I really wanted to like this salon because my technician seemed very nice...at first. I asked for a pedicure and to just get my fingernails painted to match. She kept insisting that I get gel polish on my fingernails - and after telling her no 3 times, I finally said ok. I ended up with a full manicure - which I had not asked for. Something that should have cost me around $50 ended up costing $70. In addition, during my pedicure, she cut a huge gash in the side of my foot with the pumice stone. It was so painful, I just about jumped out of the chair. It is now 5 days later and I still have the painful cut. What's worse, she barely ran the pumice stone over my heels - so they are still callused (which was the primary reason I wanted a pedicure). My technician was the nicest in the salon - the rest were gruff and when it came to checking out other customers, couldn't figure out the cash register. They argued about the cash register for 10 minutes while the customer was forced to stand there waiting. Later, another customer entered asking for acrylics with a jewel - it took them another 10 minutes just to figure out if they could do what she was asking. This was my second try at this salon, and now I'll never go back. Very disappointing. read more

My daughter, niece and I all just had our nails done here. Plus one pedi. Great service. Very happy with our nails and pedi. Prices are reasonable. I made an appointment the night before for us. They took us right away. I am glad we made an appointment as they were very busy. They had four techs working. Very friendly as well. Five stars!! read more

Horrible. $37 for a bad pedicure. Nothing about my experience was even slightly relaxing. The tech cut my toe and then dabbed a cotton ball with acetone on it. The paint looks horrible. The whole pedi was rushed her idea of a "massage" was 1/10. Never again. read more

Unprofessional, overpriced! I've givEn this places multiple chances and today was my last. I just wanted a manicure with gel polish because I start a new career on Monday. My nails would have looked better if I painted them myself! The lady was quickly rushing. I don't know why she bothered to pull off my cuticles because she didn't even get tthe pAint close to the edges anyhow! They are lumpy and just a sloppy mess. I get to the register to pay and misunderstood her 3 times as to how much she was saying it was... I finally realize she is saying 35 dolla... WHAT!!! Never again!! read more

My mom and I went there, I got a full set and a pedicure and she got a manicure. My pedicure was great. My nails are not. They look boxy and unnatural and he clipped them much shorter than I wanted. The acrylic is very thin and poorly applied. The nail technician kept trying to sell me on gel polish or a french tip which would have cost me 50 instead of 32 and he ignored me after I declined. For the two of us to have the manicure, pedicure, and full set it cost 82 dollars which is insane. I will be driving to Pittsburgh to my old salon USA Nails for their superior service. read more

I had a Pedicure done there last weekend. It was absolutely horrible. First off, they weren't friendly at all. The nail tech cut the cuticle on my big toe and it bled. He pored some blue antiseptic stuff on it and pushed my foot back into the water. They barely touched my heals. They are still dry. The nail tech who put the nail polish on did a terrible job. I paid the extra $15 for gel, because they said it lasts longer. She didn't even apply the polish all the way down to the nail beds. The woman at the cash register was rude. I am thoroughly disgusted that I paid $50 for this crap. Will never go back!! If I could give a negative rating, I would!! read more

This is my absolute favorite local salon. The staff is friendly, they aren't pushy, and they always have up to date products and services. I've been going to this salon for almost 10 years and I've never had any issues. I've gone to other salons and techs have commented on how amazing my nails are. Their prices are reasonable. My best advice for any nail salon---speak up. If you want a certain shape or length, tell them. They aren't mind readers. read more

I've tried this place a few times hoping they would get better but never had any luck. The last time I was here I got my eyebrows done by a separate lady than my nails and when I told the woman the tip I wanted to put on my card after she swiped it, she responded with a laugh and said "I don't even want that what would I do with $3" ... my eyebrows were only $11 and regardless very rude to speak to your paying customer like that. I have never had acrylic nails before and I decided to try them and I went to this salon with my friend and they put them on very quickly and I noticed the side of my nails poked out under the fake ones and then after two days one of them popped off and I went back and they fixed them for free but it has been a week and they are falling off again and I was told the fake nails don't fall off easily. I just had a very bad first experience with fake nails I guess but also it was super expensive. read more

I had been to this salon before and had a bad experience. The tech was surly as was everyone in the shop and she actually hurt me while she was working on me! When I pulled away and told her so, she laughed!!! Yes, she actually laughed, and my nails left much to be desired. They were a mess. So as I paid the over-inflated biil, I told the tech I was on my way to the Chinese restaurant to have lunch with her tip. So two years later, I found myself in the mall and decided to give them another chance. It was a Sunday and my salon is closed. What a bad idea that was. I waited for what seemed like an eternity while I watched a tech eat her lunch and then she watched another tech do a manicure. Then she began to put acetone in nail polishes that should have been discarded. Finally I sat down for my manicure. My tech was very nice while he did a crappy job. He didn't spend enough time priming my nails for the acrylic and he did not use enough acrylic. When I pointed out the fact that I could still see where my nails had grown out through the acrylic, he at this point tried to blame the previous tech who had worked on me, I was having none of that. My usual nail salon is TQ Nails who employs award-winning nail technicians. I then told him, " Look you need to use more acrylic!" and he just stared at me while smiling. By then I had begun to attract a little bit of attention. The manager and another tech walked over and both of them had blank stares on their faces that matched my techs I explained to the manager "You guys don't use enough product, and I saw another technician putting acetone in the nail polish which means that you all don't use enough product no matter what it is." Finally as they were all still standing there with half-smiles and blank looks, I said "You know what, just finish me up, I'm leaving." As I was paying my once again over-nflated bill I vowed neve r to go back I will never stray from my usual nail salon which is, again, T.Q.Nails. Their service and customer satisfaction is unequalled They never disappoint and have won awards tp prove that point. And I'm only giving Nails II one star because there is no zero star option and the technicians are nice, and seriously that's the only thing this place has going for it. read more
