My complaints are: - They kept leaving us for other customers, making us feel like our business is not important. -complained about the designs we chose to get. "Ombre ombre ombre" when it was giving them a hard time. - Didn't give us the stone massage until we asked for it, and then it was half assed. -didn't shave off caluses off heels and are still so rough -1 coat of pink nail polish and can see the nail through it. -dug into my nails hurting my toe - paid 70 dollers when every other time it was $55 WITH design and multiple colours - only got 1 stamp when we should have had 3 for $70 (1 stamp per $20) -rushed the designs -totally uneven polish application -argued with me when I mentioned she was not doing the design you asked for read more

I was leaving the country for a month, and a lady working there suggested the shellac nails, as last 1 month. Came back to nail time, to have removed, and brows done. The girl that removed the shellac ground my nails so thin on top, that all broke off witin 1 hour, but did not removed all of the shellac. Stays now on nails!! I was having brows done. I was in the room waiting, when the girl came bursting in saying her boss was angry, and to do brows ASAP. I have sparse eyebrows, so just wanted shaping, and clean up. She only waxed the brows. Did not groom, or trim the longer eyebrows. Did not give me a mirror to check. She then just quickly left the room. I am deeply disappointed , with the poor level of service I received. I had a French shellac manicure, I had gone there previously on a Saturday and requested this and gad a lady for an hour and a half didn't understand what I was wanting. wasted my time. so I waited till Tuesday until Neeta was in because she had done such a great job previously. She did a wonderful job again she knows what she's doing she has talent I think in this industry talent is huge. This was actually one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a pedicure. The girl spent barely any time on my pedicure. They were very rough. I kept saying ow. I had bleeding around my nail beds and my blood actually in the shellac polish where I was cut. The paint job was sloppy, and they did not scrub the bottom of my feet and looks worse then what I started with. Also no leg massage. I mentioned to the guy at the front that the girl did not do a good job and he said she could fix it. I politely declined because honestly, I did not want her touching me again. I am 7 months pregnant and worry about infection and I can sadly say that I will not be returning after this horrible experience. I went here for a regular manicure. Walk-ins are welcomed. I walked in and was asked to print my name on the sign-up form. I was then asked to go to a specific table. Vy then asked that I select a bottle of nail polish and sit at table 9. Well, I had to select a polish colour three times. The first one was low. The second one was a faint blue with tiny sparkles, which was thin when tested on my nail. I then selected a nice shade of blue. Vy was skillful in applying my polish and fixed up my cuticles. She chatted to me much more than the rest of the folks. I was the youngest customer there. Most were in their sixties. I'm thinking that the prices are so cheap that it suits those who have a fixed income. My regular manicure (a first for me, as I tend to do shellac) was $20.34 with tax. What has caused me not to give a perfect rating was the upselling and asking to pay before the polish went on my nails. The former was a turnoff, as I didn't want to get a pedicure. I also didn't want my eyebrows waxed. The idea behind the latter was not messing up my manicure by yanking out cards and cash. Still, my hands were under a fan for 20 minutes, which dried out my polish nicely. I'd come back here again, knowing that I am there for the service that I truly want, without feeling pressure to have other services done. The quality is amazing for what you pay for. The lady actually yelled at me for mentioning, with a smile and a giggle, that the nail art didn't look like a hockey stick.... twice. The first time I put my hands up and said okay okay and smiled. The second time she just started shouting while I was talking with my friend. These women are nuts. Also... the job she did screamed chop shop. There are several nail salons within a few blocks of this place. If you're out for a relaxing day, maybe try one of the other ones. And I still don't think the nail art looks like the double hockey stick..... They try to get you to pay cash so they can pocket it without paying taxes... and he calculates the taxes and makes sure to tell you and show you on the enormous calculator he waved in the air... unfortunately he charged 15% instead of the legislated 13%. I have been going for 2 years every other weekend. I am always taken care of when I walk in. Some