was providing (pedicure). My mom and I went here on a whim one Saturday morning and wow - were we impressed! We were seated almost right away and offered a beverage of choice (even though we politely declined, it was so thoughtful of them to offer). Johnny gave me the most gorgeous gel French pedicure I've had in quite some time, I wish I would've taken pictures! 3 weeks later after my mom's and my amazing experience, I decided to give this place another go around. As luck would have it, I had Johnny again as my pedicurist as a walk-in! He is literally so talented and yet again, delivered such a beautiful pedicure with amazingly soft feet. Covid-19 phase: Finally have time to get my nails done. Newer salon. Very nice and clean. Masks worn by workers and required. I was sat down at a table after picking a dip sparkly color #113. Keep the nails natural. The worker was very nice. All were! They had very calm music playing. The worker even offered champagne or a mimosa or water while getting my nails done. Great! I checked out and used my visa and you can add the tip on the new register aka iPad. Makes even easier! My nails are sparkly and great! Really happy with them! I feel bad writing this and I really wanted to give them a better review but I can't wholeheartedly do this and send folks here without sharing my experience. I have gone here several times out of convenience/location and wanting to support a small business and almost every time have an issue here. I have finally decided I have seen all that I need to see and I will not return. My first experience is that every time I come here I am talked out pd getting what I want. I wanted colored acrylic not clear with gel over it. For some reason they don't want to do this (maybe coast), and instead of arguing with them I just accept it. I have never had a peeling issue on acrylics but lifting yes. They're usually nice/pleasant but don't talk too much to me. My main issues: 1) The price here goes up for me every time. I have asked about this and they always have some sort of excuse to tell me on why they need to charge a good $15-$25 more. I don't get anything fancy so they're just doing this. Second and most important/possibly dangerous reason 2) my fingers are cut here almost every time. Perhaps once out of 6 times coming it didn't but they were sore (on the verge of bleeding). They will offer to take $5 off for cutting me but with the random $20 they tack ok I don't feel they're doing me a favor. I'm genuinely worried about getting a disease because when I bleed on the tools they're using I see them put the drill bit back in a communal box not barbicide. It makes me wonder who else is cut and what health problems they may have that I'm getting. My one finger got infected this last time so I am never coming back. This is my experience. I wanted to support them and gave them multiple chances, but things got worse and worse so I'm just saying no this time. read more

I am posting on my husband's yelp since I don't have my own and after my service there I felt the need to write a review of my experience. Sadly I would not recommend this nail salon. I'm giving this place three stars instead of two because the lady that did my regular pedicure did a wonderful job. I paid extra for second massage option and she delivered! I appreciated the care and focus she gave in her work and it certainly showed in the result. Now my gel manicure was done by another person and the color was not uniform and one of my nails already chipped after 3 days. On closer inspection I realized he did not cap the tips and that's likely why my nail chipped. It's partially my fault for not paying attention but for the price I paid I expect my nail tech to be better trained. He was inattentive and you can tell he does not want to be there. I will not be returning and will be going somewhere else. read more

First let me start off by saying that everybody in there is extremely pleasant. The pedicure was very well done including a scrub and a massage with some pressure points. The entire pedicure lasted about a half an hour I did not feel rushed and the pedicure itself was wonderful. Trimming the nails and a base coat and cover coat. Very well organized you pick a color out of a book and then they grab the color and bring it to you. Everything seemed clean in the facility. But what I didn't notice was that the equipment they used for the pedicure was just pulled out of the tote and then placed back in the tote when It was complete. I did question About autoclaving the equipment and they did say they do it and I did not see it. I will definitely return and see if there is evidence the next time and I will take their word for now. Service was great and pricing was reasonable. read more

I finally found a great place for a pedicure! After 30 years with the same manicurist, I have been searching for a place where I feel comfortable. I found Nailed it Spa on Yelp with suggestions by Nicola. It is a small, family owned salon that is clean and pretty. Everyone wears a mask. They have three levels of pedicures to pick from. I chose the luxury level ($55.00). My manicurist was Kimi who was very friendly and skilled. The luxury model included a hot wax and cold wash. The massage of my legs almost had me purring. Next was a collagen treatment. My feet were truly happy! Kimi picked a color of nail polish that matched my skin color. Needless to say my feet looked and felt absolutely great! Let me just start by saying the people were really nice and it wasn't about customer service. It was about the gel mani lasting only as long as a regular nail polish, which is a disappointment because they usually last longer than a few days. I got them done on Tuesday and it's been only five days...... I asked the guy to file my nails down before painting them but he said to file them after the polish was set.... for as much as I know you cap the edges with polish to make them last longer.... I really like going to Nailed It salon for a pedicure. It's always been clean & staff are nice. But this time, after paying & tipping, my receipt showed a 6% fee for using a credit/debit card. That is an unacceptable amount to charge especially since I'm sure that's not what they're charged from a bank. That means they're making a profit on their credit card charges. Kimmy was my manicurist and she knocked it out of the park! She helped me pick a color that was close to the picture I showed her and she did the art with no problem, I even decided to add some diamonds to the nails and they turned out SO CUTE! I knew I'd be coming back for sure. 2 weeks later I wanted to get my nails done again. So I made another apt. Again the staff was so friendly when I arrived. They were busier than last time. But I was accommodated immediately. Again, they helped me choose a color close to the picture that I showed them. And Kimmy went to work with the nail art! I received two pedicures over two months from Nailed It. The staff was very accommodating when I had to reschedule at the last minute. I felt like they did a decent job. Over the next month, I noticed that the cuticles of my big toes were red and puffy and they were getting more so as time went on. They were painful to the touch. I went to my PCP and received antibiotics in both pill and and ointment form. Then the oozing pus started, so I went to my dermatologist and got a different antibiotic and a steroid ointment. I've had two more follow-up appointments, two excruciating cultures, and two more rounds of antibiotics. After about four months, my nails hadn't grown at all, and both had also begun bleeding. It was painful to put on socks. It was painful to put on shoes. It was painful to walk or remove bandaids from them and both nails appeared ready to fall off. I visited my PCP again yesterday for an unrelated issue and she checked on my infection. An hour later, I got four shots directly into the nerves of each toe to numb them, a pain that far surpassed the tearing at both ends I experienced during the birth of my son, causing me to have a panic attack, and had the nails removed so they could begin healing. This was topped off with a shot of antibiotics in my butt. It's very possible that the nails won't grow back and meanwhile, they are both extremely painful and still causing me anxiety. I should have clarified that after seeing my doctor for my last visit she said that both toenails were ingrown on both sides. I've never had an ingrown toenail before and it looked normal for a few days, but as I mentioned, they became infected "over the next month." As it turns out, it can take quite a while for ingrown nails to become infected! (See screenshot of article from the Cleveland Health Clinic; I'll add the link below.) I had assumed my toes were just sore from being on my feet at work, which is why I didn't immediately go to the doctor. I'm glad to hear that the salon follows all of the required sanitation protocols. That was my initial concern when I saw that my toes were infected. I've been reading that it can take 6 months to a year for toenails to grow back (when they do grow back--most of the time, I hope!--and assuming they don't become prone to chronic infections), so the ordeal is far from over, but I do appreciate your well wishes. I just want everyone to be aware of the possible dangers of getting manicures/pedicures because I hadn't really thought about it seriously. Maybe they'll just ask not to have their nails trimmed too short next time. I wish the best for your business and I hope that additional training is part of your process going forward to prevent something like this from happening to others. I'm really lucky that I have a flexible job with great benefits, but not everyone would be able to take so much time off of work for doctors appointments or afford the numerous prescriptions and painful procedure that my situation required.
