Me and my friend made apptointments for a pedi at the same time. First off, they made the appt., but didn't honor it. We got there on time and had to wait 15 minutes. No biggie. We were shown to the chairs and waited another 5 minutes. The techs (is this the proper title??) came out, sat in front of us and proceeded to work on us without so much of a 'hi' or even eye contact. ugh. The pedicure itself wasn't horrible, but later I noticed that she didn't do a good job of filing away dead skin (not that there is that much...). They both finished pretty quickly, but 2 days later I realized that it was so quick because it wasn't a very good job. First chip of polish was the same night and they were all bad by day 2! what a waste of $20. Spend an extra $5 or $10 to go a salon that will actually give you a pedi thats last a week or two. read more

I personally love this nail studio. It is my go to place because it is easy, cheap and relaxing. I usually get a mani-pedi which is $30 and although sometimes there is a wait when you walk in- on a busy day you never wait more than 10 - 15 mins. There are so many nail "specialists" and stations, and nail colors (mostly OPI and Essie). I like this studio because it is right across the street from my school - FIU - so its super convenient and it is very clean and organized. When I feel like talking, whoever is doing my nails is willing to talk and when I just want to bury my head in a People magazine and be quiet they don't force conversation. Maybe not the fastest mani/pedi in town but it definitely has bang for its buck. If you want your same nail specialist every time an appointment is a must - otherwise walk in and relax. What an honest business! I went in on Sunday for a pedicure, and the tech did a great job- she even fixed the polish I messed up after I left. Anyhow, while my toes where drying, I pulled off my wedding and engagement rings to lotion my hand....somehow I walked out without them. First things first they DO NOT KNOW what taking off the excess hair of your eyebrow means they have an older woman working who will take your eyebrow completely off. You come with thick eyebrows and leave with pencil lines. Also we asked for a certain person to do them and they had other people come and do our eyebrows two different people at that. This place is quick, the people are good and you do not need an appointment. They have a great selection of Essie, and opi hot new colors. They completely disregarded my time and the time of another woman of color while catering to those weren't women of color. The other woman decided to leave because she was ignored entirely. I was told to wait until after one woman asked for a wax. Once she finished, I went to the tech and she said she had to do a pedicure despite there not being anyone in front of her. Then another woman who just finished getting a manicure went to her I spoke with her. They need to cater to all clients equally because I was very frustrated with my treatment. No one should be ignored especially when they're a potential client wanting to be serviced like anyone else. They should be ashamed. read more

I've gotten plenty of less than average manicures at nails 4 u but this pedicure is the worst ever all my toes burn i asked her to cut my nails but who cuts nails to the point that the skin under is red it's down right unacceptable. There's chunks taken out of my toes and even the paint job is awful. I can't believe it cost $20 for my feet to hurt this bad. read more

Got my acrylic filled in and it was such a disgusting job. There are all sorts of lumps from the acrylic which shows through the nail polish. There's tons of left over acrylic powder under my nails. The girl was nice but nails are not for you. The nails are all crocked and different lengths. I realized there was nothing she could do to fix them because she just sucked in general. I was so angry that I just decided to leave and still gave a small tip for a time. I hope she improves. read more