of these reviews are bullshit!! Ive watched disgusting customers behave like children, say inappropriate things about the staff to friends they are with, eye rolling, etc..... First of all don't show up 30 min before close and expect 3 pedicures on the spot. Actually don't show up for any service 30 min before close, so rude. Not impressed! I walked in last week with my sister to get gel manicures. They worked on both of us at the same time, very rushed. The man who did our nails screwed up both of our nails, 5 days in and I had to replace the polish and my actual gel nail is chipped. I wouldn't recommend going here unless you want rude service and a horrible job done on your nails. I had 2 acrylic nails break within a week of having them. They were not impressed I wanted them fixed. The second time I went to get one fixed, because they didnt glue my nail u underneath to the acrylic, the lady was so rude. She wasnt getting the shape right so I kept showing her my other nail and telling her how it's different. She got up and went to do someone else's nails. Then they all starting talking to each other in their language and laughing. The first time I came here the lady was doing her own nails while mine were in the uv light drying. The second person who came to finish mine kept rolling my finger to the side in a rough way. They didnt pay attention to detail at all. I go to get my toes done once a year for summer and I always get amazing service! I got a bikini wax before there but today I went and I made an appointment before hand but I felt that they forgot. I felt it was rushed because it's not as good as a job compared to last time and I have 2 spots that's are like bruises on my bikini line, Hairs were missed but I am very disappointed as I'm going on a trip I now have these bruise like things in my bikini line. Would still go there for a wax but I would just sure I get the person I had before hand. I felt it was rushed compared to the last time I went. I also got my eyebrows waxed and I said I just want a clean up and she did an excellent job with that!! Haven't had a pedicure in years because I'm a nursing student and I don't have the time so finally for my birthday I thought I'd go get a pedicure and I asked on the phone if they use the metal razor to scrape the bottoms of the feet and they said yes so I came down and they gave me a really fast pedicure they hardly even scraped my feet and they did not use the razor even though I saw them on the counter next to me, the lady beside me received a beautiful design and my design was just awful, it looked as if I did it myself... then the lady just rushed me out and didn't even say goodbye or have a nice day she just said "DONE" and lifted my arm rest. WORST OF ALL..... I was OVERcharged, shellac pedicures are supposed to be 35$ I was charged 56$ and when I called back to ask why they told me because I had take off? I said no I didn't then he said it was because I paid debit I said so what?! Then he tried saying because I got a design..... and jewels.... that this apparently added almost 30$ to my bill?!?! The place I usually to go to CEDAR TREE NAILS (the best) is closed on Sundays until November and I am presently only free on a Sunday furthermore my birthday was coming up so I needed to get my nails done. I came prepared with the color and shape I wanted. The man started my nails and he got the shape down pat. Then a girl took over and it was all down hill from there. She spent all her time filing down the nails even though I tried to explain to her about the shape, she kept insisting that she knew what she was doing and that she would make everything perfect and if I didn't like anything she would fix it. Long story short I had the little finger on my right hand the shape I asked for and the other 9 fingers in some other shape. I had a pale silver gold color I did not request on my thumbs and when I tried to protest again she said it would brighten once it dried still hasn't and that was almost 2 weeks ago. When I go to pay they inform me that its basically $70.00 after the man had said $55.00 turns out I was charged an extra $5.00 because I wanted 2 colors which I explained from the start that I would have and the man had told me $55.00. I do not know what she did or why she would put another color on that I did not even like or want without explain that this was an additional color and cost. Its less than 10 days later and I bear in mind I got gel nails and shellac polish and I see a visible crack which will break any day now on my left middle finger an of course there are scratches. NOT EVEN IF SOMEBODY PAID ME WOULD I GO BACK TO THIS PLACE I HAVE BEEN TO SHITTY PLACES BEFORE BUT PAYING ALMOST $100.00 BUCKS FOR A COLOR I DON'T LOVE AND SHAPE I HAD TO FIX MYSELF AND NAILS THAT WILL BE DESTROYED IN A FEW DAYS IS UNACCEPTABLE.
