Got my nails done. My nail tech rushed through the nail. He seemed like he had better things to be doing and made it obvious. The vibes were off. He didn't prep my nail before applying the tips, he didn't dust off the nail before adding top coat, and he was extremely rough on the nail. My fingers are sore. The nails are lumpy. The location in front of JCPenny is terrible. My wife went to have her nails removed today and when she got there two of the employees argued over who was going to do it. Then the guy who did it just started ripping her nails off. Did not grind them down or soak them. Tore chunks out of her real nails and caused them to bleed. Very unprofessional. read more

Received chemical burns from an eyebrow wax from nail techs, Nicki. Called them within 20 minutes to tell them I was in severe pain and the manager, Hannah, laughed and said "some places charge $15 for eyebrows. We charge $10 because they're just nail techs". I immediately went back in after being "disconnected" and not called back. The adolescent front desk receptionist, Ava, was very inconsiderate and rude when I called and when I showed back up. My manicure was good. However, a lady nail tech wearing a black shirt with white sparkles dots asked me, "what happened to your face"? She even made a circle with her finger around her own face. I even told her that what she said was very rude because I was born with this deformity. To make it worse, my own nail tech kept telling me it was okay, because he knew I was extremely upset. I told him it was not okay. I was visibly upset. No one, and I mean no one stood up for me. She never apologized, she only said she did not understand English. Walked in at 1:15, was barely greeted, told to pick my color. I am new to the neighborhood and wanted to try something close since my place is in the woodlands. I get powder and shellac. It took him 40 minutes which shows. The lack of care and he butchered them short, didn't ask what I wanted and took NO notice to what I was saying. At checkout I asked if he normally goes that quickly. She said she wasn't sure and asked if I didn't like them. I said no i do not, not happy with them at all. She said oh sorry. No options for what could be done to fix them. I paid $52 for the worst nails I've ever had. All different sizes, no base color for a French mani... Service here is horrible, I watched the entire floor for an hour straight do nothing but waste productive time. One crew was gossiping for an entire hour straight while working very SLOWLY with a customer. Meanwhile the floor is FULLL. My mother and I walked in for mani pedi and was directed to a chair for pedi. We sat there for an hour straight nobody even came to turn on our water to at least get us comfortable. The two techs that did come out acted as if we were their burden. Not happy at all. TOOK THEIR SWEET TIMMMMEEEEE coming out. My nail tech insisted on doing a new set, even though that was completely unnecessary. She then used a fake nail tip to PRY off my nails. She ripped several of my nails and made me bleed. I was vocal about the pain and she would not stop. She ripped one of my nails almost all the way off the nail bed and then SUPERGLUED it back on, then went to do my next nail the same way. I have to update our review because it got worst the next day! They did a horrible job on our nails, we could of done a better at home. They also put WAY to many coats on our nails, there were bubbles, It was uneven, and there are obvious smears. They almost put a completely different color on my toes and they used a different color on my moms toes than she asked for. When they "finished" they immediately tried rushing us out of the salon. They put our shoes on while our nails were wet. When I asked them to fix our nails they just put another coat on top. Their whole salon was also not very clean. So when your service is nothing more to the proprietor than a timed service of money and not an experience for you, you don't receive what you paid for. If you simply want some dead skin taken from your heels and a bad polish job (with skin nicks), Nails of America is your place. If you want a pampering to unwind and recharge, I suggest you choose one of the many other nail places to go. My "massage", which was part of the service on their menu consisted of the gentlemen trying to get lotion from an empty bottle only to dip his hands in the water and rub my legs with water for approximately 30 seconds. I personally witnessed the "watering down" of the polish with either water or some other chemical which creates a reaction that causes the polish to not dry correctly. read more

A little disappointed. First time to this location after taking up the company as a whole. Other locations have been a great experience but this was not like those. We got mani pedis and the lady that did his was SO sweet and nice. Made light conversation but was just a little too quick for his liking since his pedi was shorter than mine though he got the higher dollar package that was supposed to be 10 minutes longer than mine. My tech insisted on a few $ upgrades and My husband wanted to pamper me and wanted to say yes to them all. But it's just not what I wanted, so I politely declined.. several times.. I've also been growing out my finger nails for sometime and have had a couple break. She insisted that I cut them and though I said I didn't care that they were uneven and I wanted them to keep as MUCH LENGTH as possible. She still cut them all down and too short for my liking. By the time I realized it was too late to say anything... I thought she was just clipping to even out a little. But she evened them out to my shortest nail.. I'd give another try, I think my tech just wasn't a good fit for me. She wasn't very personable and seemed to laugh AT me from the get go. Worst pedicure ever! The tech was Tony, my water was cold, the chair I couldn't get to work. He gave me the massage with the scrub, and I felt like he would never quit, it left my legs feeling raw! Scrubbed my foot so hard it hurt. I broke one of my nails so I had cut it back, it had a rough edge that he didn't even file smooth. The towels were lukewarm, and last but not least he was coughing all over me and didn't wear gloves. He had on a mask but it was barely covering his mouth. The polish job looks like I did it myself. Her polish started coming off 1 hr after our appt. whenever I try to get a refund from them they told me they would not do it. The best they could do was give me a partial refund for $32. I asked to speak to the manager.. he told me "I don't know what do you want me to do but I don't have time to deal with this." Seriously... so I asked to speak to the owner. I have never thought to write a bad review for anything before. I asked for my acrylics to be removed and he ripped them off one by one even after I told him it hurts and kept pulling my hand away. He continued even after he destroyed my nail and it bled. After asking for someone else Linda did a good job at removing the nails, but there are bumps and bubbles in my shellac. They said they would take 10 dollars off since I bled everywhere from the first guy. But I don't know if any place that charges $38 on a shellac full set with no tips. I will never come back, as my hands hurt and half of my pinky nail is half gone. read more

These lovely people went out of their way to accommodate my schedule and even took the time to do what I asked with no complaints! Despite closing at seven they allowed me to walk in at 6:55 pm and still did a full set of acrylics on me with smiles. I wish I had more money to tip her!
