I almost walked past with my nose turned up, but I glanced through the dank little doorway and changed my mind. As you walk through, the shop takes shape - it becomes lighter, more inspiring and more stocked. This is foodie and health heaven, much as the shop's name suggests. The refrigerated cabinet holds all manner of cheeses - goat, feta, sheep, cheddar, ricotta as well as yoghurt, milk and butter. An effort to keep things natural and local has clearly been made. Further down is a wonderful shelf stocked with hundreds of brown paper packages, containing a huge variety of seeds, beans, grains and flours. I can't imagine there is anything missing from this pulse-paradise. I love the fact it's all wrapped organically with labels describing exactly what is within, the nutritional information and cooking instructions. On the opposite side of the shop is a bizarre array of vast plastic tubs and containers which look as if they'd be better placed in a factory. But, on closer inspection, they are enormous pots of weird and wonderful substances such as agave nectar - usually very difficult to track down. Finally, at the back of the shop is a fabulous fruit and vegetable section, resplendent with purple carrots, crunchy lettuces and shiny fruit. This is a wonderful shop for anyone who likes organic, top quality food. Living healthily seems so easy in a place such as this, where all those tough-to-find products have their place on the shelves. It is quite expensive, but you can't put a price on top quality produce. This shop is frequently crammed with customers, glowing at the sight of such healthy food. Perhaps the Organic Paradise and Suveran's rather dishevelled exterior is a cunning ploy to keep one of Bondi's best-kept secrets under wraps.

This supermarket has been opened in Bondi Junction since 2014 sometime. I decided I would give it a chance after all you got to check out different places for options sometimes. I have shopped in Aldi in Europe so knew what to expect. This store is a little fancier then your typical Aldi in that it's got wooden floors and a lot more spacious then some of them. You can definitely see that prices are cheaper in here. Might not have all the household names but if you were selective with your shopping you can trim your weekly shop for sure. They are good for meats and fresh produce and pantry items that brands don't matter so much. Aldi doesn't offer bags though so be prepared with your own and on Occassion you can get quite a long line up for the register as they aren't big on service here. Tonight though wasn't any problem with that but be prepared to wait if it's a peak time. Would come back here again because I did save money compared to what I would pay with the Giants.

If you're set on eating organic, look out for the yellow Certified Organic signs on the stalls, or ask the operators. If you keep walking towards the back, you'll also find a bunch of clothing, soaps, cards, antiques and enviro-friendly stalls too. There are a few tables scattered around and usually some musical entertainment, or keep walking to the end of the line and you'll find a grassy field to sit and guzzle your purchases. The Larder is a beautifully arranged store full of gorgeously packaged products that will have you wondering whether you're buying something just for its pretty jar or for the actual product itself. They stock a really great range of Australian and international cheeses, Hunter Valley olive oil by the litre, and top brands like Christine Manfield, Byron Bay Chilli Co and Toby's Estate. If you're on your way to a dinner party or BBQ and need to take along a token offering, grab a loaf of Brasserie sourdough or a cheese platter. The specialty grocer store opened after the owners returned from France and realised how difficult it is to find all the quality local and imported products you wanr in the one place. A couple of the websites suggested to get Emu Oil and they recommended a shop in Chinatown, but I went to other Asian places, but they didn't know what I was talking about and on a whim, I came here and voila - they have Emu Oil. I have developed eczema when I moved to NY and it's always been pretty mild, but it flares up from time to time, but maybe due to covid I am washing my hands even more and I was already a compulsive hand washer, so let's say I always have clean hands. The flight here killed my hands because the soap they use on United is way harsh. It totally wrecked havoc and my hands are cut up and irritated. I saw that Emu Oil helps and it has other benefits and so I decided to get it, but the super nice blonde lady introduced me to another brand non-Emu Oil (Juniper) and also recommended Weleda Skin Foods, but I advised I was only buying things that I couldn't get from the states. I ended up coming back here again to do more shopping and Peter helped me and I believe he's a pharmacist and he was also really nice and recommended Graham's to me. This place has a warehouse type vibe about it - ceiling to floor is stacked with vitamins. I actually needed help to find what I was looking for but when I arrived at it I couldn't believe it - it wasn't just a couple dollars cheaper than the chemist, it was a good $15 or so dollars less expensive than even Coles. I check the expiry date just to be sure and it was totally fine! Even better the staff here totally know their stuff, not just about what is where but about what vitamins to take for what things etc. Love Mr Vitamins!