I've been coming here for about 5 years on and off. It's really frustrating that if your not on time to your appointment they give it away. On the other hand when your here on time and your nail girl doesn't show up for 30 minutes you have to wait for them? This salon has no concept or respect for someone's time. The owner Cindy didn't say a word, she didn't even call the nail tech, instead another nail tech saw me getting frustrated and she called. The girl said she would be here in ten minutes. Then why make me an appointment at 10:15 if the girl isn't gonna show up until almost 11am? I have a flight to catch today at 3pm and when I called to make the appointment I informed them. I told the girl on the phone please make sure that she is on time. I have a limited time to do my mani/pedi and go to the airport. I would of made the appointment another day but the nail tech was on vacation. Honestly I think I'm waiting to find a new nail tech I like so I can go somewhere that respects their clients time. Let me mention that this is not the first time it happens. This happens almost every other time. OH AND ALSO I WAS OVER HEARING THAT THEIR TECHS LICENSE EXPIRE and they don't renew it for months. They over book their techs, and they have no customer service or respect for your time. Also, a few months back when I came back to this salon because I so desperately needed a mani/pedi, they sat me down with a new nail tech....OMG what a horrible experience. I had long nails and they tech cut and filed them down to my skin. I felt bad and finished and went to the owner Cindy. Avoid! I had a no chip manicure yesterday and the lady removed so much of the top layer of my nail bed my nails were left bumpy and sore I actually had to tell her to stop. She then got carried away with the cuticle clippers and went down too low, tugging and pulling at the sensitive skin around my nail. Today my cuticle area is so sore and red. The wrong type of nail polish was used, so the lady had to take it all off and start again, as it was not designed for no chip use. Luckily my nails grow fast, so hopefully the damage to my nail bed will grow out quickly , but I wouldn't recommend this salon based on my experience. I've been trying different nail salons in the area in search of someone that can do acrylics without butchering my nails or having it look like playdo. My normal nail lady in way down south and I'm tired of driving all the way. So I gave it a go today. Irina did my pedi and she was great, nice massage. Isma did my acrylic nails and they look wonderful. Very natural and not sloppy. She was actually the gentlest person I've had apply my acrylics, even surpassing my beloved nail lady. Hopefully the nails will stand the test of time, but so far I am beyond happy that I found such a great place. The man who was tending the front was very welcoming and even came by to check if everything was alright as I was drying my nails. This is a very welcome change from your typical Asian nail places where they tend to be very aloof (it must be a cultural thing). read more

Mannn. I am so aggravated right now. I went there less than a week ago to get a simple gel set and I Kid you not just about EVERY. SINGLE. NAIL. is chipped or broken in some way. Not only did it take them 2.5 hours just to get my nails done but they were done so poorly it makes no since. They did not look that bad but you could tell the coats were uneven because she put like 3 coats of colour and then the 2 coats of top coat. I finally leave just to have all of them broken off and split down the middle on every single nail. I am not happy and I will not be back. ugh. read more

I will never go back to this place. The place is TRASH!!! I went to get a gel mani/regular pedicure. I went on a Saturday. The girl doing my feet didn't speak English so someone next to her translated for me and yet she still did the wrong thing which ended up with me paying more. But the REAL problem....their gel manicures. There is noooo way in the world my hands should look like I didn't get a manicure and I only got it done 1 week ago. My nail was chipped within 2 days, I went got it fixed and by Friday...the same nail they fixed *plus* 3 more started chipping. My hands were done 9 days ago and this is how they look!!! I've gone here twice for a mani/pedi. Both walk ins and was seen right away. The place is clean, staff is friendly and they take their time during the work. However, both times my gel mani chipped or peeled off in less than a week. Most recent time (about a week ago), my pedi polish which normally lasts forever chipped as well on multiple toes. I did not have the same tech for each time I went. This is disappointing because I like the place but I'm not sure if I want to waste another $50 on a job that'll get me only one week of wear. read more

OMG!!! What an attitude!!! And those people call them self professionals? Very pour knowledge about nail service. They don't even know correct names for the procedures. Lady on the reception was very rude she was sitting at the pedicure chair behind the room divider and try to speak from there with me. What I want I said she could not here of course but she didn't want to get out from this comfortable chair. Lady who did my manicure did not speak English. Every time I had a question she gave me an attitude and refer me to somebody else for the translation. She made my fingers bleed a few times and did not sanitize it! Came here for a basic pedicure which was $20. Cheap price which I thought reflected the service. The staff is not the friendliest starting off with how I was greeted. The place is pretty dirty and unsanitary. I felt gross by the end of my pedicure because while sitting there I was able to notice just how dirty everything is. I've been going to this place with ocassional cheating and visting other nail places for over a year. I love that they have a ton of colors to pick from, ESSIE and OPI. Most of their techs are friendly and pretty professional. It is a clean salon and there are always people there which should be a good indication of a reliable place. $30 for a mani pedi is a good deal. Warning friday afternoons are super busy but it is because this place is relaible. I've tried the spa pedicure which is good but not amazing. Never get your eyebrows done here ever they will ruin you. The lady could completely tell my eyebrows where different shapes. Literally after I broke it with hives all around my eyebrows. They do an alright job on nails and basically give you what they want you to have. read more

The staff was nice and worked to get through everyone in a timely manner. I wanted a white polish, and picked a sheet color. The nail tech was able to get me an opaque white when I informed him of what I wanted which was great!!!
